Glitch shrieked and spun around to see a black silhouette of a cat hovering above the ground.  It had white eyes, a white nose, and a white mouth that smirked mischeviously.

Anti saw a white silhouette with black eyes, a black nose, and a black mouth instead.

"Wh-who are you!?" Glitch asked shakily.

"Call me Gabby.  I represent your innermost being...who you used to be." the black cat said.  "You're the only one who can see me.  And I'm here to help you."

"Oh...?  Wait, so you're me...but from the past...?"

"Eh.  More of a corrupted version of the past you.  Kind of like you are.  Except, well... just never mind.  It's complicated."

"Okay..."

Meanwhile, Anti was having a conversation with her silhouette.

"J-just call me Annie..."

"Is that your name?"

"K-kinda...? Well...it WAS your name before. Because, well, I kind of represent your past self."

"...oh?"

"Yeah... a-and only you can see me."

"Oh..."

"Well, I'm here to help you."

"Oh..!"

"You sign 'oh' a lot."

"Oh."

"Seriously, you should stop..."

"Oh...sorry."

"It's fine."

Both girls were curious about their new companions. 

However, little did they know they'd be led down different paths....
