Y/N's P.O.V

You were just being nice, you never expected it would become like this. A Fatui is confessing to me right now. A few weeks back, I was able to escape from all the maids in the house. It was getting harder to get out that's why I decided to go on an adventure. Little did I know, an abyss mage was planning to ambush me that's when he came. He saved me from them.

I didn't know anything about him but I decided to repay his kindness. I treated him as my savior until I found out that he was a Fatui. I started distancing myself from him little by little and he noticed. "Y/N. Why are you standing so far away from me?", He took steps towards me as I took steps back.

"Hm? Nothing. Can you please stay there?", I stood firmly as I ordered him. "Why are you being cold? Y/N?", He still had his façade up. "I'm not, you must be delusional.", I tried laughing it off but his expression seemed to darken. "Y/N.. I like you.", He suddenly blurted out. 'W-what? Wait.. No. It must be one of his plans.' "I already know that you're part of the Fatui, no need to continue your plans like that.", I replied harshly and turned my back on him.

I never looked back because if I did, I might've wavered. I never gone out again. Days passed, rain fell. It continued on for days only difference is that he came to stand outside our mansion. "Lady Y/N, that man is standing in front of the gate again. Won't you let him in, it's pouring outside.", One of my maids suggested as she poured tea in my cup.

"Let him be.", I waved her off. I sipped on my tea while watching him stand there. He was drenched in rain and was looking down. I spent my past days as a lady to try and harden my heart. "Lady Y/N, the guards tried to make him go away but he said that he won't until you talk to him." "Why should I? Give me a reason and I'll think about it." "L-lady... I- I'll be off.", She curtsied and went out of my room.

Just as I was about to leave my room, I glanced towards the window and saw Childe trying to force his way in. '... He's causing too much trouble.', I sighed out and walked out the gate. I stared at Childe once I arrived, he looked tired and was drenched in rain. "Childe.", One call from me was enough to get his attention.

".. Y/N...", He was relieved that you were finally going to talk to him or so he thought. "You're causing too much trouble, don't you think?", His small smile turned into a frown. "Y-Y/N...", I gestured for the maids and guards to go away so we could talk. "I don't know what you're actually planning but stop it. I don't want to be a part of it. This should be the last time I see you here, if not.. I won't hesitate to kill you."

Terror filled his eyes. His complexion was paler than before. "... I.. Y/N, even if it's like that... This won't be the last time I say this.. I like you, a lot. It wasn't a plan of the Tsaritsa.. It's my genuine feelings... Thanks for the small talk, I'll be going then...", He ended it with a half-heartedly chuckle.

I stood there, not knowing what to do. It didn't seem like he was lying but I still had my doubts. It started pouring again but I still didn't move an inch. 

"It seems you won't be stopping soon. What will you do next, Childe?"
