▬ MAGICAL. how else was lennox to describe summers with the fisher-conklin bunch? that's what it was, it was magical. she looked forward to spending the months of summer in cousins with her favorite people on the planet.

especially a certain boy.

lennox and conrad had been inseparable from the time they were four and five, the moment they met they were attached at the hip and every summer since had been just that.

but as they got older and feelings grew, things changed. last summer they had finally given in and admitted how they felt and there may have been some sneaking around, okay there was a lot of sneaking around.

neither were sure what it really was, they just liked being together.

but when spring rolled around, things changed, well, conrad did. he'd become distant. he pushed people away. he closed himself off. he quit football. . .

he quit lennox.

when summer rolls around again, lennox spends her summer where she always does, in cousins, but there's a slight hitch▬ she now lives with the boy that broke her heart.

now, lennox tries her best to cover up her broken heart while spending more time than she intends to with conrad fisher. as tension rises, lennox struggles to keep from falling back into him.

but that's easier said then done.

summer is still as magical as ever, but it's anything but smooth sailing.
