▬▬ wren cortez wanted out. she wanted to make something of herself. maybe she could be a singer... everyone always told her she'd had a nice voice.

maybe college was her ticket out... if only she could afford it while keeping herself fed and paying 'rent', as her father called it.

so she did want any sixteen-year-old in her position would do... she got a job, well, another job.

on top of her job at the local stop-and-shop, she started tending bar - with the help of her fake i.d. - and while the customers weren't great, the tips were nice.

i watched the movie... now we're here yay!

this movie is seriously so good! and i say that as someone who grew up watching the original twister movie - which i adore

and i may be slightly obsessed with glen, but who isn't???

i'm also very very obsessed with tyler's truck! it just does something to my little southern heart, especially when he's sittin' in it 😏

and that damn cowboy hat 🥵

anyways, i'm really excited about this fic and i'm hoping it'll help me break through my creative blocks!!
