ೃ⁀➷ "EVERYTHING okay?" Madelyn asked Juliana. Juliana shut off her phone, setting it in her lap with a nod. "Yeah."

"Girl hop off the phone we are at the beach!" Madison cheered, causing a giggle to escape Juliana's lips.

Juliana extended her legs in the lawn chair, being careful not to knock the drink in her hands.

"So, what are we doing for your birthday hm?" Madelyn asked. Juliana hadn't taken much thought about it but she should because it's only a week away.

Madison smacked her lips with a nod and swung her legs over as she sat up. "Exactly. Like we obviously have to go out for dinner."

Juliana nodded, agreeing with Madison. "Yes, yes."

"Or hear me out." Madelyn began. "We can go... to the club." She had a smirk spreading on her face as she took a sip from her drink.

Madison's head perked up as she raised her eyebrows. "Yes." she nodded her head as she dragged the 's'.

Juliana was hesitant for a second but she shrugged it off. She hasn't gone to a club in awhile, so why not? "That sounds like Saturday activities."

"Yup." Madelyn and Madison said in sync, laughing about it right after. "I have to fly down to see my family that weekend though, but I'm sure I can make it work." Juliana's voice trailed off as her eyes wandered to the boys in the ocean.

Her eyes specifically wandered to that one boy she'd been spending her time with the most recently. She didn't know how drawn she was to his smile, it definitely did something to her.

"You guys just go on a date already," Madelyn whined as she caught Juliana staring. "I mean. Technically they already did a week ago." Madison raised her eyebrows twice with a smirk on her face in an attempt to be silly.

Juliana sat up with widened eyes. "No, we did not." She said defensively, raising her arms in surrender.
