"Things aren't looking well Lisa."

Taehyung said as he cough a little. Lisa look at Taehyung with worry filling her eyes. Taehyung cough more as his face got paler. Lisa looked at Taehyung "have you met the physician?" Lisa asked asTaehyung just catch his head a little.

"No need, many other people need the physicians at the moment. A little cough won't harm me anyway." Taehyung says as he cough more soon after. Lisa pursed her lips as she rub her face in frustration. It had been weeks and things just got worse.

After the battle and the sealing of the Demon Alpha, the curse had be fall Ustea. There is no day and night, the bloody moon never go away and the sun never rise. The air in Ustea had been influenced by the Demon Alpha's power, making it toxic.

The toxicity had caused many mortals to fell sick. It had been chaos in Ustea. Every species had been overwhelmed with sickness and no matter what their leader does, it will lead to nothing but failure.

Cough!

Taehyung's cough took Lisa's attention as she stood up when Taehyung cough so hard. Taehyung slowly pull his palm away from his lips when he felt something weird on it. Lisa widen her eyes upon seeing blood on his palm.

"Taehyung!"

Lisa run towards him when he suddenly fell and black out.

"How's my mate?"

Jennie asked as Jisoo sighed "he's fine for now,I've give him some herbs but I can't assure you that this won't happened again. The toxicity had caused his body to become overwhelmed and it show this kind of reaction."

Jisoo stood up "he need a lot of rest." She said as she look at Jennie. Jennie look at Taehyung who sleeping peacefully with worry "I understand your situation Jennie, but I really can't cure it. I just can help as much as I can." Jisoo apologise

"Don't worry unnie, thank you. I really appreciate your help. How's Eun-ha?" Jennie ask as Jisoo purse her lips and shake her head "Her fever hadn't go down. I could just pray for her well being." Jennie just keep silent.

Lisa stood there, listening to their conversation, she don't know. What should she do to help. "Auch-" Lisa suddenly yelp when she suddenly felt a stinging pain on her neck, taking both Jisoo and Jennie's attention. "Lisa, what's wrong?" Jisoo asked.

Lisa pull her hanbok, revealing the burnt mate mark. Yes, ever since the incident, the mark never disappeared, she had met the physician but the mark just won't go away. Lisa decided to give up since the mark didn't caused any pain to her.

However, today is quite different. The mark suddenly show a sign of pain. Jisoo went towards Lisa and look at the mark "It's glowing... as if it's reacting towards something." She said but before any of them could speak any further the guards suddenly came.

Lisa pull up her hanbok instantly, covering her body. The guard kneel down "Blue Moon Omega, the Queen of witches had come for a visit." He informed making all three of them look at each other.

"Your highness... what brings you here? I believe you are as busy as I am in handling the matter." Lisa asked as she hugged Rose "That's true, but I think you need to meet someone." Rose said as she pull away from the hug and look behind her.

Lisa look behind Rose and saw a man standing with a cloak covering his face. "Excuse us." Rose demanded as the guards look at each other with hesitation before looking towards the blue moon omega for approval.

Lisa nod and they excuse themselves "Who is this man behind you?" Lisa asked as Rose glance at the man who slowly pull down his cloak. Jennie who are standing behind Lisa, widen her eyes "you-" she cut herself off as she look at him, stunned.

Jimin glared at her before glancing at Lisa who are looking at him too. Staring back at her in the eyes, he give her a sharp yet cold gaze before speaking up

"I want to show you something, blue moon omega."

"Lisa... are you sure about this?"

Lisa keep silent as seokjin look at her. This decision is beyond crazy, bringing the heart of Ustea to the Demon Alpha's seal? What if something else happen? Seokjin doesn't trust Jimin even a bit. Jimin claimed that he need the heart to show her something.

Damn him, seokjin doesn't believe him but to his surprise, Lisa agreed with no arguement at all! Lisa pursed her lips when she still felt Seokjin's gaze on her, waiting for an answer "I don't know what else to do, maybe this might be a way to cure the disease."

She finally speak up, but Seokjin ain't buying it. "This is not about the disease." He shakes his head "You're doubting your own decision" he point out. "My heart felt it... I need to do this... I know, I might put people in more danger." Lisa admit.

"I know, I had been hurting everyone, I lied to myself, I lied to my heart and people got hurt. I had been thought since I was a child that my decisions effect the whole world..." her voice got slower each moment "but just this once.."

"I want to make a right decision."

Hearing that, Seokjin went silent. It must had been hard for her. Losing her mate and then all this, Seokjin sighed and look away "what makes you think he won't lie?" Seokjin ask but before Lisa could say anything, another voice speak up.

"Because it won't give me anything." Both of them turn to owner of the voice only to see Jimin "How would we know?" Seokjin ask doubtfully "I can't break the seal even if I have the heart. it's power is greater than mine, I just want to show you a truth." Jimin admit coldly.

"Why would you want to help us know the truth?" Jimin scoff as soon as he heard that. Glaring at Seokjin with so much hatred in his eyes, Jimin speak up "I'm not helping you." He said "I just want you to know the truth..."

"So you would regret it your entire life."

Lisa know, she won't regret this.

Standing infront of the statue that had sealed the Demon Alpha, Jungkook, she holds the heart of Ustea in her hand. Jennie stand on her left as Seokjin went to her right with Rose following behind them.

Jimin point at Lisa "The heart is the bridge between you and him. Don't make mistakes again, omega." He hissed at her but Lisa just keep silent. Seokjin look at Lisa that are backfacing her, Lisa slowly lift her gaze up at the statue.

Kneeling down, Lisa let go of the heart as it float infront of her. Seokjin kneel down beside her as Jennie and Rose follow along. Bowing their head in respect, Lisa clasp her hand together. Taking a deep breath,she whispered.

"I begged you, if there is something I failed to see, show me."

The scene was silent until the heart of Ustea slowly start beating, the heart slowly start to glow brighter and brighter, slowly the light went so bright that everyone have to shut their eyes, including Lisa.

Lisa frown as she slowly open her eyes, trying to adjust to the light. Looking around, she find herself standing in a room. There's a little boy crying over a woman that are lying on the bed. Lisa squint her eyes.

Is that Jungkook?

"Sleep well Eomma, get a good rest and make sure to always be happy. I promise, that I'll take care of my baby sister no matter what."

The little boy said and Lisa realized that this is Jungkook's memory, the scene infront of her changed and the next memory showed Jungkook's harsh training with his father. Getting whipped till he bleed, he was just a little boy.

Then she saw a memory where he and Seokjin are together

"So hyung... Keep scolding as we grew up no matter what mistake it was, remind me not to change into someone like my father, tell me to pull myself together and never abandon me hyung."

"I promise Jungkook."

Seokjin makes promises

"Jennie is my everything. I'm ready to give everything to her. So please, hyung, when she becomes your mate make sure to see her as your equal not someone below you. When you bring her hands into yours, I want you to take care of her, as I did."

"I promise that I would take care of her."

Taehyung makes promises

"Of course, you'll surely will and promise me, till you meet them you'll live your life to the fullest and be happy."

"I promise."

Rose makes promises

"I'll stay happy for you, Oppa!"

"Promise?"

"I promise!"

Jennie makes promises

"Together forever, I promise."

Lisa make promises.

Lisa bit her bottom lips as she saw those memories of his life, the promises that they've made. Tears start brimming her heart when the memory change once again but this time a frown appear on her face.

She saw the Alpha King stabbing through Mother Maria's heart with a crying Jungkook not so far from them and she saw Jungkook saving her from Lilith by replacing her place. She saw everything.

Every single thing.

Tears slid down her cheek when Jungkook lay on the ground as he try to breath his last air. Gasping one last time, his eyes flutter close. Tears start flowing down her cheek none stop. Did she just saw him die infront of her?

But it didn't stop there when Jungkook's eyes snap open, fully black. Lisa know what's going on. That is when the Demon Alpha came but Lisa saw Jungkook fighting for conscious with the Demon and he did come back to her.

Only to get his heart broken by seeing another Alpha marking her infront of his eyes. Lisa rubbed the burnt mark as reflex upon seeing his point of view. Guilt building up in her heart. Jungkook lost it and the Demon take over.

And that is how the disaster happened.

Lisa let out a breath as she look down. The memories around her slowly vanish and she find herself standing at a cold freezing place. The snow constantly fell that she shivered. That didn't bother her but what bother her is...

This smell...

Vanilla

Lisa turn behind her and she gulp the lump in her throat. With a trembling lips, she whispered out a name that she missed the most.

"Jungkook"
