A FEW YEARS LATER

"The curse fades away."

Lisa's eyes flutter open as her gaze was met with the empty room. She look to her left and again, it's empty. A sigh left her lips as she lift herself up from the bed. Standing up, she walk to the balcony and was greeted with the morning breeze and laughter from her people.

She breath in the fresh air as she glance to her left, there is a small pot and a small flower. The entire flower are black, from the root to the leaves and to the flower. People call it, the Dark Peony Flower. After the incident of her meeting with her mate, this flower bloom in the entire Ustea.

After some investigation, they found out that the flower is actually a medicine and it cure every single disease that are happening in Ustea. Lisa knows where did the flower came from. She knows.

Days becomes weeks and weeks becomes months, the toxicity around Ustea slowly fades away. Since the hostile energy from the Demon Alpha starts vanishing, the Dark Peony flower slowly starts to extinct as well.

Lisa keep one in hope that it will make her longing for him cure too but to no avail, she just missed him more.

Another petal had fallen that day.

A sigh left her lips, she turn her body away as she decides to freshen up. Entering bathing area, she slowly strip of from her cloth. Revealing her delicate skin, the burnt mate mark on her neck had long disappeared

She walk to the hot bath and slowly sink her body. Resting her head in it, her eyes flutter close.

"Mommy, why did we always go there?"

The little boy asked as Jennie just smile while fixing his hanbok. The little boy is, Kim Hwan, Jennie's and Taehyung's first born, an Alpha. After knowing the truth, Jennie was beyond devastated. The guilt and sadness stressed her out causing her to pass out.

The physician confirmed that she is a few weeks pregnant. Instead of celebrating, Jennie was very sad of the news. Jungkook really want to be an uncle and now her child don't even have a chance to meet him.

Taehyung who feels her grief persuade her to not give up, telling her that Jungkook would want the child to grow healthy just like when he took care of her when she was younger. Now, she gave birth to a strong healthy Alpha.

Jennie never forgets to tell her son the story about his uncle. She told him what an amazing Alpha Jungkook is and Hwan look up on him as a role model although the boy never met the trueblood.

On Jungkook's birthday, she would visit the place where Jungkook was sealed and she would bring the little boy as well, now he is 6 and she is proud of her son.

Smiling, she pats his head "Do you remember about all those stories about the amazing trueblood?" She asked and the boy smiled instantly "yes! He is a superhero!" He giggle as Jennie just smiled. "Yes he is,"

"He is a superhero, a leader, a friend, an uncle and such an amazing brother." She says as she pats his head "and that place is where he lives." She say as the boy nod "why didn't he live with us? Aren't he our family?" The boy asked as a sad smile appear on her lips.

"Of course he is."

Both of them turn to the owner of the voice only to see Taehyung "daddy!" The boy run to Taehyung as he smiled and pick up the boy in his embrace. Jennie stood up as they're gaze met. Taehyung smiled at her "of course he is our family." He says as he walk to her and hold he palm gently.

"He will always be our family."

"What are you thinking about dear?"

Jisoo asked as she place her hand on Seokjin's shoulder. The Alpha lift his gaze to his mate and smile. They are sitting together as Jisoo place two cup of tea on the table. Seokjin was looking at the wide field in front of their house.

Jisoo follow his gaze and saw Eun-ha painting not so far from them. Seokjin take the cup of tea and bring it to his lips as he blow it a little "it had been a few years." Jisoo said as Seokjin sip on the tea. "She really miss him." She adds.

Eun-ha was drawing Jungkook's portrait, trying her best to remember his feature, she want people to remember and know about the Trueblood. Seokjin place away the tea "aren't we all?" He asked as they look at each other. Jisoo purse her lips.

"You don't need to blame yourself, you know that." She try to confront the male. After finding out Jungkook is not guilty, Seokjin left the pack house with his family and decided to start a new life. He become a farmer and they live silently.

Seokjin don't want to go back.

He chuckle sadly "it is my fault." He whispered "Among everyone else, I should have know better. We was together since we're kids. I saw his hardship and struggles. I even promised to not leave him and remind him to be a good person but then..." he couldn't finish his sentence as he look away.

Seeing him trying to hold his tears, Jisoo went to him and hugged the Alpha as she placed her head on his chest "he wouldn't like to see you like this." She says as a tear slid down Seokjin's cheek. He kissed her hair and hugged her back.

"I know."

"Why did you want to meet me?"

The male asked as he appeared from the darkness. Rose turn towards the owner of the voice and her gaze was met with Jimin's cold one. "Thought that you would never came." She said as both of them stood at the border of the Devil Mountain

Jimin scoff "this is our last met, You would probably never see me again." He said. "Why?" Rose asked but Jimin didn't reply to her. Knowing that the male won't say anything, she sigh and nod. "I got something from Lisa." She begins

Rose pull out a book and offered him. Jimin glance at it before taking it in his hands. He caress the book before flipping it open, there's a drawing of two people. A man and a woman. The male is hugging the female and the female is laying her head on his chest as both of them smiled happily.

"She wrote every detail in that book and she wants you to keep it." Rose said "why?" Jimin asked. Rose keep silent for a moment before answering "so the truth will never be buried forever." She said "Even if we tell the truth now, the story will change over the years." She continues.

"People will change the story slowly and makes it looks like he is the bad guy." She adds. "What makes you think I will keep this book?" Jimin asked "because we all know what is Jungkook's last wish." Rose answer him.

"One day, Lisa will kill Jungkook, in order to free him from the curse."

Jimin went silent "We just wish, in our next life, when that time comes, we at least know the truth, that he is not a bad person but he just want to free himself from a burden that he had no control of." Jimin bit his bottom lips upon hearing that.

The male suddenly turn his back on her and say "Whoever that enters the Devil mountain to seek for the Demon Alpha, none of them will come out alive. Leave it and you'll never see me again." He said and walk away into the shadow.

Slowly, Rose watch his body disappearing from her sight. She let out a breath as she also turn around and walk away from the place, back to her kingdom. As she walks, she suddenly halt her steps and glance at the Devil Mountain. "Jimin..." she whisper.

"I know you would the right thing."

Today is another day without him,

And it felt so lonely.

Yet it's my fault, so I accept this punishment wholeheartedly. I know what I should do in my next life, but the me in my next life don't. I just hoped, that she won't make the same mistake as I did.

He was such an amazing man yet people failed to see it because he was covered with his father's shadow and sins. I don't want the same mistakes to be repeated. Due to humans greed, monster was born and many lives got taken away.

Now the heart of Ustea have half of the power of the Demon Alpha.

Maybe not in this generation, but I believe that one day, people will start fighting over it and bloodshed will happen again. To avoid it from happening, I sealed the heart of Ustea in my soul. It will die with me and got reborn with me.

Ustea, will become Earth

In the end of the day, Death is not the Greatest loss in life, the greatest loss is what dies inside of us as we live.

Lisa put away the brush as she look at the letter she had wrote. Keeping the letter away she glance out the window and saw the full moon shining brightly on the night sky. She stood up and grab her bow. She pick up the candle and blow before turning to the window and jump out.

She run inside the forest in full speed and she stopped upon reaching her destination. The cherry blossom tree where they always met. Lisa let out a breath as she approach it. She sat down where she usually does and place the bow where he usually sit.

Looking up at the moon, she wished to feel him sitting together beside her.

Days turns to weeks, weeks turn to months and months turn to years. She did the same thing every night. She never stop loving him. She never look at another man and she never even thought about falling in love with anyone.

Day by day, she grow older.

Staying loyal to him, she rather die alone than live with another man who are not him. Till her last breath, she never forgets him and wish for the moon to make them meet, even if it's just in her dream. Accepting her fate...

She died of old age.
