before i get into today's rant, i just want y'all to know that i am not in anyway invalidating any of your work if you have done this, it just bothers me a lot and it's a subject that i want to talk about now!

you sit down and open up wattpad because you're bored. on your recommended, you see... a mafia romance?

OXYMORON IF I HAVE EVER SEEN IT

hi, yes, i have been affiliated with the French mafia, gone to their parties, my family has done business with them. but let me say one thing, my grandpa was their GROCER. no way were we dealing firearms or killing people. but mafia romances are not glamorous.

in 365 days? SHE WOULD'VE BEEN KILLED NOT KIDNAPPED. the mafia isn't going to spend time on someone that doesn't matter to them. and a mafiosa's son will NOT notice you at all. here's why:

1. arranged marriages. this happens a lot in the mafia world. a friend of mine is arranged and my great grandparents were in an arranged marriage. this is to keep the business tightly knit and not very inclusive.

2. they got a whole other shitload of things to worry about. deals about drugs, arms, prostitutes, men, and a whole bunch of others.

3. you are a huge liability if you interfere with anything. my grandpa accidentally killed a member of the south french mafia and he was almost killed. (the north stepped in and everything's fine but we still get checked on sometimes BECAUSE THATS HOW LIABLE WE ARE). it's not glamorous!! it's scary as fuck!!

also, a lot of mafiosas abuse their wives and children. now, the family that my grandfather helped cook for weren't that bad, but then again we never even saw them all that often so we couldn't make any judgements.

one other thing, the mafia is actually quite boring. unless there is a month or so of constant planning on raiding a facility or killings, there is pretty much nothing going on. it's parties all day everyday.

so, i beg of you, please, please stop fantasizing mafia relationships!! they suck ass!!
