- After We Collided

After leaving Vance Publishing, Aurora made her way inside Montgomery hotel, she followed after Vance and Kimberly who was walking ahead from her, Tessa and Trevor. Pulling on her bag strap that was over her shoulder she looked around seeing numerous of people scatted around the lobby of the hotel that they will be currently saying at.

"Welcome back to Montgomery, Mr. vance" The Hotel butler greeted the older man who was one of their regulars that stayed at the hotel quite a lot for business, "I have your rooms ready for you. We had a printer delivered to Mr. Trevor Matthews' room. We got Ms. Young's room ready on time. Unfortunately Ms. James room wasn't ready, so we had her upgraded to a suite with compliments of the management"

Aurora eyes widened in surprise sharing a look with Tessa who shrugged her shoulders with a smile on her face, "Has Mr. Jiang checked in yet?" Vance curiously questioned handing the butler the tab back as he gestured his head towards the bar behind them, " I do believe he's at the bar" Vance patted the man on the arm before he began making his way towards the bar and muttered under his breathe, "Of course he is"

"So I get a printer and you get a suite. You're enjoying this aren't you?" Trevor remarked raising her brows at the blonde beauty who smiled as she turned around to face him nodding her head in agreement, " pretty much, yeah" Tessa and Aurora both laughed quietly with one another as Trevor walked away from the two girls. Vance walked over to Kimberly as he placed his hand on her arm and told her, " Hon, do you mind taking Aurora and Tessa shopping? They need something for tonight. I trust you"

Kimberly beamed as she nodded her head before walking over to the two girls looping her arms with theirs, " let's go have some fun" Aurora had a small smile on her slightly startled as Kimberly dragged the two girls out of the hotel to find them something to wear for tonight for the club to make an impression to Mr. Jiang who was there to discuss business with Vance.

It didn't take long until they shopped around for an outfit for the three girls to wear tonight before they made they way back to Aurora suite where the three girls decided to get ready together. The James teen was sat on her bed wearing a pink silk dressing down as she had only just got out of the shower and was currently doing her makeup, "Are you sure we can get in? because I've never been to a nightclub before. don't they check?"

Aurora frowned in confusion as she turned to face Tessa who was sat in front of the floor length mirror as she shook her head slightly and replied, " Wait, you've never gone in any night club before?" Tessa shook her head awkwardly with a small smile, " back in new castle my brother was quite close to the people that worked in the clubs so me and my friends used to go like every weekend. You have no idea what you're missing out on"

Tessa couldn't help but giggle at the blonde as she was wild and fiery and knew that it was something Aurora would probably end up doing as she was completely different than her. Aurora didn't listen to her mother or other people's options of herself she lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed having fun with her friends where Tessa mother always wanted to know where she was every moment of the day keeping tabs on her so she was nothing like Aurora or make her quite envious of the girl.

"You'll be with us. It won't be a problem" Kim assured the two blondes as she spun the chair that Tessa was sat in around looking between the two girls, "before we go outside, I just wanted to tell you two something" the  two girls looked at one another awkwardly before turning their attention back to Kimberly, "okay..." Aurora trailed off as her frown deepened looking up at the older women from across the room.

"Vance and I are... more than co-workers" Kimberly revealed looking between Tessa and Aurora who acted like their was surprised but it was quite obvious that they were together with the way they looked at one another and acted around each other, "It was strictly a work thing for years, especially after his wife died. And then I started helping out with his son Smith, and, well, love can really take you by surprise"

Aurora lowered her eyeshadow brush as she started getting lost in her thoughts thinking about Hardin and her relationship with him and everything that had happened when she found out it was all because of a stupid bet he made with his friends, " Yes, it can..." Aurora trailed off as Tessa glanced over at the blonde beauty as while she was happy she had forgiven her with what happened with her and Hardin she couldn't help but still be jealous.

Tessa had never been with someone who loves her as much as Hardin loved Aurora as you can tell that the two of them belonged with each other as what the two of them had was special it was something consuming, a little bit dangerous and even if Aurora won't admit it he is her epic love that she had been in a relationship with a couple of people but she didn't love any of them like how she loved Hardin as she thought she found the perfect man to spend the rest of her life with only for it to all come crashing down.

Aurora climbed off her bed grabbing her makeup bag and mirror as she made her way across the room taking a seat next to Tessa placing her make up on the vanity mirror as Kimberly pulled out her phone showing the two girls her lockscreen where a picture of smith was seen smiling happily, " that's him?" Aurora questioned causing Kimberly to him in confirmation with a bright smile on her lips.

Tessa smiled softly looking down at the picture of Vance son, " aww" Kimberly placed her phone on the side as she looked between the two girls letting out a small sigh, " he's the sweetest kid. Ooh, I can't wait for them to see you both in your dresses tonight" Kimberly trailed off as she started rummaging through the bags of clothes, " Oh, shoot." She turned around to face Aurora and Tessa with an apologetic look, "We forgot to buy you underwear"

" but our clothes are at the laundry" Tessa quietly muttered under her breath sharing a look with Aurora as Kim had a thoughtful look on her face as her eyes lit up with an idea and stated, " if I leave now, I can run back to the mall..." Aurora shook her head frantically as she interrupted the older women, " oh, no, no, no. No, it's fine" Kimberly frown deepened as she looked between the two girls with an hesitant expression on her face, " are you sure?"

Aurora and Tessa looked at one another once again before looking back at Kimberly with a nod of their head, "Yeah, it's fine." Kimberly lips turned up at the two girls with an amused look and replied, "Okay, I guess we're going commando, then." The three girls laughed together as Aurora continued doing her makeup keeping it dark with a smokey-eye with a silver shimmering glitter that matched perfectly with her dress she had picked out, " I can't believe I've been at Vance for only a day"

"Well, Hardin said we'd be lucky to have you" Kim informed glancing over at Aurora from the corner of her eye as she was focused on doing Tessa's make up causing the blonde beauty to freeze slightly as she turned around to face the older blonde with a look of confusion on her face, " you spoke to Hardin?" Kim shook her head in response with her brows furrowed in bewilderment as she looked over at Aurora, " No, Vance did. He didn't tell you?" Aurora shook her head awkwardly, " must of slipped his mind"

A contented sigh left Hardin lips as he was sat on his bed removing the cover-up he had across his arm covering his new tattoo. Standing up he walked across the room towards the bathroom to clean it when his phone started buzzing before he could make it to the bathroom. Hardin grabbed his phone sitting back on his bed only to see multiple of text messages from Steph.

"Hang out with us tonight!"

"Come on, don't be lame!"

"I'm not going to leave you alone until you say yes"

Hardin rolled his eyes in annoyance as he was about to go get ready when he received another notification that Aurora had added a post on her Instagram causing him to click on it only to see a picture of both her and Tessa both dressed up with smiles on their faces with the caption' out with my girl 🫶🏻' he couldn't help but stroll through her photos most of them where with her and Olivia from when they went to turkey.

Hardin paused when it came to a picture of him and Aurora as the both of them kissing as they looked so in love like nothing could ever break them apart. Aurora had this spark in her eyes whenever she looked at him but recently it had died down and he knew he was to blame as he was going to tell her the truth but the way his so called friends exposed everything was wrong and it was cruel as he had broke both Aurora and Tessa heart that night.

Hardin scoffed throwing his phone on the bed standing up to get ready as he wanted to get his mind of Aurora and the only way he thought he was going to do that is at a party that's been held at a frat house getting drunk out of his head but he also knew that Olivia was going to be there giving him a chance to speak with her as she is the only one Aurora really talks to now and just wanted to know how she is as she's not been answering his calls and text and kept leaving him on read avoiding speaking to him at all cost.

A little while later, Kim, Vance, Trevor and Tessa were standing in the middle of the lobby of the hotel they were staying in waiting for Aurora who was still get ready. It didn't take long until the blonde beauty was walking down the steps slowly as she was texting Olivia only to look up to see everyone's eyes on her as she walked down the remaining of the stairs.

Aurora had picked out a silver short glittery dress with spaghetti straps which disallowed her to hide much skin which caused Trevor eyes to widened with a look of awe on his face as he kept his eyes on Aurora causing Tessa to scoff under her breathe with an amused expression on her face. Aurora smiled at everyone's reaction as she had her hair down in loose curls, she kept her makeup dark with a Smokey eye with a sliver glitter and was wearing a nude pink lipstick.

The dress fell perfectly on her body, accentuating her curves and tanned skin which seemed to glow radiating against her silver glittery dress and while Aurora was quite hesitant about it Kimberly did find an amazing dress. Luckily, Aurora had found the perfect silver strap heels to perfectly match with her dress. She was also wearing a golden bracelet that Olivia had gotten her a couple of days ago clasped to her wrist.

"Wow. You clean up nice" Trevor stated as she raised his brows his eyes trailing over her body only for him to groan when Tessa elbowed him in the stomach once she noticed he was just staring at her in awe and amazement. Aurora giggled as she shook her head tilting her head to the side while Trevor groaned quietly to himself when Vance teasingly spoke up, "Gee, Trevor, you sure know how to charm the ladies. Aurora, you look stunning"

"Thank you" Aurora replied with a bright smile as she walked over to Tessa linking her arm with hers as Vance looked between all of them and told them, " on the move" Kimberly grabbed Vance arm walking ahead of the other three as Aurora and Tessa shared a look before following after them with Trevor knowing they were heading to a club to make an impression as he is currently doing business with Mr. Jiang and wanted to work with him and hopefully this will be successful.
