"Do you like Miguel?"

Lexi stood in front of Eli, dumbfounded at what he just said.

"Eli, what are you talking about," Lexi said genuinely confused on why he would ask this.

"You guys have been hanging out quite a lot lately and.... I don't know, I guess I was...."

"Jealous?"

Eli nodded and held down his head in shame, but Lexi held his cheeks and that's what made him make eye contact with her

"Hey Eli, it's okay I understand where you're coming from. I'm sorry if I made you think I had something with Miguel, but we are seriously just friends."

Hearing Lexi say that let off a huge weight from his chest and he was relieved that he still had a chance with her.

"That's good Lexi. I just wanted to know. "

"Why did you want to know?"

"Well, it's because I lik-," Eli was interrupted by Miguel and Demetri barging in on their conversation.

"Hey lovebirds," Demetri said while putting his arms around Eli and Lexi.

"Hey," Eli said a little disappointed that his alone time with Lexi was up.

"Guys, I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be back," Lexi said to the boys. She started walking in the hallway but, as she was walking, she heard footsteps behind her.

"Why are you guys following me?"

"We don't want you to go to the bathroom alone. Who knows what people would do when they see a girl walk alone," Eli said.

Lexi smiled at her best friends for caring so much about her, especially not knowing her for a very long time. It meant a lot.

"Aww you guys are too sweet, you guys should go to the bathroom too. Might as well. "

The boys nodded in agreement then went their separate ways to the restrooms.

"So Eli.... you and Lex," Miguel said, squiggling his eyebrows.

Eli's heart fluttered at the sound of Lexi's name. "What about her?"

"Oh, come on, it's pretty obvious you like Lexi and we can tell she likes you too."

Eli was contemplating whether or not he should deny it, but he wants everyone to know he likes her, especially if there's a high chance she likes him back.

"Yeah, I do," Eli said with a smile under his surgeon mask.

"Pay up, Diaz, see I told you he liked her," Demetri said while Miguel reluctantly gave him a 20 dollar bill.

"So, when are you going to ask her out then huh?" Miguel said wondering why Eli was holding back.

Eli looked at his friends basically mentally telling them to shut up.

Before Eli could actually tell them, Kyler and his friends went into the bathroom,interrupting their conversation.

"I'm so frustrated man, I was just going to give her the bracelet."

"Like the cheap one, you gave that East Valley slut?" One of Kyler's friends said.

Hearing the voice made Miguel cringe.  He automatically knew who it was.

"Is that Lexi's sister's boyfriend?"  Demetri asked.

Eli and Miguel nodded their heads in agreement.

"Yeah, it worked on her, so might as well try it again, but Sam's dad had to ruin everything."

Eli, Miguel, and Demetri were trying to eavesdrop closer, but Eli tripped and knocked over a lacrosse stick.

Being scared for their lives, Eli and Demetri ran out of the bathroom, which earned a head shake from Miguel since he was the only one that stayed.

"Oh, shit, you better watch out Rhea'. That bum is not here to save you this time."

Miguel stepped forward closer to Kyler. "He's not a bum, he's my sensei." Kyler laughed at the boy, then had a straight face right after. " Get him."

"Eli! Demetri! Where's Miguel?" Lexi said to the boys who ran out of the locker room very quickly, startling the girl in front of them.

"Kyler and his goons were in the locker room when we were there and we ran away after they found out we were in there," Demetri said out of breath.

"What!!? So you just left him there?! You guys are so stupid," Lexi said to her idiotic friends.

Before Demetri or Eli could say anything, Lexi sprinted to the boys' locker room.

Opening the door, Lexi saw Johnny standing in front of him.

"O-Oh, hi, Johnny. Wait, what are you even doing here," Lexi asked the older man.

"I was trying to promote Cobra Kai by putting up flyers, then I saw that one dipshit kid walk out of here. I walked in....Miguel was on the floor."

"We need to get him home now," Lexi said

Johnny nodded his head in agreement but was distracted by looking into Lexi's eyes.

"What are you looking at, Johnny?"

Johnny snapped out of his thoughts when Lexi said his name.

"Oh, sorry, It's just that..... you look like someone I used to know. "

Lexi nodded then looked at Miguel in Johnny's arms, thinking about what will Carmen think about this.
