"Passengers for flight A085 to South Korea, please go to gate 26"

My heart pounds loudly as I hear the announcement. I was waiting in the lobby for nearly an hour till they call us. It's time for me to go. I hold into my thighs nervously as I felt anxious. I swung my bag on my shoulder and grip the other from my right palm.

As other passengers walk towards the gate, I too follow them with slight hesitation that was making me timorous. I keep trying to calm myself down as I walk through the passage. My boots create a light thud as I walk along the carpet underneath me. I glance outside,

The majestic white bird is proudly spreading its wings, showing its colossal fuselage. I feel the hair of my skin saluting when I perceive the size of it. I gulp, as I realize that I will be in that monstrosity after few minutes, starting my long awaited journey to Korea.

What if we crash? I mentally slap my face, shrugging my stupid thoughts. Nothing will happen to me,

My heart pounds faster and faster with every step I take. As I get inside the plane, I don't waste any time looking around. I quickly walk into a seat and flump into the cushion. I lock my belt, resting my head on the headrest of the seat. Digging my nails into the plushy arm of the seat, I pull my lower lip with my teeth as they announce the takeover.

"Nervous flyer?" A male voice inquiry me. I glance at the man sitting next to me. He grins, "You can hold my hand if you are scared," the man offers me, talking in perfect Korean with clear pronunciation. I stagger for a moment as he says. Dad told me to never trust a guy, I shake my head, refuting him,

"It's ok, I'm just a little nervous, I'll be alright," I say, pursing my lips together.

"Acting bold are you? I like that," he tells, stretching his lips to another smile. I scoff at his statement.

"I'm not acting bold,"

"You don't have to be embarrassed to show your fears you know," he cocks his eyebrow at me.

Before I answer him, I feel my body elevating like it suddenly lose gravity. My stomach jolts as an invisible force pull me up. After a second, a light feeling spreads through my stimulated body, making my tensed muscles relax. I breathe fast, realising that we took off. I gaze at the man who was smiling at me,

"Thank you," I say in a low voice, perceiving that he was doing that to distract me. He nods as he acquiesces me. The guy extends his hand to me,

"Jackson Wang, it's pleasure to meet you," he says with a matey grin. I smile at him, taking his hand to handshake.

"It's Y/n, Cha  Y/n," I introduce myself to him. He has a charming and friendly face, doesn't look more than twenty five years old. " Thank you for doing that," I say again, lamenting about how I acted earlier.

"Ah, it's fine, no worries," he says, again flashing his pearly teeth as he grins. "So Y/n, I see you are a Korean, going back to your motherland?" I nod,

"I'm going to visit my mom, I was living with my dad in America," he slightly nods as I talk. " For study purposes?" I deny, shaking my head,

"They are divorced,"

"Oh," Jackson looks taken back. I smack my lips, "So Mr Jackson, what brings you here?" he chuckles, fiddling his fingers,

"Aish, don't call me mister, I feel like a fifty years old man, Just call me Jackson. I'm too young to be called mister," I laugh as he says with pouty lips.

"Ok Jackson, what makes you come to Korea?"

"You know, business thingies," he talks cheerfully. He has a pleasant personality that anyone can't refuse talking to him. "Like what?" I ask.

"Fashion designing, brand promoting and stuff ," I glance at him as he says,

"You are a modeller?" he hums as a response, "Kinda, more like a manager,"

We keep chatting. I feel less restless while talking with him. He is affable and genial, which make my nervousness about flying fade away. With time I was getting drowsy. He notices me half dozing off while trying to keep up with the chat.

"I think you should get some rest Y/n, it's gonna be a long journey after all," Jackson says, passing me a pillow.

I thank him, resting my head on the comfy pillow. He too leans his head on the seat, pulling a sleep mask. I glance out from the shut closed window, sluggishly leaning my elbow on the edge.

I can see one of the gigantic wings cutting through the cotton candy-like dark clouds. It is barely visible since it is so dark. The blue and red lights in the fringe are glimmering faintly, sometimes disappearing as the puffy clouds cover the metal wing. The motion of the plane is likely drifting me to sleep with its low-frequency buzz that sounds like a lullaby. My heavy eyelids close, slumbering into a deep snooze.

I suddenly flinch and woke up, feeling a jolt that made my head collide with the sidewall of the plane. I flutter open my eyelashes, trying to figure out what happened. I palm my forehead, glancing at the surrounding.

Everything is normal and quiet as it should be.

I rub my temple, lying back on the seat. Jackson is still sleeping. Everyone else looks like they are sleeping too. I make a useless attempt to fall asleep again. The extraordinary tranquillity inside the plane is making me anxious. I wish Jackson was awake, at least he can keep me companied,

I glance out the window as I descry a bright silver light dazzle.

I keep my hand on the cold surface of the window, inching my face to the thick layer that is in between me and the stormy sky. The murky and dense clouds are savagely flashing white thunderbolts, spellbinding the viewers with its feral parade. I jitter as I feel another jounce.

I breathe heavily, turning my head to sideways to check the other people who are aboard.

It looks like I am the only one who's bothered by the sudden jolts. Maybe I'm thinking too much, I feel small sweat drops forming on my forehead. I sweep them off and unbuckle my belt.

I need to fresh up a little, maybe that'll help me to calm down.

Combing my fallen bangs backwards, I tighten my ponytail before mounting from my seat. I bump the pillow in the cushion and slide through the gap between the front seat and Jackson's long legs, making careful not to wake him up.

Most of the passengers are in their Dreamlands. Some are just munching into snacks the flight attendants supplied them. I walk through the space between the rows, making my way to the rear of the plane.

I splatter the cold water as the water gush from the tap, refreshing from the sensation of the chill it gives me. I move my sticky bangs away, clearing my face. My hair looks messy. I hear some unfamiliar voices through the flat walls of the lavatory, which was coming from the one next to the toilet I am using.

"You know this is dangerous right?" a low male voice queries grimly from his acquaintance.

"Do we have a choice? Don't be a fool, nothing will happen," the other guy rasps in a trigger voice, contradicting his partner.

I have no idea what they are talking about, I don't pay attention since it's not my business, but I suddenly freeze as I hear the next few words of the first voice,

"But captain, we are already losing signal strength, it's getting weaker. Isn't it safe to land at the nearest airport before things get out of hands?" A silent ghosts the surrounding for a second. He talks again,

"We can't risk their lives, the storm is only getting worse,"

"We cannot land as we want, I think you are aware of that," the raspy guy again cut the other guy off, not willing to accede to his statement. But his voice is a little less harsh than before.

"Look, we can't do anything till the control panel updates us-"

He doesn't finish his sentence as a big bounce interrupts. I ram against the wall with the big force. I breathe fast, causing my chest to move up and down with the shock. I hear pounding footsteps from the other room, stumbling to the front.

Another jolt makes me elevate, making me slam into the wall. I tightly grip the handle of the door, trying to maintain my balance. My body is swaying out of my control. From all of that, I am freaked out. I hear shrieking noises of people from outside.

I gasp in horror, almost bulging my orbs to leave their sockets. I startle, trying to open the locked door. To my fear and anxiety, it doesn't budge.

It's freaking not opening, I'm trapped inside,
