Aleta was walking aimlessly throughout the camp. There were a few people milling around and working but, the majority of the campers were gathered around a small screen. It was Unity Day and Chancellor Jaha was giving them all a speech. The dark haired girl walked over to the crowd and stood in the back of the bunch, barely listening to what the man had to say.

Aleta never liked Unity Day. Her parents always tried to force the celebration on her but she just didn't like the story behind the event. She couldn't understand why people would want to spend time celebrating the day The Ark blew another ship out of the sky for not wanting to unite with them.

On The Ark, she usually stayed in her home curled up in bed and reading the same old book over and over again while everyone else was out celebrating. If she wasn't reading, she was rewatching some old TV show or busying herself in her work. Anything to keep her mind off of all things Unity Day.

"Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again! Hey! Call this batch Unity Juice! Who's thirsty?" Jasper called loudly to the group. Cheers and shouts filled the air as the delinquents walked over to where Jasper stood pouring drinks for people. Aleta rolled her eyes, a small smile playing on her lips as she watched the eager campers.

The brunette's eyes swept over the campers until they landed on Raven. The two had talked and sort of made up. Aleta didn't like holding grudges and she and Raven had been friends for way too long to not forgive her after she had apologized relentlessly. Aleta still didn't like what she had done, but it was in the past and they had to move forward now.

Aleta made her way over to the girl and stood next to her, crossing her arms over her chest. "You gonna get some of that 'Unity Juice'?" Raven questioned with a small smirk. Aleta looked down at the slightly shorter girl and rolled her eyes.

"I think I'll pass," she responded. Raven nudged her, "Awe come on! I wanna see drunk Aleta. You're very fun to be around when you're drunk." Aleta glared at the girl whose smirk turned into a grin. "That was one time," Aleta deadpanned and Raven scoffed. "Oh really, because I can name a number of times that you've gotten drunk. Underage drinking is illegal on The Ark, you know," Raven said.

"That didn't stop you now did it? And besides, anytime I got drunk it was because of you. Or Sarai. And I haven't gotten drunk that many times on The Ark," Aleta defended. "I know, I was just joking. But the few times that you were drunk, you got pretty wild," Raven said, raising her eyebrows suggestively.

"I have never gotten drunk to the point where I would do anything crazy," the dark haired girl said. Raven chuckled, "You have but you don't remember." Aleta's blue eyes glared into Raven's brown ones again and the shorter girl chuckles. "Relax, Leti. I'm just stating facts," Raven defended. "You know, I'm surprised your parents never found you drunk. They're literally always in your business," Raven added as an after thought.

"With parents like mine, you learn to hide things well," Aleta replied. Raven gave her a disbelieving look and Aleta gave her a look of offense. "What? I can be rebellious!" She exclaimed. Raven laughed loudly, drawing the attention of a few teenagers who looked away after a moment. "Please, Freya is more rebellious than you are and Freya acts like a princess," she said.

"And besides, drinking alcohol that Sarai stole does not make you a rebel. Just an idiot," Raven said. She patted Aleta on the shoulder and walked away from the girl who scowled at her retreating figure.

"That's not a good look on you," Elijah said as he approached. The boy stood in front of his friend with a frown in his face. Aleta narrowed her eyes at him and looked away and at the people in the camp. "Have you seen Clarke? I can't find her," Aleta said, turning her attention back to the boy. "Nope, I haven't seen her. She's probably with Finn. As usual," Elijah responded, a look of disgust on his face.

"Yeah, you're probably right. You would think that after all this time apart, she would want to spend some time with her best friends. Not some stupid boy she hardly knows," Aleta snapped. Elijah nodded his head in agreement, his expression turning cold. "It's absolutely ridiculous if you ask me," he grumbled.

Elijah released a long breath and smiled. "It's Unity Day, are you finally gonna celebrate?" He asked. "No, I'll just find something else to do," she answered. "Don't be such a prude. This is our first Unity Day on the ground! So, let's go drink some of Monty's moonshine and have some fun," Elijah said, pumping his fists in the air enthusiastically.

"I think I'll pass," Aleta denied. "Oh come on! Raven tells me that you're fun when you're drunk. I wanna see drunk Aleta," he complained. "When did she tell you this?" She asked. "Does it matter? Come on. Have some fun with me. You're finally free from your parents and you can do whatever you want, for the time being. They come down in two days. You gotta live it up before they come and ruin everything," Elijah said, a hopeful smile dancing across his lips.

Aleta placed a finger under her chin and thought for a moment. "Maybe I'll have one drink. But you will not see drunk Aleta. Not now, or ever."

••••

By the time night had fallen, the entire camp was full on partying. Drunk teenagers stumbled around outside, a few dangerously close to the blazing fire. A drunk Elijah danced around in his spot, his hands in Aleta's as he swung their arms around.

The boy cheered loudly and Aleta laughed quietly. She was not drunk. Not yet anyway. Buzzed would be a better way to describe how she was feeling. The girl had three cups of Monty's moonshine and she knew that she would regret it in the morning. But honestly, she didn't care.

"You're such an amazing dancer!" Elijah exclaimed, stumbling over his words. "Why thank you. I try," Aleta responded with a giggle. Jasper made his way over to them, two makeshift cups in his hands. "Here you go, more Unity Juice!" He exclaimed as he held the cups out to the two.

"No thanks, Jasper. I think we've had enough," Aleta denied. "Nonsense, we're just getting started," Elijah slurred, taking the cups from the other boy's hands. He shoved one of the cups in Aleta's hand and drank the alcoholic beverage from the one remaining in his own hand. "Aleta, drink the moonshine. This might be the last time you'll be able to before the council comes down," Jasper pointed out.

Aleta handed the cup back to the long-haired boy and smiled. "No thanks. I think I'm done drinking for the night," she replied, her words running together slightly. Elijah shrugged, "More for me!" He took the cup from Jasper's hand and drank all of the liquid that was in it. Aleta shook her head and looked around the camp. "I'm gonna go find Raven and Clarke, do you wanna come with?" She asked Elijah.

"No. I wanna dance!" He said with a small pout before his arms swung around and over his head. He wiggled his body in awkward motions and began hollering. "Maybe you should get some sleep," Aleta suggested. "Maybe you should get some sleep," Elijah retorted. Aleta sighed in annoyance and pinched the bridge of her nose. "I'm gonna find Raven. Don't move!" She commanded.

She turned on her heels and began walking in the opposite direction of the two boys. "I have to move! Otherwise it wouldn't be dancing!" Elijah slurred before laughing hysterically and continuing to dance. The girl shook her head and chuckled slightly. She began making her way throughout the camp in search for the brunette girl.

She found her fairly easily and made her way over. "Raven!" She squealed. The brunette in question turned her head around upon hearing her name, seeing Aleta approach. "You're drunk," she pointed out with a shit-eating grin. "That moonshine is strong," she dragged out the word strong and Raven chuckled. Aleta wrapped an arm around the brunette's shoulder.

"I forgot why I came to find you," Aleta muttered, causing Raven to laugh again. "Ooo, but do you wanna hear a secret?" She questioned. Raven turned to her, an eyebrow raised. "Sharing drunk secrets are we? Well, share away," she said and Aleta laughed before leaning in. "I think you're very pretty," she whispered. Raven laughed at her words and shook her head. "Thank—"

"You know, I used to have a crush on you," Aleta abruptly interrupted. Raven froze, smile faltering slightly. "W-what?" She whispered. "Just a tiny one. But then she started liking Finn so I had to get over it. But it's cool because Raven and I are still friends and I'm glad," Aleta went on, completely forgetting that she was, in fact, taking to Raven.

"You liked me?" Raven repeated. Aleta pressed a finger to the brunette's lips and shushed her. "Don't tell Raven," she said before laughing again. Raven let out a forced laugh as Aleta's attention shifted. The dark haired girl gasped. "I have to go find, Clarke. Talk to you later," Aleta informed, running away from Raven before she could utter a word.

Aleta then stumbled over her feet but quickly caught herself before she could fall. She let out another laugh and slowed to a walk.

"You okay there?" A voice, that was starting to annoy Aleta, questioned in amusement. She turned her head to the side and glared at Bellamy. "Just peachy! Thanks," she said sarcastically. "All right, I just thought I'd ask. No need to get all sarcastic," he replied, holding his hands up in surrender. A smirk was plastered on his face and it made Aleta want to slap him and kiss him at the same time.

"You are so annoying," Aleta commented, her words slurring as she tried to compose herself and began looking for her blonde friend. Bellamy stepped in front of her and raised his eyebrows. "Are you drunk?" he asked, amusement still evident in his tone. "No, I'm not drunk. Now, if you'll excuse me," she denied, moving around the boy and beginning to walk forward. She tripped again and Bellamy took ahold of her upper arms before she could faceplant.

"You sure you're not drunk, Clumsy?" He asked, the amusement no longer in his tone. "I'm just naturally clumsy. Trust me, if I were drunk I'd be a lot more fun because apparently I'm fun when I'm drunk," Aleta replied. His face scrunched up in confusion. "You've been drunk before?" He questioned. Aleta sighed in frustration, "Look dude, I don't have time to talk. I'm on a mission." She pulled her arms from his grip and gave him a look.

His amusement returned and a smirk was on his lips. "What kind of mission?" Bellamy asked, playing along with her obviously drunk antics. "I'm on the hunt for a girl named Clarke. I've got a bone to pick with her," Aleta whispered. Her mind was becoming hazier by the minute and she was starting to sound like someone who was a lot more than just buzzed. Okay, maybe I am drunk.

Bellamy chuckled, "Why are you whispering?" Aleta took ahold of his forearm and pulled him closer to her face. "Because, it's a top secret mission that no one can know about," she answered in a whisper. Bellamy laughed at the girl who frowned slightly. "You sound ridiculous," he said. "You're just jealous because I'm on a mission and you're not," the girl retorted.

He rolled his eyes at her as she pouted. "I think you should call it a night and go to bed," Bellamy suggested and she shook her head frantically. "No can do, mister. I need to talk to Clarke," she said. Bellamy sighed, "You can talk to her in the morning." Aleta shook her head again and he nodded his. "What's over there?" Aleta exclaimed as she pointed to something behind him. Bellamy turned his head to look and as soon as he did, Aleta took off, running away from him.

She laughed maniacally as she did so and her head whipped in many directions as she searched for the blonde. Her eyes landed on a head of blonde hair and she rushed over to the person, hoping that it was the blonde she was looking for. "Clarke!" She called and Clarke turned around just in time for Aleta to throw herself into the blonde's arms. "I've been looking for you!" Aleta squealed.

Clarke pulled away from Aleta with a confused smile. "Have you been drinking Monty's moonshine?" The blonde questioned. "I didn't drink that much. That stuff is really strong. And disgusting," she said. Clarke chuckled and Aleta looked behind her. "Ooh, are you playing a game?" She asked to which Clarke nods. "I wanna play!" Aleta exclaimed.

The two turned their attention to the game and Clarke readied herself to continue it. In front of the girls was a boy, whose name was Sterling, and next to Aleta was Fox. Clarke picked up a circular piece of metal, that looked like a coin, and held it up. "All right. You ready?" She said as she looked around the table. Aleta nodded with an excited smile. Clarke proceeded to place the object onto her nose and tried to balance it. "Oh. No. Wait. I have done this before, I promise," she added.

The blonde tilted her head forward and attempted to get the piece of metal into the makeshift cup on the table. Finn Collins caught the object before it could even get into the cup. "Dude! What the hell?" Aleta said to the brunet boy. Clarke looked at the boy in confusion and annoyance. "What is it?" She questioned.

"Let's take a walk," Finn said, ignoring the blonde's question. "We're playing a game. Why don't you take a walk with your girlfriend?" Aleta asked the boy who gave her a look. "It was just a question," she muttered and Fox tried to hide her smile. "Sorry," Clarke said to Sterling and Fox as she began to walk toward Finn. "Uh, you too Aleta," Finn added. Aleta groaned and followed behind Clarke.

Finn tossed the metal object into the cup and joined the girls. "Did something happen?" The blonde asked Finn as the three walked away from the table. "I need you two to come with me, but I can't tell you why, okay?" Finn said. Aleta scrunched up her face. "Finn, tell us why," Clarke replied and Aleta nodded. The boy took ahold of both girls' arms and attempted to pull them forward. "Hey. Don't," Clarke protested and he nodded, releasing their arms.

An awkward tension filled the air and Aleta rocked back and forth on her heels, in a daze. "I set up a meeting with the grounders," Finn admitted. This snapped Aleta out of her daze and she looked at him. "A meeting?" She questioned. "I don't understand. With who? How?" Clarke asked. "I was just with the grounder that we had in the dropship. His name is Lincoln," he said.

"So he could understand me," Aleta stated. "Wait a second. He spoke to you?" Clarke asked. "It's not important," Finn said. Aleta tunes out of the conversation and looked at her hands. Hands are so weird, she thought. "Aleta, come on," Clarke urged. The blonde took her hand and pulled her in the opposite direction of Finn. "Where are we going?" The brunette questioned.

Clarke sighed, "To find Bellamy."
