"What's happening?" Peter asked when he finally got to Stephen.

"They're starting to come through, and I can't stop them," Stephen replied, grunting as he tried to stop the other individuals from coming in.

"There's got to be something we can do. Can't you just cast a spell again?" Peter suggested. "Like the original way. Before I screwed it up."

Stephen shook his head. "We're too late for that. They're here." He looked down at Peter. "They're here because of you."

Peter looked down as he took a moment to think. An idea popped into his mind which would surely solve the multiverse problem. "What if everyone forgot who I was?"

Stephen snapped his head at Peter. "What?"

"They're coming here because of me, right?" Peter asked. "Because I'm Peter Parker? So cast a new spell. But this time, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is." Peter exhaled shakily. "Make everyone forget... me."

Stephen shook his head. "No."

"But it would work, right?"

"Yeah, it would work," Stephen replied. "But you got to understand, that would mean everyone, who knows and loves you... we'd... we'd have no memory of you. It'll be as though you never existed." He explained.

Peter gulped before nodding. "I know." He told Stephen. "Do it."

Stephen was hesitant. Although he did not know the boy for so long, he grew attached to him. He could see why Tony was attached to him back at space. Stephen glanced down at you before sighing deeply. "Then go and say your goodbyes. You don't have long."

Peter nods at him. "Thank you, sir."

Peter was about to leave, but Stephen rolled his eyes with a smile. "Call me Stephen." Peter stared at Stephen before smiling. "Thank you, Stephen."

Stephen smiled back, chuckling. "Yeah... still feels weird." Peter chuckled back. "I'll see you around." Peter farewelled before jumping down. Stephen shakily took a deep breath. "So long, kid."

Stephen began casting a new spell while Peter approached his variants with the older Peter's (TM) arm hanging around the other Peter's (AG) shoulders for support. "I think this is it. I think you're about to go home." He told his two other versions.

"Okay."

"Alright."

Peter wiped his nose and cheeks. "Um, look, I... uhh... thank you." Peter began to stutter. "I just wanted... I-I want you toโ€”I wanna tell you that... I really don't know how to say this, like..."

"Peter." The other Peter (AG) tried to calm Peter down.

"I want you to know that I..."

"We know." The older Peter (TM) spoke up. "It's what we do."

Peter smiled. "Yeah. It's what we do." He hesitated to leave. "Um, right. I-I gotta find (Y/n), Ned, and MJ." Peter couldn't resist himself and quickly rushed towards the other Peters to hug them both. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!"

The two Peters hugged him in return before Peter pulled away. "I guess I'll see you."

"Keep safe."

"Bye."

Peter swung away, leaving his two variants by the bay. The older Peter (TM) sighed in content while the other Peter (AG) frowned. "You're in so much pain, huh?"

The older Peter (TM) nodded with a groan. "I am."

"Yeah."

You watched as Peter jumped down in front of you, Michelle, and Ned. The three of you rushed towards him and embraced him. "Are you okay?" Peter asked the three of you.

Michelle nodded as she and Ned pulled away. "Yeah, we're okay."

Peter pulled away from you when he noticed a few drops of your blood on his hand. "Oh, my God." He gasped as he checked on your back. "You're bleeding."

You softly chuckled and cupped his cheek. "No. I'm okay. I'll... manage."

"But you're losing too much blood, are you sure?"

You smiled at him. "I'm fine. I promise."

"We should go, right?" Michelle asked, glancing up at the sky with symbols around. You stepped away a bit until you felt dizzy, and you almost fell. Peter caught you and set you down on the ground while Michelle and Ned crouched down on your other side. "(Y/n)..."

"I'm fine." You breathed out. "But... I'm feeling a bit... sleepy and tired."

"No, no, no." Peter shook his head. "You have to stay awake. MJ and Ned will still have to get you to the hospital."

Michelle and Ned glanced at each other before looking back at Peter. "Us? Why only us? What about you?"

Peter glanced up as Stephen was completing the spell. He looked back at you and his friends. "Y-You're... you're gonna forget who I am."

You furrowed your eyebrows while Ned shook his head in confusion. "What?"

"Peter, what are you talking about?" You asked sternly.

Peter took a deep breath. "It's okay..." He reassured as he brushed your hair away from your face. "I'm gonna come and find you, and I'll explain everything. I'll make you remember me. It'll be like none of this ever happened. Okay?"

"Okay, but what if that doesn't work?" Michelle asked worriedly. "Wh-What if that doesn't work, what if we can't remember you?"

You shook your head as tears formed in your eyes. "I don't wanna..." You told Peter. "I don't wanna do that."

"I know. (Y/n), I know."

You sat up as you grabbed his hands, trying your best to ignore the pain in your back. "Wh-Wha... there's gotta be something we can do. We can come up with, like, a plan or something?" You urged. "There's always something we can do."

Peter shook his head. "There's nothing we can do." He replied. "But we'll be okay.

You shook his head, not prepared to forget him. "Peter, you promised that you will run your plans to us next time before deciding." Peter held your hand as you began to cry. "I don't want to forget you, Peter. I don't want to lose any memories of you."

"I know, (Y/n)." Peter leaned his forehead to yours. "I promise I'll find you, my Lily. I'll find all of you."

You softly gasped from the nickname he gave you. You closed your eyes and leaned closer to him.

"You promise?" Ned asked as tears welled up in his eyes.

Peter turned to his best friend, and it broke him to see how upset Ned was. He didn't want to lose his best friend, but he knew this was the only way, so he nodded. "Yeah, I promise." You and Michelle watched as Peter and Ned did their one last handshake before embracing each other. "I'll come find you, okay?"

Ned began to sob. "I know you will." He choked out.

Michelle quickly wiped a tear from her eyes before looking away to hide her tears. Peter turned to her and sadly smiled. "MJ..."

"You better," Michelle told Peter as she turned around, tear slipping from the corner of her eye. "If you don't, I'm just gonna figure it out. I did before, and I could do it again."

Peter stifled a laugh. "I know you can." Michelle hesitated but leaned in to hug him, the second time she ever showed affection to Peter. She quietly sobbed. "You're one of the best friends I got, Peter. And promise me one thing."

"Hm?"

"Make sure to find (Y/n) first. I swear to God I'll kill you even if I won't remember you."

Peter nodded before pulling away. "I will." Michelle stood next to Ned, and Peter turned his attention back to you. You were covering your face with your hands as you cried, so Peter sat closer to you and removed your hands to see your face. "I promise I'll fix this."

You looked down, unable to stare directly at Peter's eyes. Peter raised your chin up to look at you, and you felt at ease when you were able to see his eyes again. His rage and hatred had finally fueled down. "I really hate magic." You frowned.

Peter smiled. "Yeah. Me, too."

"It used to be fun."

"I know."

"And now magic's the reason why I'm going to forget you." You croaked out. "I really don't want to forget you, Peter."

Peter leaned in and kissed your forehead. "I swear I will find you." You moved away before grabbing his face and kissing him passionately. Peter did not hesitate and kiss you back, knowing this will be the last time he would ever kiss you again with your memories of him still in your brain.

Peter swore it felt like yesterday when he wondered when he'd ever get the chance to kiss your lips. Your arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer with all your strength.

"Beautiful."

"Yeah. Venice is indeed beautiful."

"I-I meant you."

Peter didn't mind as he now wondered if he'll ever get another chance to feel your lips after unleashing the new spell.

"Did you kiss me?"

"I've been wanting to do that for so long. I like you, Peter. I like you... a lot. For like, a really long time."

"I... I like you too, (Y/n). If you ever feel down or miserable, I'll be here."

Peter pulled away as he leaned his forehead again to yours. He wanted to lean in and kiss you once more. He fought his tears back from falling. The cured villains were sent back to their own universe, including Peter's variants. You softly exhaled before limping down, but Peter kept you up. "(Y/n)? Talk to me?"

You were losing too much blood from the claw marks, but you forced yourself to look at Peter. You took your hair tie away from your hair and gave it to Peter. "Keep it."

"(Y/n)..."

"Take it as a souvenir from me." You weakly smiled. "I love you." You breathed out. "I'll find you even if I won't remember because I love you so much, Peter Parker."

Peter stared at you for a moment before cracking a sad smile. "I love yโ€”"

"Just wait." You interrupted while smiling. "Wait and tell me if you see me again."

"Sure." Peter nodded and leaned his head against yours again, holding you delicately. "Stay alive for me until I find you, okay?"

You weakly nod, your eyelids threatening to close from exhaustion. Michelle and Ned went to your side and walked away. You watched Peter as he looked up to Stephen, who gave him a nod as a signal.

Peter looked at you one last time, and through your hooded eyes, you smiled at him. "I love you." You mouthed. Peter smiled before jumping and swinging away. You closed your eyes, your head leaned on Michelle's shoulder, and you let out a long exhale. Michelle looked at you in worry when you stopped moving. "(Y/n)? (Y/n)?"

Stephen unleashed the spell, erasing everyone's memories of Peter Parker.

ยฐโ€ขโ—‹โ€ขโ—‹โ€ขยฐ

"You're really eager to see me again, huh?" You heard your father's voice. You squinted your eyes to see anything from the bright light. "Dad?"

"The one and only." You finally saw your father with his arms stretched out. "What? You're not going to give your old man a big hug?"

You rushed towards him and embraced him tightly, pressing your face to his chest. "I've missed you so much."

"Me too, peanut." Tony chuckled and pulled away, cupping your cheek. "You look older now from the last time I saw you."

You stifled a laugh and quickly wiped down a tear that escaped in the corner of your eye. "A lot has happened since you... well..."

"I know." Tony sighed. "You and your friends have been through enough. But, peanut, it isn't your time yet."

"Then what am I doing here?"

"Think of this as a visit." Tony smiled as he patted your shoulder. "A dangerous visit if you ask me because you could easily get into the light and leave your friends and family."

You looked away. "What if I just stay here with you? I... I don't want to go back, forget Peter, and move on with my life as if nothing happened, dad."

Tony sighed as he hooked his arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer. "You still have so much to live for, (Y/n)." You looked at him as he continued talking. "You know, dying shortly could be an advantage and has its perks. Maybe you wouldn't forget about him completely?"

"But Doctor Strangeโ€”"

"I'll haunt that wizard's ass if I have to. You promised Peter to find him and remember him, and the (Y/n) I know doesn't break any promises." Tony took a moment to stare at you, and his smile grew bigger. "I am so proud of you, (Y/n). Never forget that." He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. "I'm sorry for the actions I've done that had caused you pain and suffering. Know that I've done them to try and protect you from something dangerous."

You looked up at him and smiled. "I love you, dad."

"I love you too, angel. Now, open your eyes."

Your eyes fluttered open, and you woke up in an unfamiliar environment. White ceilings and walls. You were unsure if you were still dead or placed in purgatory. You looked to your side to see Pepper standing up with Morgan on her side. "Oh, thank God!" She gasped as she placed a kiss on top of your forehead. Morgan climbed up on your bed and hugged you. "I missed you so much, (Y/n)."

You smiled and patted her head. "Missed you too, sis." You looked up to your mother. "Where am I?"

"Your friends were able to get you to this hospital, sweetie." Pepper stated. "You were bleeding badly, and we almost lost you."

Morgan hugged you tighter, never wanting to leave your side. "I was scared."

You slowly sat up, hissing in pain from the pain at your back. "Sorry for scaring you, baby." You picked her up and sat her down closer to you to hug her. "It won't happen again, I promise."

Pepper smiled and pointed to the door. "Harley came to visit. I'll call him in and tell you're okay." You nodded and placed Morgan down on the ground so she could follow outside. You sighed heavily and slumped back down at your pillow. You opened the television and saw Jameson reporting. "It's been a few weeks since the fiasco on the Statue of Liberty, and Spider-Man's cultists continue to contend that the vile vigilante is a hero."

You crossed your arms as you continued to listen. "But if he were a hero, he'd unmask himself and tell us who he really is," Jameson exclaimed. "Because only a coward conceals his identity. Only a coward hides his true intentions. Rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, that this reporter will uncover those intentions..."

You scoffed. "It's for protection and safety, idiot. To protect himself and the people around him from the dangers he faces. Of course, Jameson wouldn't really know that, would he?"

You grabbed your phone by the bedside drawer only to grab a different object that caught your attention. You turned your head to the side to see a lily necklace with a broken chain. 'Hmm... MJ must have left my necklace here.'

You took your phone out and began messaging Michelle and Ned.

(Y/n):
I'm coming over to the shop.

Ned:
You're awake!

MJ:
Get in here right now. I'm giving you a free cookie and donut. You deserve it.

Ned:
What about me?

MJ:
Maybe next time.

MJ:
I'm kidding. Of course, I'm giving you a free donut too.

ยฐโ€ขโ—‹โ€ขโ—‹โ€ขยฐ

You walked your way to Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop to visit Michelle and Ned and heard music booming out from the speakers. Instead of a Christmas song, you heard the song We'll Meet Again by Vera Lynn and Arthur Young.

"We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day..."

You passed by a young man you heard repeating his lines repeatedly. 'Hm. Must be rehearsing to an audition.'

"Hi. My name is Peter Parker." You heard the young man nervously say from behind you. "You don't know me, but I... uhh..."

You glanced behind you to see the young man continuing to rehearse his lines with a piece of paper in hand. "My name is Peter Parker, and you don't know me, but y-youโ€”" The young man stopped walking as he came face to face with you. You were already holding out the door of the shop but couldn't get inside as you stared at the young man.

You pressed your lips together and opened the door wider. "Um, are you coming in or...?"

"O-Oh! Right, right." The young man cleared his throat and entered the shop. You followed behind before sitting down on one of the chairs. Michelle turned around and spotted you. "(Y/n)!" She gasped before leaning in to hug you despite being blocked by the counter. "Thank God, I thought we were going to lose you!"

The young man, Peter Parker, furrowed his eyes in confusion while you stifled a laugh. "I'm not leaving anyone here until it's time."

"You scared us, y'know. At least you got revived."

Peter's heart dropped, and his smile faltered as soon as he heard Michelle's words. You rested your cheek on your palm until you heard someone coming into the shop. You and Michelle turned your heads to the side to see Ned, but you noticed Peter. Peter let an inaudible sigh when he realized that his friends had fully forgotten him.

Ned sat down beside you and gave you a small hug. "So glad you're back!"

You chuckled and hugged him back. "Thanks, Ned."

"Random question, (Y/n)."

"Shoot."

"My Lola told me that I may be magic, right?"

"Mhm."

"What if you have magic too? Like what if everyone has a little magic inside them?" Ned shrugged. "I mean, your birth mother used to tell you about witches, right? Maybe she's telling you that you also have magic inside you."

You chuckled. "That's a nice thought, Ned."

Michelle turned her attention to Peter, still standing at the doorway. "Can I help you?"

Ned began scrolling down on his phone while you watched the interaction between Michelle and the young man. "Hi, um... my name is Peter Parker. And I..." Peter glanced at you before sighing heavily. "...would like a coffee. Please."

Michelle smiled awkwardly and slowly nodded. "Okay, no problem, Peter Parker." She stifled a laugh.

You raised your eyebrows in surprise. 'Oh, so his name really is Peter Parker.' You thought for a moment. 'Peter... Parker...'

Michelle brought some donuts for Ned and cookies for you. "Donuts for my fellow engineers."

"Wait, what?" Ned asked, causing Peter to look up from his paper.

"MIT, they have the engineers. The mascot."

"Oh, right, right, right." Ned nod. "I should probably know that."

"Look at you with the school spirit." You grinned while taking a bite on your cookie, causing Michelle to chuckle. "Tell anybody I will deny it." She replied before pouring down coffee for Peter.

Peter smiled and remembered his efforts to get all four of you into the same university to stay in touch. However, since the world has now forgotten who Peter Parker is, he won't be able to get into MIT, nor could he stay in touch with you and his friends as you have no memories of him.

"Peter Parker?" Michelle called out to a zoning Peter. "Peter Parker?" She repeated once again, and that earned the young man's attention. "Your coffee."

Peter softly gasped and took the coffee, paying for it. "Right. Thank you."

Michelle glanced at the seats. "Do you want to take a seat or...?"

Peter thought for a moment. "Just for a second, yes, please." Peter sat just one chair away from you, and Michelle began talking to Ned. You continued eating your cookie while Peter sipped his coffee. It wasn't noticeable, but his heart was pounding from nervousness. 'It's now or never, Parker.'

"Are you excited for MIT?" Peter asked you, causing you to slightly cough. "Oh, you're talking to me."

Peter nodded. "Mhm."

You nodded back. "Um, yeah. Yeah, actually, I am excited." You admitted, giving him a sweet smile. "How about you? Are you going to MIT too?"

Peter shook his head. "Um, no." Peter glimpsed at the corner of your lips and found cookie crumbs. "You have, um..."

You quickly wiped the mess away and chuckled. "Thanks. I get messy if I'm eating cookies."

"It's okay."

An awkward silence filled the air except for Michelle and Ned's chattering and soft laughter. Peter tapped his fingers to his warm cup until he noticed your lily necklace. His heart skipped a beat, and his eyes landed on the band-aid placed on the side of your head. Peter's smile disappeared as Green Goblin's words echoed at the back of his head.

"You couldn't even protect her. You couldn't keep her safe. You couldn't protect the two women that you cherish so much from me. Such a miserable soul you are, Parker."

"Hello?" Peter snapped back to reality when he heard your voice calling out to him. "You zoned out there, mister."

"S-Sorry." Peter pointed his finger at your band-aid. "You okay?"

You lightly touched the band-aid and smiled at him. "Doesn't really hurt anymore." You pointed your back. "My back, however, is still painful."

"Was it fatal?"

You nod. "Fatal enough to see my father briefly."

"Were you tempted? To leave and be with him?"

The corner of your lips curved up. "As much as I want to be with him again, he was right." You told him. "I still have so much to live for." You stared at him for a moment. 'Peter Parker...'

Peter nodded in understanding before clearing his throat and standing up. "I-I'm gonna go. It's nice talking to you, um..."

"(Y/n)." You introduced.

"(Y/n)," Peter repeated and smiled. "I'll see you when I see you." Peter walked towards the door with his coffee in hand, glancing at you, Michelle, and Ned. You watched as Peter left and stared at where he went, hesitating to come after him until you saw a glimpse of a familiar hair tie on his wrist. 'Huh...'

Peter was just a few feet away from the shop until he heard the door opening. "Peter!" He turned around to see you panting heavily. Peter hoped for a moment, a moment that maybe you didn't completely forget about him. You walked towards him. "You're Peter, right?"

"Uh-huh."

You stretched your arm out and handed him his paper. "It fell from your pocket." Peter stared at the piece of paper for a moment before taking it. "Oh, thank you."

"See you around, love." You unknowingly blurted out the last word and gave him one last smile before returning back inside the donut shop. You stopped once you entered the shop. "Love?" You looked back outside as the stranger's name echoed in your brain. 'Peter Parker, Peter Parker...'

Peter froze on his spot, the nickname echoing on his mind. 'Does she... remember or...?' Peter shook his head. "No, that can't be right." He mumbled.

ยฐโ€ขโ—‹โ€ขโ—‹โ€ขยฐ

After visiting May's grave and meeting Happy Hogan, Peter had managed to rent a cheap apartment and moved in there. "Rent is due on the first of the month. Don't be late." The landlord told Peter.

Peter switched the light on with a box of his belongings inside a box he was carrying. The apartment looked decent enough, and it brought a small smile to his face. It wasn't much, but it was good for him. Peter began moving more of his boxes inside the apartment and settling in.

He had kept the LEGO mini-figure of Emperor Palpatine from the Death Star set that he and Ned used to build together. Peter took out his borrowed GED textbook and placed it on his desk before placing some pictures around. He stopped and found a photo of you with him back in Europe. Just as he took the picture out, a paper slipped down by his foot.

Peter tilted his head in wonder and saw his name. "To my favorite spider." He read out softly. He grabbed it and opened the paper, realizing it was a letter from you.

Dear Peter,

โ €โ €โ €โ € I wanted to call you a nickname, but I realized we still haven't made one for each other. I wanted to write this letter to you in case of anything bad was about to happen after you help and cure those bad guys from the other universes. Can you believe how far our relationship has gotten and become?

โ €โ €โ €โ € It's easy to feel hopeful on a day like today because I know your plan will work. I just hope that you won't lose your hope when the dark days and times will come ahead of you. Keep your hope alive even if you feel all alone. No matter how deep it gets, how lost you feel, or even if we fail in this plan, promise me that you will hold on to hope.

โ €โ €โ €โ € If anything bad occurs or an untimely death happens, I want you to know how proud of what you have accomplished, and I will support you in any decision you have to make. I just hope that it wouldn't affect us both in the future. My old man once said that part of the journey is the end. But for us? I know it's just beginning. Even if we don't get to have our happy ending, I know in my heart we'll have each other.

โ €โ €โ €โ € I know this letter feels like I'm saying goodbye, but no. This letter is a reminder to keep on going and never give up. I know how strong you are, Peter, and I believe in you. And I love you for who you are and what you believe in.

I love you 3000.

Love,
(Y/n)

Peter glanced down at his Spider-Man mask and folded your letter again before taking out his sewing machine to create a new Spider-Man suit inspired by his original Stark suit and from his counterparts. While finishing the suit, Peter heard the Police Radio Frequency on his phone, notifying him of an ongoing crime.

Peter suited up and jumped out of his front window, swinging towards the ongoing crime. Peter Parker was liberated from balancing his two lives and continued to become a responsible hero as Spider-Man.

This is the longest chapter of this book. So yeah, that's the end! I am still unsure whether to continue this story but on a different book. We'll see.
