It's been two days since VarJeet got out from the coma and have met Karan. In these two days filled with happiness, memories and emotions, one thing was there which didn't go unnoticed by them, Monami being always there by Karan's side. Whenever he used to get emotional reminiscing some or the other painful memory of his past, Monami would always be there secretly holding his hand or caressing it.

MoRan thought that they can fool a very experienced couple and this time, Special Agent Karan Shergill & Cadet Dr. Monami Mahajan were wrong!

Varsha & Ranjeet always doubted and wondered about Monami & what's her relationship with Karan. But as MoRan decided to not to shock VarJeet now, as they're brain is still weak to handle such big shocks, MoRan maintained some distance in front of Varsha & Ranjeet but were failing miserably. Their eye talks were exposed to the world, man!

In these two days, Dr. Mahajan who used to come to the hospital everyday just to ensure that there's a safe distance between Karan & Monami, saw a very new side of Karan. Last time when Dr. Mahajan & Karan came face to face, all they had were grudges, tension and tashan. But this time, Dr. Mahajan saw Karan smiling with all his heart making Dr. Mahajan feel peaceful. Unknowingly, Dr. Mahajan started to have a soft corner for Karan in heart. One day while Karan was having a sweet conversation with his parents, Dr. Mahajan overhead Varsha's words.

Varsha - Karan, I'm extremely proud of you! Bachpan se jawaani tak bina maa-baap ke bada hona ek bahot badi baat hai, beta. Aisi situations mein to bache galat rah par chalne lagte hain, lekin ek fauji bankar tune humari naak unchi kardi hai!

The conversation and praising went on, while Dr. Mahajan couldn't stop thinking about what all Karan suffered. But Sadu Mahajan being Sadu, denies admitting the truth.

Today, Monami has called Param, Barkha, Faizi & Sid from the academy to Mahajan hospital, as it's Sunday as well and told them about everything except VarJeet. The guests from the academy were finally there. They were standing outside the 'upgraded fully facilitated' general ward where VarJeet have been shifted.

Param (quite angrily)- Pata nahi ye Monami aur Karan ke dimaag mein kya chal raha hai? Itni der se yaha bula rakha hai, aur khud gayab hain dono!

Barkha - Relax Param, jab Monami ne kaha hai ki koi serious issue nahi hai to nahi hi hoga!

Param (whispering to her) - Haan tum to bus mujhe hi daanto!

Barkha sighed on her Cutie Param's baby like rants which she missed a lot when he wantingly planned his demise, hurting his loved ones. Before Barkha could say anything, the door of the ward opened wide. MoRan were nowhere seen but there were two people sitting on the bed looking at whom everyone teared up, especially Param.

Dhundhla jaayein jo manzilein
Ik pal ko tu nazar jhuka
Jhuk jaayein sar jahan wahin
Milta hai rab ka raasta

Without having a second thought, Param jumped on his parents, hiding them in his arms and while sobbing hard. For a few minutes, Param stayed like this, and all hugged the trio. Monami & Karan were observing everything from a corner with teary eyes and happy smiles. Varsha & Ranjeet too hugged him back tightly as being away from their child is definitely not easy for any parent.

Param (whining like a kid) - Papa! Mummy!

Ranjeet - Param, ek bachi ka baap ban gaya hai tu, ab to bacho ki tarah rona chhod de!

All including MoRan looked at them with a jolt and with eyes widened in confusion.

Faizi - Aapko kaise??

Varsha - Hum to ye bhi jante hain ki tumhara naam Faizi hai aur tum Param aur Karan ke bhai jaise ho!

Ranjeet - Aur jab unke bhai ho, to humare lage bete!

Faizi smiled widely having a glimpse of his deceased Abbu in Ranjeet. Faizi just nodded in agreement with a wide smile plastered & eyes glistening with tears.

Varsha - Param-Karan, hum log pichhle 5 saal se coma mein hain, magar usse pehle secret agents thhe. We were fighting for the nation! But uss beech hume sab pata hai kya hua!

Ranjeet (slightly confused & happy) - Lekin Param, teri to shaheed hone ki news aa gayi thi na. To fir tu...?

Karan (coming to the front being overexcited) - Main batata hoon na papa. Bhaiya was also faking his death & he was kept as a captive! But fir baad mein, humari team ne unhe rescue karliya. Aur mumma pata hai, Rani Sahiba performed incredibly!

Tere saathi, mere kadmon ke hain nishaan

Monami blushed slightly on his praisings while VarJeet & Dr. Mahajan who was listening to them secretly scrunched their eyebrows in confusion. While the rest kept staring at them in a teasing manner.

VarJeet - Kaun 'Rani Sahiba'??

Dr. Mahajan (in mind) - Haan, Kaun 'Rani Sahiba'??

Karan got extremely awkward as he addressed Monami as Rani Sahiba in over excitement. Monami mentally slapped her forehead while others except Dr. Mahajan decided to tease the fellow couple.

Param (teasingly) - Bata na, Karan. Kaun Rani Sahiba?!

Karan (changing the topic) - Arre aap vo chhodiye aur inse miliye!

Saying so, he brought Barkha forward and she immediately touched VarJeet's feet. They too blessed her happily making her confused and shocked.

Ranjeet - Zyada shock mat ho beta, hum tumhe bhi jaante hain. Barkha, right? (She nodded) Chalo iss bewakoof (Param) ne zindagi mein pehla achha kaam kiya!

All laughed as Param pouted on his bezatii and Karan got happier that now he'll again be able to tease his brother to no limits.

Param (in his mind) - Baby ko iss duniya mein bhi to laya, uska kuchh nahi?!

Varsha - Arre lekin, meri poti kaha hai? Main uske baare mein bhi jaanti hoon, bilkul bahu par gayi hai. Vaise, achha hi hai!

Now again the room filled with another round of laughter, and all had infinite talks of the past.

Faizi - Baby to abhi ghar par hai. Lekin jab aap log theek ho jaenge, tab usse mil lijiyega.

Faizi's statement made VarJeet nod. After a while, it was time for VarJeet to have some rest after having their medicines. So, all decided to have some food in the hospital canteen, since it's already 2 pm. ParKha and SidZi were on one table and MoRan were on a separate one.

Karan - Rani Sahiba, ek baat kehni hai aapse.

Monami (smirking) - Kahiye, Agent Shergill!

Karan (holding her hands) - Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki tumhara shukriya aada kaise karu? Sirf tumhari wajah se mujhe mera sab kuchh vapis mil gaya. Param bhaiya vapis aa gaye, Bhabhi ki hasi wapis aa gayi, Baby ko uske papa ka pyaar mil gaya, fir...mumma-papa bhi mil gaye. I don't know agar tum na hoti to pata nahi main kya karta! I love you & thank you!

Monami (with a pout) - I love you bhi bol rahe ho aur thank you bhi?!

Karan - A..vo...

Monami (keeping her hand on his cheek) - Karan, kya tumhare bhaiya mere bhaiya nahi? Kya Bhabhi aur Baby ki khushi mein meri khushi nahi? Kya tumhare mumma-papa mere mumma-papa nahi? Kya main parai hoon?!

Karan (immediately) - Nahi Monami, I didn't mean that!

Monami - Karan, I love you! Jiss din tumhe apna maana tha na, uss din tumhare sukh-dukh aur family ko bhi apna maan liya tha! I'll always be with you no matter what & maine jo kiya apni family ke liye kiya, tumhari family ke liye nahi!

Karan chuckled and caressed her hand which was on his cheek. ParKha & SidZi noticed MoRan's activity from afar and felt happy seeing them.

Barkha - Param, Monami ke aane se apna Karan ki itna badal gaya hai na?

Param - So to hai Barkha, I just wish ki ye dono humesha ek dusre ke saath rahe! Aur Monami ki wajah se sirf Karan nahi hum sab ki lives mein bahot change aaya hai. Hum sabko humara sab kuchh wapis mil gaya!

Barkha & Faizi understood what he's talking about. Barkha grabbed Param's right hand from her left one and squeezed it slightly, comforting him. Sid who was listening to all the talks, smile contentedly upon witnessing how much his Monu bro's to be family loves her.

Finishing the food in a short span. Now Dr. Mahajan, ParKha, MoRan, Sid and Faizi were gathered in VarJeet's ward. Both the doctors were checking VarJeet's health report while the rest were curiously waiting for them to speak something.

Karan (slightly scared) - D..Dr. Mahajan, sab theek hi hoga na reports mein?

Dr. Mahajan (rudely) - Yaha doctor main hoon ya tum?

Karan's forehead straightened and he kept quiet after Dr. Mahajan's statement. Monami understood that looking at Karan's situation & fear, Dr. Mahajan shouldn't have been so rude to him. She looked at him and gave an apologetic look to which he nodded being fine. On a serious note, Dr. Mahajan's tone irked everyone there but decided to not to say anything.

Monami - Papa, all fine?

Dr. Mahajan (standing up from the stool) - Hm...Mr & Mrs. Shergill!

MoRan (in flow-flow) - Hmm...

Everyone's gaze averted towards MoRan as all got that by 'Mr. & Mrs. Shergill', Dr. Mahajan meant Varsha & Ranjeet. But our MoRan who are already considering eachother as their spouses subconsciously replied to Dr. Mahajan making him fume in anger. Varsha & Ranjeet too found MoRan's response very odd and glared at them in curiosity. ParKha, Sid & Faizi chuckled silently at the situation in front of them. While Monami & Karan shut their eyes tightly in embarassment and forming a hue of red on their cheeks.

Karan - A..I meant ki mumma & papa should respond.

Ignoring him, Dr. Mahajan concentrated towards Varsha & Ranjeet or senior Mr. & Mrs. Shergill. 😉

Dr. Mahajan - Mr. Ranjeet & Mrs. Varsha, aap dono ko aaj shaam tak discharge mil jaega.

Monami (jumped in happiness) - Woahh!!

Everyone looked at Monami with 'seriously' expressions as she repeated the same mistake again. She couldn't control her happiness when she heard that her to be Sasumaa and Sasurji are going to get a discharge. She hooted in happiness but as she felt everyone's gaze upon herself, she calmed down a bit and lowered her head muttering a 'sorry'.

Dr. Mahajan - (glaring at MoRan) Mr. & Mrs. Shergill, (to VarJeet) Aapko discharge to mil jaega but you need to take your medicines on time. Aur aapko ek proper diet follow karna hoga. I'll make that chart & will give it to you soon.

Dr. Mahajan was about to leave when he saw Monami & Karan happily interacting through eyes. He gritted his teeth looking at the way Karan is close to his daughter & how well he understands her.

Dr. Mahajan (without turning back) - Dr. Monami, I want you in my cabin. NOW!

Monami straightened at Deepak's order and being his junior, she had to follow his orders. Monami gave a look to Karan and walked out with her father. Sid sensed the tension in the atmosphere & decided to rescue everyone from it, definitely except his Monu bro.

Sid - Umm guys, I guess we should let UncleG & AuntyG bro have some rest. What say?

Barkha - A..haan, Sid sahi keh raha hai. Mummyji-Papaji, aap rest kijiye..hum chalte hain!

Saying so, everyone started moving out & Barkha dragged Param who wanted to stay for some more time. As everyone was about to leave, Varsha's voice was heard from the back.

Varsha - Karan, tu ruk!

Karan halted at his steps and closed his eyes shut in fear & nervousness.

In Dr. Deepak Mahajan's cabin, Monami was standing in front of her father with her head hung low. Deepak was ogling at her from the past 10 minutes, making her confused.

Monami (nervously) - P..Papa, a..apne kyu bulaya tha?

Dr. Mahajan (taunting) - Aapko Ms. Mahajan bulaya jaye ya Mrs. Shergill?!

Monami got conscious and understood that Deepak's anger & taunts are due to her and Karan's overexcitement.

Monami - V..vo sorry papa! Ga..Galti se muh se nikal gaya tha tab.

Dr. Mahajan rubbed his forehead in frustration, caused due to Monami's lies and stood up from his chair. He went to Monami and made her sit on one of the seats parallel to his. He also sat on one chair beside Monami's. As he sat, he took Monami's palm in his and caressed them lovingly. Moisture occupied in Monami's eyes as she saw a glimpse of her Softy Daddy, the way Deepak behaved before Juhi's demise.

Dr. Mahajan - Monami, I want to know this very clearly. Tumhare aur Karan ke beech aakhir kya chal raha hai??

Although I'm on a sort of preparatory break, I just want to write something the whole day. I have my exam of Chemistry on 26th, I know nothing about what to write, I've learnt nothing & here I am updating my story! I know, how dumb!
