Next morning, Nandini is doing her pooja when Manik enters the room.

Nandini turns to him with the plate of aarti forwarding him indicating him to take the aarti.

"Nandini.. I don't have any time for this right now. I am leaving.." Manik said leaving.

"Manik.." Nandini said in a strict tone.

Manik sighs. "Okay.. don't be angry.. I am taking it.." Manik takes the aarti. Nandini smiles at him and then he starts leaving again.

Nandini comes forward to hug him but Manik moves back. Nandini frowns. "What happened? Everytime you are so ready for hugs and when today I am hugging you.. You are going away.."

"If you will touch me.. you won't let me do my work.." Manik said and then bits his tongue on what he said. "I mean then you will be distracted na.. So you continue, I'm leaving right now.." And he leaves from the room leaving a confused Nandini behind.

It's Raksha Bandhan today. Everyone are in the hall for performing the festive ritual. After waiting for sometime, everyone arrives.

"Manik.. Meera?" Nandini asked not seeing Meera.

Before Manik could speak Meera enters. Everyone smiles looking at her. Nandini moves forward to hug Meera but she stops herself.

Meera smiles and hugs Nandini. She remains stunned for a while by her behaviour. "What happened bhabhi? Why are you looking so amazed?"

"I.. You forgive me?" She asked.

"For what? Bhabhi, you were not at fault.. When I myself think about it with a relaxed mind.. I realized that why you did all this.. And it's not fault na that you are his sister.." Meera said with a smile to which Nandini smiles back. Manik is happy to see them back together.

"Start the rituals you all.." Rajeshwari said sitting on her seat.

Manik, Manav and Dev sat down. "Bhai sa take your partners along with you all.. This year, I have two more to tie the rakhi, Nandini and Gauri bhabhi.." Meera said while Nandini, Gauri and Divya sat besides their partners.

Meera does their aarti and then tied the rakhi on their wrist while the brothers presented gift to her sister.

"Your turn bhabhi.." Meera said to Nandini and Gauri.

"I don't have any brother.." Gauri said.

"You have me.." Manik said forwarding his wrist to her. Gauri smiles at him and ties him the rakhi who in return gifts a beautiful present. Nandini smiles at Manik.

Nandini then ties the rakhi to Ishaan who then gifts her a present. Everyone than sat around talking.

Manik can notice the sadness on her face and he knows the reason to. Manik excuses himself from the group and takes Nandini out.

"Manik.. Why you bring me here? What everyone must be thinking of us.." Nandini said to Manik.

"No one will think anything. You just come with me.." Manik said dragging Nandini with him.

Both enters in the cure room. Before she can say anything, her eyes fell on Naman who was lying on the bed. "Go and tie him rakhi too... I know you wanted to but you were not saying fearing I would mad at you again.. But till he is alive, I can't snatch his rights from him.." Manik said leaving her hand.

Nandini for a few seconds stares Manik. She then turns her gaze to Naman who is lying on the bed with closed eyes. His body covered up with bandages and wounds everywhere. His face lost that charm he always used to have. It was pale and he looked tired and stressed. Nandini just moves to him and hugs him and cries keeping her head on his shoulder.

Naman opens her eyes to see Nandini crying hugging him. He took a deep breath and called out her name while caressing her head. "Nandini..."

Nandini looks up to see her brother looking at her only. "Why did you do that bhai sa? Even if I want.. I can't do anything for you.. If you loved Meera then why you and Veer..." She asked hoping for answers and tears in her eyes.

"I am sorry.. I am sorry.." Naman said trying to control his emotions.

Nandini then wipes off her tears. "Give your wrist.. It's Rakshabandhan today and.. I am here to fulfill the duty of a sister.."

Naman forwarded his wrist while Nandini ties him the rakhi. "But.. I don't have anything to give you..." He said looking at her teary eyes.

"You have already given so much to me bhai sa.." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Bhai sa.. Here you are.. I was searching for you ever..." Meera said entering the room in a hurry but couldn't complete her words seeing the sight in front of her. She saw Naman sitting on the bed with injured body and a pale face. She was shocked and same was in the case of Naman.

Meera steps forward to him. Manik is going to stop her but Nandini held him and nods in a no.

Meera approaches him and sat besides her. A lone tear escapes through Naman's eyes while Meera's eyes were filled with tears. She touches his face while Naman just stares at her. "Why?" She said with tears.

Naman couldn't speak because of tears he is trying to control. "I am sorry.. If possible please forgive me.."

"Tell me the reason.. I promise. I won't say a word.. I still can't believe that my love can do something like this.. Please tell me Naman... I promise to make everything normal as it was.. Just tell me the truth and stay with me.. I don't want to lose you.." Meera said sobbing.

"I am sorry Meera.. I am sorry.." He said wiping off her tears.

Meera hugs him. "Please Naman.. Just once tell me everything.. I promise I won't leave you ever.. Please I can't see you dieing.. Please.." She cried.

Naman didn't hug her back. He just caresses her hair trying to sushi her. He is then going to hug her back when Manik held his hands and gave him an angry look. He then pulls Meera away from him and drags her out followed by Nandini.

Manik then takes him out of the room and takes her to his room. "What were you doing Meera?" He asked angrily.

"Manik.. stop shouting at her.." Nandini said.

"Okay then! You deal with her! And Meera I don't want you near that man again!" He said in a strict tone. "And why did you hugged him? You forgot what all he did to you?"

"Bhai sa.. I can see the innocence.. in his eyes... My heart is still not ready to.. accept that he did that.." Meera said with tears in her eyes.

Manik takes a deep breath and cups her face. "Meera.. You only told me na that it was Naman.. and that letter. Everything has happened with your consent right? Then what happened now?" He asked softly.

"Bhai sa.. I agree that I only told you all that but... I don't know my heart never agreed.." Merra said in a breaking voice.

"Meera.. he himself agreed that he did that.. Even Nandini heard too. And all proofs are showing him guilty. I too can't see you like this but.. I can't still forgive him if you do.. Just forget him and move on.." He said pecking on her forehead with affection and then leaves.

Nandini sits behind Meera. "Even I too can't believe that bhai sa can do something like that.. but all the proofs are against him and I can't prove anything.."

Meera just stays silent. Nandini helds her hand. "Meera, don't think about it much... Go and get along with everyone. You will feel better.." Meera nods and leaves while Nandini too leaves the room lost in her own thoughts.

Gauri, Meera, Nandini and Divya is shown in a room. "This was my room.." Meera said entering a beautiful room with the other three.

"So why don't you shift here now Meera? Everything is going back normal.. You should leave that back side and return back.." Gauri said.

"Yes and Manik will be the happiest knowing about it?" Divya said with a smile.

"We all will help you in making your room as it was.." Nandini said.

Meera nods and all of them started cleaning and decorating her room as it used to be once.

"Nandini, where is Manik?" Divya asked while opening the curtains.

"He said he is going out of the palace because of some important work.." Nandini replied while spreading a beautiful sheet on the bed.

"Why did you let him go princess?" Gauri said stopping her work, she was doing a while ago.

"Why? What happened?" Meera asked worried.

"Manik is having fever since morning today.. And some enemies have also entered here for harming him.." Divya said.

"Fever? But he didn't told me anything?" Nandini said. "I got it now, that why he was not allowing me to hug him.."

Everyone chuckles at her statement while she looks at them confused. "Did I say something funny?"

"No bhabhi.. Not at all.." Meera said with a small laugh.

"It's ok Nandini.. He will be back soon. Don't worry..." Divya said.

All of them gets busy in their work. It's almost evening when Manik along with Manav and Ishaan returns back.

Nandini sees Manik entering the palace. She excuses herself and moves to him.

"Nandini.. You here? I was coming to you only.." Manik said.

"Why didn't you tell me you had fever in the morning?" Nandini asked.

"Firstly that was a little one and secondly if I had told you then you won't let me go out and that was so important for me.." Manik said.

"Ok.." Nandini said with a small smile. "Now have some food.. You must be hungry.."

"Have you eaten?" Manik asked.

"Yes.. I had with everyone else.." She said.

Manik gives her a small smile and leaves from there.

Nandini is with Rajeshwari. She is lying on her lap along with Gauri and Meera while Rajeshwari caresses her forehead.

"Really maa? Manik was this much naughty when a kid?" Nandini asked surprised.

"Yes, he was!" Rajeshwari replied.

"And this was not enough for him to annoy me.. So he and Manav used to tie my hair with the bed too.." Meera said with a smile.

"Manav is still the same.." Gauri said.

"Yes.. Manik has, turned himself to a mature one but Manav still have the childish behaviour.." Rajeshwari said.

"Yes he do.." Nandini said with a smile.

All of them then moves to their room as it's night. Nandini enters the room to see Manik already sleeping. She smiles seeing him sleeping and covers him with a blanket and sleeps besides him too.

It's almost midnight, but sleep was far away from Nandini's eyes. She turned towards Manik to saw him sleeping.

"Manik.. Manik.. I am not feeling sleepy.. Wake up na.." Nandini said trying to wake him up.

"Let me sleep please Nandini.. You sleep too.." Manik said cuddling her in his arms.

"Manik.. please na.." Nandini tries to wake him up again but gets no reply from him.

Nandini then is going to climb off the bed when Manik pulls her by holding her wrist. She lands on his chest. Manik smiles seeing her face too close to him.

"What happened?" Manik asked taking her into his embrace.

"I am not feeling sleepy..." Nandini replied. "Can we do something!"

"I am always ready for it.. I am just waiting for you to say that.." Manik said with a teasing smile.

"Manik!" Nandini said hitting him slightly on his chest to which he chuckled. "You always find a way to tease me?"

"Because I have seen this wildcat in all modes except blushing mode.. I always try to make you blush but you never do that.. Why?" Manik asked.

"My blush is not to easy get and you can't make me blush.. Aap me vo baat hi nhi hai Manik.." Nandini said with a hidden smile.

"Are you challenging me?" Manik said raising his eyebrows.

"I guess yes monster!" Nandini replied with a smirk.

"Now it's about my self respect.. It's not only you whom I can make blush but I can make anyone blush.." He said with a proud smile.

"Don't you dare make anyone blush other than me! Otherwise I will kill you.." Nandini said with a glare.

Manik smiles. "I love this possessive wildcat!"

"And I love this cute monster.." Nandini said making both chuckle.

"Now can we sleep?" Manik asked.

"But I am not feeling sleepy.." She said.

"Lay down.. I'll see why sleep is far away from your eyes.." Manik said making her lay down on the bed besides him and caresses her forehead humming a beautiful song. Nandini smiles and closes her eyes while Manik adores her.

"Nandini.." Manik said looking at her face intensly.

"Hmm.. say.." She replied opening her eyes and looking at him.

"I want to give you something.." Manik said.

"What?" She asked.

"A kiss.. I will give you a kiss and if you don't like it, you can return me back.." Manik said with a smirk to which she blushes.

Before she could say anything more, he kissed her softly for few seconds and then broke it. Nandini hides herself in his chest as soon as he broke the kiss.

"I did it!" Manik said.

"What?" She asked still hiding her face.

"Making you blush.." Manik said to which Nandini looks at his face and he winks at him. Nandini chuckles. "You are impossible Manik.." She said while Manik smiles.
