Arguments

EVANGELINE HEARS CARLISLE AND JACOB TALKING. She was currently by Bella's side, looking at the human's pregnancy bump with a smile.

Other part of her were concerned about Bella's health. However, she knows what Bella has decided, to keep her baby, and she supports that, even if Jasper is against it.

Jacob Black appears in her line of sight. Rosalie was in front of Bella, blocking the pregnant woman from the shape-shifter. Evangeline knew that the blonde was just trying to have safety precautions if the boy found out about Bella's situation and lashed out.

The boy cautiously walks towards them, trying to look at Bella's appearance, but Rosalie stands in her place with crossed arms, looking intently at Jacob.

"I'm glad you came," Bella says quietly.

"Close enough," Rosalie warns, still blocking Jacob.

"What's your problem?" Jacob asks irritably, and he is confused about why the blonde is protective of Bella. He heard stories of Rosalie from Bella that the blonde hates her.

"Rose, it's okay," Bella tells Rosalie, tugging the blanket, keeping it from falling.

Jacob walks past Rosalie and sits in front of Bella. A huff escapes his lips, and he smiles, "You look terrible."

Bella smiles and shakes her head, "It's nice to see you too."

Jacob nods and asks, "So you're gonna tell me what's wrong with you?"

The pregnant woman sighs and looks at Evangeline and Rosalie. "You blondes want to help me up?"

Evangeline nodded and stands up from her seat and gently taking Bella's left arm for support while Rosalie held her right arm. Bella removes the blanket, her bump showing, while Jacob stands up, not removing his eyes from what he sees.

Bella smiles, and Jacob looks at Edward. His jaw tightens. He was furious, and he was about to attack Edward. However, Emmet stopped him, "You did this."

"We didn't know it was even possible," Carlisle reasons out to the boy. Jacob aggressively removes Emmet's grip from his shoulder. The boy looks back at Carlisle and asks, "What is it?"

Carlisle looks defeated because he doesn't know the answer for the first time, "I'm not sure. Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac."

Alice makes herself known and says, "I can't see it either, and I can't see Bella's future anymore."
Theodore intertwines his hand with hers, trying to calm his wife.

"We've been researching legends,
but there isn't much to go on. What we do know is that it's strong and fast-growing."

Jacob faces him and asks, "Why haven't you done anything? Take it out of her!"

"This is none of your business, dog," Rosalie snaps.

"Rose," Esme warns, "The fighting isn't good for Bella."

"The fetus isn't good for Bella," Alice objects.

Evangeline stays quiet. She doesn't really want to be mad, she was trying to calm herself, but if this arguing didn't stop, she'd definitely ruin her calm composure.

"Say the word, Alice. "Baby." it's just a little baby," Rosalie fumes out.

"Possibly," Theodore says, taking his wife's side of the argument.

"Carlisle, you've gotta do something," Jacob begs the doctor.

Evangeline stands up from her seat and glares at Jacob. "No one is going to do anything. It's Bella's choice, it's her body and her baby, it's not Carlisle's decisions, it's not any of yours, so please leave this room if you don't want me to throw you off this balcony myself, none of this is making Bella's health any better," her voice was stern and deathly calm, it was terrifying for the shape-shifter.

"Just because you lost yours doesn't mean my wife has to keep hers," Edward speaks up, and that was Evangeline's breaking point.

"Edward," Jasper warns. Sure, he wasn't supportive of Bella and keeping that thing, but it doesn't mean that Edward can bring up a topic that was sensitive for him and Evangeline.

Evangeline speeds towards him and pushes the bronze-haired man to the wall, "And you have the opportunity to have a child that none of us can have. You don't know how lucky you are, and you are just willing to get rid of the baby like it was nothing. If you can't own the consequences of your actions, then I don't know how you're going to be a good father for your child." She laughs and smirks.

"Don't worry, the baby wouldn't need a father if she had an amazing mother and two incredible aunts." She let go of him and dusted off her skirt as if disgusted.

Edward seems to have taken Evangeline's words and immediately regrets what he had said to her, "Jacob, I need to talk to you," and walks down the stairs, Jacob following behind him.
