Physical Description
Calista is a light-skinned {almost pale} girl of Hispanic descent with dark coffee-brown eyes and light blonde hair that she tends to wear in a fishtail braid with the lower half of her hair being dyed in a light pinkish color or in a starry, midnight blue color when she is feeling tired of her highlights.

She is commonly seen wearing a slightly baggy starry blue long-sleeve sweater with a light blue constellation necklace, black high-top sneakers with sliver, miniature stars scattered across her sneakers and a golden star-themed charm bracelet that she wears on her right wrist as her personal good luck charm. She tends to wear this outfit when there's colder weather.

However when the weather is warmer or she simply wants to change her look, her other outfit consists of her wearing a light pink and white pastel dress with pastel pink flats as she wears a rose-gold star-themed charm bracelet, rose-gold floral earrings and a rose-golden star-shaped necklace.

When playing with her band The Starlets, Calista is seen wearing a light blue T-shirt with five black stars [to symbolize each member], ripped black jeans and starry blue high-top sneakers. She will also have a yellow star painted on her right side of her face, along with little golden studded star earrings and a star-shaped necklace she wears to every concert/band practice.

When Mara quits the band, she and the other members still retain the fifth star as a commemoration to her but when they break up, she has Dante Brooks [their leading guitarist and costume designer] create new shirts with four stars, rather than five, as she doesn't want to be reminded of her ex. While he makes the shirts, he only makes three of them and all new shirts have three black stars, which she and the remaining members see as Dante quitting the Starlets, which he does.

As such, she will be seen wearing a light blue T-shirt with three black stars, ripped black jeans and starry blue high-top sneakers when performing with the remaining members in the future. However, she will still keep a a yellow star painted on her right side of her face, along with little golden studded star earrings and a star-shaped necklace she wears to every concert/band practice as this is the standard look she wears for whenever she's with the band.

Personality:
Lively, energetic and bubbly, Calista is a dynamic person with a big heart and bigger dreams. Having always shared a passion for the stage and the bright lights at a early age, she is driven by attention and loves having the opportunity to share her singing talents alongside the band she founded, the Starlets.

Although she loves having the spotlight and wouldn't trade it for anything, she enjoys having her friends around to share the spotlight with as it's only through them that the Starlets were able to be a thing. She cherishes her friendships and her relationship with her girlfriend and leading drummer, Mara Sparks, who she sees as an equal given their similarities.

However as much as Calista loves her friends and her girlfriend, she's also very family-oriented as she adores her loved ones who are supportive of her singing career, even if they wished she chose to join them in the family business of tracking down mutants in their quest to exterminate them.

Although she grew up with the per notion that mutants were dangerous and disgusting creatures, a notion that she [mostly] believes in, she mostly sees mutants as annoying creatures who are nothing more than a hindrance to their society. In truth, she wants nothing to do with mutants as she thinks that they're beneath her, but somehow, Cali ends up coming across their path time and time again.

Despite this belief, she is actually quite two-faced as she conceals her true feelings about mutants and fakes a fondness for these creatures out of respect for her girlfriend, who is genuinely fond of these things with their 'sister' being her girlfriend's best friend. A fact Cali wished wasn't true after they discover their classmate has a family full of mutants she grew up learning to despise.

This two-faced nature runs deeper than her own disgust with Briana Gem Sentry [OC belongs to Sci-Briana14] and the turtles [Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Hamato Sofonisba [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1] as it serves as the basis for the way she perceives the purple-haired girl and April when her girlfriend isn't around to see the way she truly acts around them.

Because in spite of her bubbly and kindhearted demeanor, she's actually quite cynical, vain and just a tad bit demeaning when it comes to dealing with people she's not truly fond of. Furthermore, she has a 'bit' of a jealousy problem as she tends to feel insecure about others in regards to them either stealing the attention from her or in regards to their closeness to her girlfriend, who she may or may not be slightly possessive over.

This jealousy will eventually start to shift from the closeness to her girlfriend to that of the knight as she begins to develop feelings for Cameron Chandler. However as Noelle is her best friend, she'll suppress her feelings towards him and the jealousy that Calista feels towards Noelle [who she sees as being perfect and everything she wants to be] as she's willing to sacrifice her self interests to ensure her best friend's happiness even as it comes at her own expense.

Aside from her jealousy problem though, she tends to be type to belittle people when she thinks no one is watching and because of this, she is largely regarded as someone who shouldn't be trusted with the way she's so two-faced.

But with her bigger-than-life persona and her [...mostly] genuine demeanor, how can someone not come and trust her when she's so easygoing?

As such, Cali ends up siding her feelings for Cameron aside as she tries to act as a wingwoman of sorts for Noelle in trying to get her and Cameron together.

1. Even though it can be said that Briana Gem Sentry [OC belongs to Sci-Briana14] and the turtles [Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Hamato Sofonisba [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1] should be listed as her allies since they tend to come to her rescue from time to time, she doesn't actually see them as her allies since she views them as more as an annoyance/hindrance.

It also doesn't help that she has a perceived notion that mutants are dangerous from her family being mutant hunters, but seeing how her girlfriend is close to them with their little sister being Mara's other {as she refuses to acknowledge the fact the purple-haired girl is her girlfriend's first best friend}, Cali does her best to be civil towards them, even though she [in truth] wants nothing to do with them.

This is ironic because despite her annoyance/disgust towards Briana Gem Sentry [OC belongs to Sci-Briana14] and the turtles [Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Hamato Sofonisba [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1], she always finds herself caught up with them through Mara and Casey, who always find themselves getting into some sort of trouble.

2. Even though she breaks up with Mara in the midst of the girl's trauma, the truth is she has always felt a desire to end things beforehand. With Mara being friendly with mutants and her constantly bringing up April, there are signs that the two weren't as strongly linked to each other than the two like to think they are. Despite this, Calista puts up with her girlfriend's less than ideal actions, believing that in time, she will be able to see things her way.

But as time goes on, she finds that nothing has changed so when Mara becomes fixated with her in the midst of her traumatic experience with her mother, she can't handle her girlfriend anymore and sees this as a chance to end things between them... even though she unintentionally ends up making things worse for her ex when she deems her to be a problem in the heat of her anger.

3. Furthermore while as her and Mara are perceived to be similar but are actually quite different from each other, she tends to click more with Cameron, who she saw as being different from her until she realized they were similar with their shared annoyance of the turtles. That shared connection with him is what also serves as the catalyst for her to begin reevaluating her relationship with Mara as she starts to feel something for the knight in a way that came naturally while as it took some time for that feeling to come with her girlfriend.

4. She had a older brother before Chase, but her parents rarely (if ever) talk about him as he's seen as a "curse" of sorts, hence why he's not mentioned or listed on her family section.

5. Similar to how everyone else can see Cameron for who he really is but not Briana [OC belongs to Sci-Briana14], everyone can gradually see Calista isn't who she claims to be and the way she starts to drift from her girlfriend but Mara [who fails to see the signs of who she is or the fact that their relationship is steadily on the verge of crumbling down].

6. In a lot of ways, her personality is similar to that of Cameron, hence why she starts to feel naturally drawn to him as he's more the ideal equal she envisions than compared to when she's with Mara, who she gradually starts to see as someone who is the opposite of her.
