» It is a private academy. The teens live there for school and everything, however, most of their actual schooling is done online, due to the extensive training for their sports.

» There are some indoor, real classroom classes though. It's not all just playing in the snow.

» The parents stay at the resort as well. Each specific family has a lodge they stay in, which is where the parents spend most of their time when they're there.

» The academy is generational. Many of the parents attended, so they have petty family rivals with each other still.

» They're all rich. Filthy rich. Honestly, having money is part of the way to get into the academy as a family in the first place, I'm sure.
