after about two days in boston, johnny was currently driving us back to my parents house.

the first night we got here, we spent the night at lizzie's house with nate and alahna. we ended up crashing on her couch because we fell asleep after the hunger games marathon she had us watch.

"no, lizzie! if i have to watch finnick die, i swear i will sob! he's my favorite!" i turned my head from the screen.

"me too, girl. me too!"

both of us had read the books and watched the movies in high school. because of the new movie coming out, she was rereading them and wanted to rewatch all the movies too.

the next morning we said goodbye to them and headed to my parents house.

my parents loved meeting johnny and he loved meeting them.

we'd sleep in my room, which he absolutely loved.

he looked around for like half an hour, looking at everything and picking up or touching everything he could.

i swear he read the titles of every single book i had, which was a lot.

now, we were sitting in the car driving back to my house.

i had my knees pulled up to my chest while texting my brothers.

i had just started playing the album speak now (taylor's version) since johnny let me have the aux.

i looked up through the windshield. small drops of water began to land on the glass.

"it's sprinkling." i murmured.

johnny hummed as he made a turn.

this was so relaxing. i looked over at him, watching the way he focused on the road.

he must have seen me out of the corner of his eye because he turned to me with a smile.

"what?"

i smiled back. "nothing."

he made the turn onto my street and i saw my house coming into view.

"my mom said she's gonna cook dinner for us tonight, if that's ok." i told him.

"that's perfect." he smiled, pulling into the driveway.

he went to take the keys out of the the car but i put my hand on his wrist.

"wait, don't turn the car off yet." i looked out the window and saw the rain was a little heavier now.

sparks fly (taylor's version) had just started to play and i turned the volume up, a lot.

i opened my door and got out, leaving the door open as i walked down the driveway.

i looked back, the front half of the car was under the awning of the garage so the inside of the car wouldn't get wet.

i had turned the radio up loud enough so that when i got to the bottom of my driveway and onto the street i could still hear the music.

i looked up at the sky and laughed, spinning in a circle. i started to dance and jump around.

i laughed again and looked up at johnny.

he stood in the driveway, looking at me.

"well, don't just stand there, come here." i smiled.

drop everything now.

he lightly jogged towards me and grabbed my hand. he spun me around and we started to dance together.

meet me in the pouring rain.

after a couple seconds, he picked me up and began to spin me around, in his arms, fast.

kiss me on the sidewalk.

i laughed loudly and tipped my head back.

take away the pain.

i wrapped my arms around his neck as he went to place me back on my feet.

cause i see sparks fly whenever you smile.

our faces were inches apart and i looked up into his green eyes.

get me with those green eyes.

my breath caught as my eyes flickered down to his lips and back up to his eyes again.

baby, as the lights go down.

i exhaled lightly as i felt him getting closer.

give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around.

i leaned in as well and pressed my lips to his.

cause i see sparks fly whenever you smile.

our lips moved together as his hands held my waist and pulled me closer.

my hands curled in the back of his hair.

he leaned his forehead against mine and smiled.

i giggled as i moved my hands to his cup cheeks.

"i knew fake dating you was a good idea." he said, a cheeky grin in his face.

i laughed and dropped my head onto his shoulder.

"i knew asking you was a good idea." i whispered.
