CHAPTER FIVE

A MOMENT

   They walked around and then they found Grant. "Grant!" August called out. Grant turned around and ran to her he basically picked her up and spinned her around August was surprised but didn't mind. "Nice to see you too.." August said as he put her down. "Wow you look amazing" August smiled "Thank you! You too" Grant then spoke "Oh I wanna introduce you guys to my parents over here"

   Grant led them to his parents and they greeted them but his dad whose name is James kept giving them weird looks. August noticed and brushed it off. Grants mom aka Charlotte spoke "I just love your outfits!" Devon nodded "Yeah but mines the best right?" He spinned in a circle joking around. Grants mom then looked at August "You must be August I heard great things about you and you run a business?"

  August smiled looking at Grant "I hope it's good things" Charlotte laughed. They walked away after greeting them just then August spoke "Is there anyway you could take us to the residents..?"

   "Uh I'm not sure I mean getting you guys in here was kinda hard." Grant said. August had another idea "I mean I'd love to see your room." Grant nodded "Yeah for sure" he took her hand and the others followed. They made it upstairs and Grant showed them around August then looked another way "What's over there?"

  "You read my mind" Grant spoke as he looked back at her friends "None of you touch anything!" August looked at her friends as her and Grant went to his room. They walked in and Grant closed the door they started talking. Grant played some music cause he had speakers around his room he started to sing but August gave him a look cause that's not what she expected.

  He grabbed her hand and August had no choice but she danced with him he took off his angel hat and put it on her she smiled at him. "It looks better on you" he said and August just thanked him. He then jumped on the bed and August laughed and felt different like she started to catch actual feelings.

   Grant paused the music and then sat down on his bed August looked at him "Here let me see your phone" he handed it to her and she put her type of music taste. They were talking a bit they were talking about how parents could be rough sometimes.

   August spoke "I mean I guess we're both in a life is fucked up club.." Grant laughed softly "Yeah I guess you're right... those kids at school just don't get it" August listened to him speak. "No one at my school really likes me I guess.. but august meeting you it's been a relief for me" Grant said.

  August started feeling bad cause she was just using him to get inside the White House. August also noticed Grant was even crying. He wiped his tears "God I'm so sorry.. It's Halloween right?? We're supposed to have a good time."

  August grabbed his hand and looked at him "Thank you.. for everything you've done I appreciate you helping me and my friends" Grant felt nervous so he got up "No problem but you know what maybe we should find Lexy or Jake." He got up but August grabbed his arm and pulled him on top of her she laid on her back she only did this so her friends can keep looking around for anything or even Chucky so she pulled him in for a kiss. Grant kissed her back and it turned into a little make out session.

  Grant started to kiss her neck. Just then August heard something she pulled away and got up "Wait hold on" She ran downstairs cause she knew something was up. Grant followed "Wait what's happening I thought we were having a little moment..?" "We were but I need to find my friends! And your brother!" She said. She went downstairs and found her friends they were looking around for Chucky cause they thought they saw him.

  Just then as they were looking around they saw Grants brother with Chucky. Devon started recording. Chucky spoke "Hi I'm Joseph" Jake looked confused "Joseph?" Grant looked at August.

   "I knew it... you just used me to get inside!" He said. August looked at him then at her friends "What? No that's not true! I would never" She touched his arm but he pushed her off  "Don't touch me.. you know your just like everyone else turn the camera off!"

   Devon didn't then Grant went up to him snatching the phone turning it off. Just then the power turned off but you could still see some lights on in the room. Devon was over by a crowd with some people. But then they heard something move it was the chandler.

   August looked at her friends and people looked above just then the chandler was falling Jake ran pushing Devon out the way. He did just in time and the chandler fell killing many people. August gasped there was blood and bodies everywhere...

  Everyone was screaming and running and couldn't believe what the saw. Lexy and August ran to the boys August looked at them "Are you okay?!" Thankfully none of them were hurt.

But Chucky got away.
