"What's all this maa? Why are you arranging her stuff in my cupboard?" Rudra motioned in his room as he came to his mother inquiring her about whatever going on.

"Because she is your wife and from now onward she will be living here with you, you both are going to share same room_"

"Please maa! I already told you about my feelings. I don't consider her my wife. You also know that all the child marriages are void, it's totally illegal_" He tried to put his thoughts up🍁 but as always got interrupted.

"If so then we will make you both marry again but only akshita will be your wife. Either you like my decision or not but you have to accept her as your wife." A old yet strong voice pulled their attention, pratap stepped inside as he stood before his grandson directly gazing in his eyes.

"Daddu, atleast you understand me. I don't want an unsuccessful marriage and moreover I don't want any marriage, I wish to stay alone and focus on my work not on this family drama. Akshita deserves someone better than me. We have nothing to each other." He declared turning his face.

"For your unwanted demands we can't play with her life rudra. We accept that this marriage was never with your consent but now when you are married you have to accept it. Akshita don't have any problem then what's your problem? She wants to lead a happy life with you then why don't you want the same?"

"I don't know! I don't know what she thinks but one thing I know is, I can't continue this drama. I don't want to play with her feelings, she must have a lot of expectations from her husband, she must be wishing love, care, support and respect from her husband. I can't provide a single thing to her. I told you that I like samaira and will think to marry her__"

"Think? That's mean you are not sure about her also?"

"That's not the case daddu! I like her but I need time to see her as life partner, I don't want to decide in hurry because it's about my whole life." His mind grew with confusion as all over again he was unable to decide anything.

"Rudra!" Pratap's voice turned soft as he held his grandson's hand and sat on the couch.

"Akshu is a very nice girl, she loves you. If you are not sure about samaira then what's the problem to accept akshu. Maybe you will find love later? It happens in arrange marriages, belive me you won't understand when your heart will fall for her and the day you will realise, she will become the most precious thing for you. Okay, I understand that you are against child marriage but now we can't do anything." He tried to make him understand his words each time looking at his changing expressions.

"If you respect me a little bit also, then try to accept her. Try to adjust with it, she is your responsibility, your wife. I am not forcing for doing anything just go with the flow and everything will be normal." Rudra shook his head as he rubbed his palms over his face. Everything had become a burden for him. Deep inside he know that his family is right. He can't play with akshita's feelings but the thing was he doesn't want to accept it.

Here standing just outside the room i am staring at the door. I don't want to enter as I know what will happen once land inside. I will have to face her, which I don't want to. I can't see that hurt in her eyes, which probably is because of me. Unknowingly though I have broken her heart, her dreams and lot more things, only because of this fucking marriage which doesn't exsist.

She is an educated and mature girl, then why the hell she can't understand that our marriage is illegal. We can't be together. She will get someone more better, more deserving and more good human than me. I know she is working in this marriage under family pressure, deep down she must have something else. Of course she would have. After all it's her life, I would talk to her clearly. If she want then I will help her to get out of this shit.

And about dadu's proposal of working in this marriage then let's see where my destiny will take me.

Clearing all the bullshit I opened the door of my room and stepped in, only to face a nervous akshita snapping at me. Her eyes were filled with shock as her lips parted and she was fumbling with her fingers.

As rudra made his way inside akshita composed herself and moved a little backward not wanting to face any problem. She was scared as after all that drama happened, her heart was hopelessly disappointed. She had forgotten about the thought of being loved or pampered by him. She had burnt all her dreams with him a long back when he expressed his wish to marry samaira and not her.

Though there was still a broken wish in her heart that maybe his mind changed.

"Relax, You don't have to scare from me. I am against this marriage not you." His masculine voice brought her out of the thought box as she lowered her eye lashes. Her heart beat had fastened like never before as it was first time when she had heard him directly talking to her. His intense gaze was all making her weak at knees.

The thought chain broke as rudra stepped aside, he took away the pillow from bed and started proceeding towards the couch which was completely facing the right side of bed near the window.

"Wh_what are you doing? You......please sleep on the bed. I will manage myself on couch or on floor__"

"You don't have to! I will be working till late so it will be better to settle here. Just don't think and make yourself comfortable, I don't want you to face discomfort because of me." He spoke it all with utter seriousness without exchanging a look.

While akshita was keenly noticing his move, how swiftly his hands were working on that laptop. He put the pillow behind his back and sat comfortably with his legs occupying the tea table before.

She found the gentleness behind his every word but at the same time it broke her heart about how he ignores their marriage and her like it doesn't really exist. Yeah, atleast not for him. He had already buried all the past memories back when he had left her long years ago.

A heavy sigh left her plum lips as she moved back towards the mirror and took off her jewelery. She had already changed into a simple saare, so that she could sleep comfortably. Once taking off everything, her vision fell at the mangalsutra and she smiled at it.

Just not thinking much she climbed on the bed and laid down turning to other side as her back was facing him.

Rudra was till now working on his laptop as there was something very important work about his project. He finished it and realised at its already the midnight. He rubbed his eyes and got up from the place, making his way inside washroom.

He came back and saw a glass of water placed on the tea table beside a medication laying. He confusingly twitched his eyebrows and looked up at akshita, who was still laying in same position.

"You are still awake?" His voice made her conscious as unwantedly but a accepting voice came out of her throat.

"What's this medicine about?"

"Migraine!"

"You know?" He was surprised as how did she acknowledged his problem.

"I saw you pressing your head frequently. You will be relieved so please don't avoid the med. And do take rest as tomorrow there's a pooja which will be running for quite long hours. You need proper rest." She said trying not to be nervous as always talking with him awakens the butterflies in her stomach.

Rudra followed her instruction knowing how bad his migraine problem is. He sat on the couch then passing a small smile conversed with her.

"Thanks for the help but you don't have to do all this. You also need rest and i think because of me you are bothered__"

"No, it's not like that_" He cut her in between and said.

"Okay, whatever! Good night!"

She zipped up as he covered himself with the blanket and closed his eyes facing the ceiling. She also sighed and slept, this time facing him as her sight wasn't leaving the view of his handsome face, and didn't know when she fell asleep........ As usual with his thoughts.
