𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬

As the plan for rescuing Eren, Historia, and Y/N was a success, but now they have to deal with Rod Reiss who transformed into a titan himself. In Rod's titan form, he could barely stand up he crawled his way making a deep crack in the center of the earth as his trail not far from where they were. They weren't alone after escaping the underground chapel, Erwin's squad had found them and offered them a wagon for Eren, Historia, and Y/N to ride in once they return to Commander Erwin to discuss their next plot.

"At least, we weren't the only ones out here," Armin said.

"Y/N, do you want to ride in the wagon?" Levi asked in a soft tone.

She shook her head as Levi picked her up to carry her and place Y/N on his horse and he sat with her and she still had her arms around him. She was still scared of losing someone willing to fight their way through the end to rescue her and their other recruits.

They all had horses to ride their way to where Erwin was and then came the discussion of their next mission.

"Erwin," Levi spoke up.

Erwin trotted his way over to them, "Anyone hurt?" He scanned over to anyone that was injured as Levi approached him.

"Yeah, Hanji took a hit," Levi replied as Hanji looks over at Erwin raising a hand with blood on her fingertips waving a little.

"Doesn't look like anything too serious. You've done excellent work, all of you." Erwin said with a stoic expression as he glanced over at Y/N sitting with Levi.

"I've got a whole slew of things to report, but first-" Levi was cut off by Erwin.

"Anything on that titan?" Erwin asked.

Levi glanced over at the titan in front of them continuing to crawl its way and responded, "It's Rod Reiss. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this, Commander."

Erwin only grunts and asked, "The girl? How is she?"

Levi looks down at Y/N who gripped his shirt tightly responding to him as she is still afraid of people around her that might not be as caring and supportive as himself.

"She's alright, and there's something else about her too. Everything will be explained later on once we deal with the situation we're in." Levi said with a straight face before petting Y/N's hair gently as she buries her face into his chest.

Erwin nodded, "Time is short. We can't afford to stand here and chat. Head back to the wall."

"You're gonna let that thing drag its fat ass all the way to Wall Sina?" Levi asked apathetically speaking.

Erwin glanced back at him replying, "Well, more specifically, I'm letting it continue towards Orvud District."

With that, everyone starts trotting their way back to the wall before Rod could make it. Y/N was now looking over to where Rod is as she felt his strong aura around her making the poor girl whimper. Levi heard her whimpering as he grips the rope of his saddle that he couldn't believe what the poor girl has been through. She lost her parents, lost her freedom, and had no idea what the world was capable of for the young one.

"It seems to me that Y/N's power is not only as a titan shifter, but something more that was able to create. Say as if, she could rewind anything from anything that could originally put things back to the way they were." Hanji says in awestruck getting down to some information about Y/N that no one ever knew about.

"Hell, her power must be so strong she might bring back the dead. Although, if I'm correct her power is beyond any of the titans we've seen so far against, Eren, the female, colossal, and the armor. What else could there be besides that?" Hanji questions are asked as she observes the bullets from the battle Levi had against Kenny and his men.

"It's possible because of her powers to create these that could kill someone instantly. Someone must be making them with her power to only work with a single shot." Levi remarked as he felt the anger rise after what they've done to traumatize the poor girl for so long.

He pats her head and glared over at the giant titan crawling towards the wall and said, "You're never going back to him, I'll protect you at all cost Y/N. That I promise." As he hushed the poor girl she instantly fell asleep during the whole ride back to the wall until when dawn rises they will be ready to take out Rod once and for all.
