𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧

The scouts were heading back to Wall Maria and it was a long journey ahead that they have to keep their heads up when they were reaching the wall that had been broke through 5 years ago.

"There it is. Our home town...Shingashina." Armin said.

You peeked from under the blankets to scan the entire outside of the wall had been attacked that the houses were torn down, the wall had a hole inside, and the fields were just a plain sight. As the cart began to move again, so did the scouts as they made a run towards the wall as the cart was a bit bumpy and uncomfortable for you.

"There could be titans anywhere, so keep your guard up!" Erwin told everyone who was riding in a group of formation. "This operation has officially begun! All troops, switch to ODM gear!"

As the troops obeyed the commander's command they headed straight up towards the wall while the remainder of the scouts were with Erwin. Levi was swooping into action to fly up on the wall with the other scouts to proceed with the mission to use Eren which acquired his hardening form to block the gate and the exit just so they can kill the titans inside. But, while everyone was focus on the mission Armin spotted some ashes from a kicked-off fire that was left on the wall. He alerts Erwin that Reiner and Bertholdt were here they were also hiding somewhere that they couldn't be spotted. Meanwhile, you knew that the cart was parked now and remained hidden until you feel like it was the right time to move.

Strange as it got more suspenseful is that they haven't spotted any titans yet. Hange and Levi signaled Eren that everything was fine and he should commence sealing the hole in the outer gate of the wall. As Eren bites his thumb to transform into his Titan form, he used his hardening ability to plug it right through, just in time before Eren could pass out. Hange knew that the enemy could strike any second as everyone stayed on the lookout. All of that training paid off as they could see that the outer gate that they plugged in was a success and now they have to plug in the inner gate.

Y/N

Everything seems to be going as plan since Commander Erwin and the scouts have plugged in the outer gate. It seems too easy, but I had a strange feeling that something was wrong. Should we be worried?

I got myself into this and Levi, not even the other scouts know that I'm here. As I remove the covers the coast was clear and no one seems to be around. My eyes shifted up at the wall as I thought of something that I could try.

"Can I fly up? The soldiers used their gear to get up there maybe I can do it without that." I thought out loud which I knew it was going to be hard for me to try to get up there. My powers are not controlled yet I don't even know if I'm willing to do it.

'I have to try.' I thought as golden eyes glowed as concentrated hard enough to feel myself being levitated off the ground. I opened my eyes halfway to find myself floating in the air like I did to save everyone back at the underground chapel.

I didn't want to lose focus as I concentrated on my ability to float up on the wall to help me balance more so that I won't fall. Each step I took to reach up to the top until I knew I heard the solider's running on the wall as I stayed low.

"They could hiding not far, but they knew when we will arrive," Erwin said.

"Well, it's possible that they had a scout in addition to the three on the wall. "Armin speaks using his logical explanation about the other enemies that were already here hiding as I continued to listen, "Yeah. We should assume we have many enemies and that they could be anywhere."

"You need to sharpen your focus on the enemies that are nearby," Erwin said as he gazes over at Armin stoically. "I trust you. With that mind of yours, you've saved us from disaster countless times. Now do it again. We're in dire need of your help."

My ears perked to listen to more of the information but then I felt my abilities losing focus as I clutch onto the wall quickly just before it wore out. I sighed in relief but I knew that I couldn't hold on for long.

I could still hear Armin going over to the soldiers that he ordered to check around the village to find the enemies. They still had to continue the mission to plug in the inner gate and it gave me the chance to climb on top of the wall. I looked over to see commander Erwin and some other soldiers that were there too as the wind blew I could see on the other side of the wall was a village. My mouth was gaped open as I quietly went on the other side until I heard Armin shoot up a signal to call back the other soldiers. I remained silent as I listened to their conversation that Armin suggested checking inside of the walls, there should be a small cavity that someone should hide in.

"H-He could be right!" I spoke up as I covered my mouth as all eyes were on me.

"Y-Y/N! What are you doing here!?" Armin exclaimed.

I didn't say anything as I kept my mouth shut and I looked at the ground in shame.

Erwin approached me with a scowl and furrowed his huge eyebrows, "Y/N, why did you come in the middle of the mission? You shouldn't be here and it's not safe for you to be here."

Before I could speak up Erwin shot a red smoke signal alerting the other fellow soldiers to stop and hang on the wall.

"There are times to be strict and times to be flexible," Erwin said lowering his arm clutching on the signal gun as I hunched my shoulders as his attention focused back on Armin and the other elite soldiers. "Uphold the principles of your vows. Do what it takes to win. Follow the chain of command and keep your eyes fixed on the path of victory."

Armin stares a little shocked and then nodded, "Form two groups again and check the wall's surface! Start your search above the gate! Go! Quickly!"

The soldiers were hesitant and followed their orders to check on the walls to see if there is a cavity of the enemy hiding in. I stood next to Erwin adjusting the hem of my dress as I looked up at Erwin knowing I'm going to be in very big trouble because Levi strictly told me that he will be back.

I'm scared. I was scared that he wouldn't come back and I will forever be on my own.

"Y/N..." I heard Erwin called me as I stared at him with a straight face.

"You couldn't help but wonder if Levi would come back, right?" He asked in a sincere tone.

I nodded in a quick response biting my bottom lip.

"I don't want to be left alone. I was alone and I can't bear to lose him." I whimpered as he placed a hand on my head to pat it softly.

"He will be fine. I promise." He reassured.

We then heard a smoke signal alarming us as one of the soldiers spoke up, "Right here! This part of the wall is hollow!"

Just then the soldier was stabbed by a blade from a guy that was inside of the wall as I let out a small gasp.

"REINER!' Armin shouted.

Levi swoops down in full speed to stab a blade into this guy name Reiner's neck causing him to lose his balance off the wall and he continued stabbing the blade further and another through his chest. I suddenly noticed that it wasn't enough to kill him because what I realized is that Reiner was a titan shifter. Even Levi's blades didn't do any good use as he released Reiner to let him fall to the ground as I stared down horrified.

"Shit!" Levi cursed.

"Captain?" Armin called out.

"What are these guys made of?" Levi inquired. " A blade through the neck and the bastard still won't die!"

'Made of? Could it be something that helped develop their titan forms?' I thought.

Reiner who was on the ground in pain due to the stab wounds began to transform into his Titan form as I shield my eyes as I gasped. He's the armored titan I heard about when I was only 3 years old, the one who broke through Shingashina and so did the Colossal titan.

Captain Levi was only lucky to let me go after I didn't suspect him to aim directly at me. As I transformed into my titan form I was lying on the ground stiffly and steam was blown off me as my view was focused on the other soldiers on the walls. They can't stay up there for long when they know that we are clashing in between humanity and victory. My eyes then saw a little girl on the wall as I squinted and my eyes bulged when I didn't believe was possible.

It can't be here, can it?

The golden titan is one of the main titan shifters and it's obvious because of her golden eyes. It has to be her! Why is she here? It doesn't matter. Our main objective is to kill the soldiers, capture Eren, and perhaps we will get the girl too.

"The golden titan?" I asked out of turn sitting around the fire with Zeke, Bertholdt, and Annie.

"It's a rare titan if you ask me and I didn't think it was true." Zeke sipping his cup as he explained, "The golden titan is one of the strongest titans, the only thing that you'll know and understand its called "Golden", is because of their eyes. They have abilities far greater than we do, and much of a wide-open target that can use their against us."

"So it's a legend?" Annie inquired.

"Something like that. You'll never know until you find one that is only born with golden eyes and you'll soon understand that titan is incredibly strong." Zeke says as he finished explaining the legend of the golden titan.

Why am I not surprised? If she's so powerful, she could probably stop everything from ending up as a catastrophe.

So, they were here and they knew we would be here.

"Keep your eyes open!" I ordered.

"Y/N, stay close and don't do anything rational," I demanded.

I was focused on the mission and keeping Y/N safe until I heard something behind me on the outside of the wall. Someone transformed into a titan as I gave out an order until more than just ONE transformed into titans.

"We still need to fix the allies!" I let out a gasp as I glanced over my shoulder to peer behind me to see titans and an incredible beast one as well.

"Titans...Lots and lots of titans." Y/N said in a low tone.

The beast titan crouches down to pick up a huge boulder in his hands and throws it right towards us. He didn't aim at us, but he aimed it at the wall directly which was where Eren had crystallized it!

"They have us all but surrounded. They plan to target our horses, block our escape routes, and slaughter us." I spoke up and loud clear to the other soldiers what the beast titan had planned.

"The enemy hopes for the same thing we do--to end this conflict once and for all," I said as I pulled out my blade with my one arm as I stared daggering at the army of titans with their leader the beast titan. "It's our side or theirs now. We can let the titans crush us, or bring them crashing down."
