The thought of a hospital can cause many different reactions: fear, anxiety, relief, happiness, and/or hope. It can trigger feelings of hopelessness, excitement, even anger or sadness. However, for Carson Monroe, the thought of being in a hospital, working in a hospital, brought her a sense of purpose, pride, security. It brought peace and felt like home.

Until it didn't.

CARSON 'SONNY' MONROE. Her life's mission had been to help people. People that couldn't help themselves, especially after the deaths of both her father and brother. Carson wanted to be a part of the solution not the problem so she decided to study health and anatomy.

Easy, right?

If only she knew about the future heartbreak, grief, heartache, the loss, the loneliness, the sleepless nights, the tears that fell so carelessly and sorrow that so rudely followed, she would've never purposely put herself in this position.
