childhood fav show for sure , but if u haven't seen it don't worry about not reading this fic bc i know a lot
of people haven't watched it :)

if you still want to read but haven't watched it, here's a little summary of the show:
it is set in medieval ish times, where magic is banned in a kingdom called camelot, ruled by uther pendragon. but, a boy, merlin ( also soon to become on of the greatest wizard of all times ) comes to camelot after having to leave his home village due to needing to keep his secret of being magic safe. not the best place to come to.
he saves arthur pendragon, the prince of camelot and heir to the throne, from being killed in episode one, and then king uther "rewards him" by making him arthur's servant LOL.
at the beginning arthur and merlin do not get along, arthur's very short tempered,
but they would do anything for each other as the show goes on, becoming almost best friends although they won't admit it !
if you have seen legend a about
the sword in the stone  & the knights of the round table, that is about the show.

and as the intro says,,,
"in a land of myth and a time of magic, the destiny of a great kingdom rests on the shoulders of a young boy. his name: merlin."

so basically every time a threat to camelot happens , merlin saves everyone and doesn't get any credit for it x
