"And then all of them stole my macaroons" pouted Kai,narrating the story about how his friends ate all of the macaroons I gave him.

Poor baby

I will make some more

"Don't worry,I will make some more for you and your friends as well" I smiled at Kai,his eyes glowed with excitement.

He looked so cute with that bunny plushie tucked under his arm.He apparently brought it out on the walk.

How cute?

"I'll be looking forward to them" Kai replied in a cute tone.

After bidding bye to Alvira,I was joined by Kai for my trip to the library to return all the books that Alvira and I borrowed and get new ones.

There is nothing else to do here anyway

Not that I am complaining

I am perfectly content with baking and reading all day

Even though,I can't seem to ask people about the network connection here so I can read my fanfictions again

Why am I even thinking about reading fanfictions when I am at an entirely different planet?

"I'll return them.You can look for other books" offered Kai,taking the pile of books out of my hands.

I thanked him and ran off to find more books.I looked down at the list of things Alvira wants in her selection of books and had to take a double take at what I just read.

I looked at the piece of paper in disbelief and crumbled it up,throwing it in the dustbin in the corner.

I wouldn't want to be caught dead with this note anywhere around me

I looked through the various shelves of the well equipped library.To be honest,I have seen a five storied library.

More books for us to read then

I put the books that I was interested in a tote bag to carry them easily to the main desk and here come the hard part,finding Alvira's books.

I searched through all of the four floors but couldn't find something spicy enough for Alvira so I made my way to the fifth floor,the top floor.

Upon wandering around the shelves of the fifth floor,I realized two things.

One:I finally found out where Alvira got all those books from last time

Two:I hit the jackpot since there I found all the oops that matched Alvira's category as "Go away,Children!" was written on the label that was pasted on top of the shelve designed with golden embellishments.

THAT'S WHY SHE DISSAPPEARS INTO THIN AIR WHENEVER WE VISIT

WHY WON'T YOU SHARE?

I mean...It would have been nice if she informed me about this floor earlier so I could find these books sooner

I started to put all the books into the bag that Alvira gave me to carry her books and placed some that I found interesting in mine.

I was about to put the last book into Alvira's bag and call it a day when I realized a presence behind me.

"You have quite an interesting taste in books" a deep voice spoke from behind me.

Oh shit

I turned around and looked up at the person,frozen at their beauty.

Mom,I think I am in a manhwa

He looks so gorgeous with those doe eyes and cute smile,deep dimples on both sides of his cheeks.His soft black hair brushed to perfection.

He looks familiar though

Where have I seen him before?

"Those are not mine.I was picking them up for a friend" I explained my situation,hiding the book out of view.

"Wow,that's so original" He teased with a grin,looking at the label on top of the library.

"They are really for my friend.I can even show you the list-" My eyes widened at the realization as I remembered what I did to the note earlier.

This can't not be happening

"Listen,I threw it away.All of these belong to my friend....well most of them" I sheepishly smiled,looking down at the bag flustered at the entire situation.

"Sure,I totally believe you"

"YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME.I AM INNOCENT" He looked pointedly the bag then at me.

"I told you I believe you" He gave me a reassuring smile and starred to look at a book.

"Prince Soobin,everyoneis looking for you.What are you doing here?!" a frantic voice,gasped from the stairs seeing Soobin.Her words made me look at him in shock.

Wait...prince?

OMG

I have been picking out "Go away,Children" type of books with the Crowned Prince?

"You know how much I love reading books and studying" Soobin said in a cute tone.

He might be a prince but I want to put him in my pocket

"I apologize for my rudeness but you are not a good liar,My Prince" The maid gave him a blank look and Soobin giving her a glare.

"That's because I am not lying,Eunchae" The prince gave her a tight lipped smile,his eyes screaming "Why would you expose me like that?",stepping closer to the stairs with the book in his hand.

Cute

"I'll help you bring them down.They look heavy" He offered,taking two of the bags from my hands.

"You don't have to do that" I politely refused,trying to take the bags away from his hands but he tightened his grip on them.

Can't have the prince carrying this

"I insist" Soobin refused

"Let me carry one then" He finally gave the lighter one to me after me asking for it relentlessly.

"I was looking all over for you" pouted Kai after we arrived at the ground floor.

"I went somewhere" I mumbled making Soobin give a fake cough at my excuse.

"I have to go now.I hope to see you again soon,Aeris" Soobin smiled softly,making my heart fluttered.

"I hope to see you soon too" I smiled back politely as he left with Eunchae waving bye at me,following behind Soobin.

"What was that all about?" Kai asked.

I noticed a moving figure behind him.His bright red hair giving his presence away.He signed me to stay quiet and quietly approach Kai from behind.

"Watch out!" He exclaimed excitedly,snatching Kai's plushie away from him and running away.

"Molangggggggggg" Kai yelled as he chased after the male.

What just happened?

I just came here for some books

But I met the prince and became the witness to a kidnapping case?
