[ 5 years later ]

"Damn it... where the did they go?" Bakugou muttered to himself. He had just finished hunting food with friends and on was on his way back home. But, the problem was he was lost and his friends were nowhere to be found. He reached for his map in his pouch but felt nothing. "Shit, the bear ate it," He recalled the map being torn apart by his last kill.

ย  ย ย  Katsuki wandered through the forest in hope of seeing someone who could help him. His basket was full of fresh kill ready to be cooked and he wanted to eat so bad. He groaned but continued to weave through the trees onward.

ย  ย ย  A few hours later, still no luck. The sky had dimmed. Bakugou started to feel a little lightheaded due to dehydration. He mentally slapped himself to keep going but but his body couldn't handle it. Bakugou collapsed on the ground and black out.

ย  ย ย  His fall made a loud thump which alarmed a young man who was sleeping against a tree. The man peeked around the tree and saw a blonde man sprawled across the ground. He panicked and rushed over to him. He knelt down and put his head against his chest. Still breathing. The man exhaled happily then moved his body against a tree. Once he set his body up, the man combed his hands through his red hair and sighed in relief. The red-head decided to examine the man more closely. He had a cape draped around his topless body with a few pieces of jewelry.

His eyes made his way up and widened when he registered his face. He let out a gasp and quickly backed away. The red head's heart quickened. "It couldn't be. It couldn't be. It couldn't be. It couldn't be!" He chanted to himself. He ran to the lake and gathered some water into blonde's water bottle. When he returned, the man had woken up and looked dazed and confused.

ย  ย ย  "O-Oi... water..." The weak man croaked out.

ย  ย ย  "H-Here!" The red-head knelt down beside him and poured some water into his mouth.

ย  ย ย  Once Bakugou has recovered, he noticed the Shitty Haired stranger sneaking a few glances at him. After a while, he started to get really annoyed and the unwanted attention.

ย  ย ย  "Hey! Why do you keep staring at me!?" Bakugou demanded. The man opened his mouth to say something but he was still too panicked to make anything come out. Katsuki gritted his teeth and demanded again, "Who are you and why do you keep staring at me!?"

ย  ย ย  Bakugou turned over to punch him but instead got captured into the man's vibrant red eyes. Something clicked within him. A memory that had been shoved down a long time ago. Or should he say someone.

ย  ย ย  "K-Kirishima?" Bakugou asked. His throat felt tight. "Is that you?"

ย  ย ย  The red haired man looked up and slowly nodded, looking off at the side. "Yeah, that's me..."

ย  ย ย  At the moment, Bakugou didn't know how to feel. He felt numb and his stomach twisted. He wanted to push away his last, his kingdom, and Kirishima. It physically hurt him to think of his old friend each day. But he didn't want to forget him either.

However, this strange man claimed he was Kirishima. "Kirishima's a dragon... not a man.." Bakugou thought. "He couldn't possibly be him."

The Kirishima he knew was a red dragon with shiny maroon scales and wings. He had a goofy grin and a scar above his right eye. Curious as he was, Bakugou looked at the man's face. Right above his right eye, was in fact a faint, pink scar. It was Kirishima Eijirou.

ย  ย ย  Bakugou threw his arms around him and clinged on tightly. "You idiot..." Bakugou cried into Kirishima's shoulder. "You fucking left me to die you know."

ย  ย ย  Kirishima's eyes widen. He could've sworn the kingdom was safe for Bakugou. "W-What happened?" He asked. "Why are you out here anyway?"

ย  ย ย  Bakugou let go and told the whole story, choking over his words as he talked. Kirishima felt a huge wave of guiltiness. If he hadn't left, none of this would've happened.

"I-I'm sorry for causing you this much trouble. I-I could've helped fend off the villains," Kiri slumped against the tree.

Bakugou roller his eyes and flicked his nose. "Hey, it's not your fault. But, it was your fault that you left me behind. What's up with that? And, why are you human?"

Kirishima stayed silent for a moment resting his head against the bark of the tree. "I just thought it would be for the best," Kirishima answered, not wanting to say anymore.

Bakugou nodded hesitantly.

They sat like that for a few moments. Cool air breezed upon the faces. Kirishima felt a hand intertwine with his. He looked down and saw Bakugou and his fingers tangled together. He chuckled softly and scooted closer to him.

They fell alseep laying there in the forest. Finally together again.
