"𝑊𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑖𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑏𝑜𝑤 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑒,
𝑆𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑤𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑘 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑑"

     Juniper was incredibly bored, surprisingly with the amount of spacing out the she always did she still managed perfect grades and had enough credits to graduate last year. But her parents didn't exactly want her to spend her days in house with them all the time while she waited till her college season so, they told her to go back for her senior year. Even though she agreed she was kinda bummed that she took all those classes and put in all the work and now she has to go back for a whole extra year of school when she didn't have too.

     The one good part about it was that after a meeting with her counselor who told her that there was really no other classes she needed to take, she could just take a few elective classes and the rest could be free periods. Which meant that she could have a free morning for the whole year. So she decided to spend that time driving around Salt Lake to clear her mind.

Juniper had just come from some smoothie place that was around North High and was parking when she got three texts all at once from Carlos. Sure it was the middle of the day by now for school hours but what could have happened that he needed to text her three times all in caps. Juniper heaved a sigh as she dug her phone out of her backpack and was quickly reading through the texts that were unsurprisingly all about Seb ignoring him.

Juniper texted back what she hoped were some encouraging words for her friend. To be honest she saw the documentary and knew that sure Seb had a right to be suspicious or mad, and all the comments people have made about Carlos and Seb online certainly couldn't have helped but the Yun girl thought that the least Seb could do was hear Carlos out. But after Carlos has tried so many times to get Seb to listen to him he didn't know what else to do and frankly neither did Juniper

Carlos had sent one last text to her asking if she could pick him up from school which she of course said yes quickly making a reminder in her head to pick up some sort of food after in hopes of cheering up Carlos. After the ordeal of trying to help her friend and his relationship issues Juniper finally got out of the car to walk into the school but at least all she had was two classes then she was done for the day. She was already counting down the minutes as she walked through the doors.

Juniper had just got off the phone with Maddox for their daily call after school with each other when the passenger door to her car was abruptly opened and slammed closed by non other than Carlos. Juniper let out a small chuckle at her friend, "I know your frustrated but no need to take it out on my car its the only one I have and its the only way you get your midnight coffees."

"I know, I know I'm sorry Olivia and Juniper," Carlos slumped in his seat.

Juniper nodded as she started to drive out of the parking lot, "That's more like it, now Dunkin, fast-food, or Sushi?"

"Uh Krispy Kreme they have the best donuts and before I tell you all about today, cause I can assure you I am in need of a rant, I know people name their cars but what the hell kind if name is Olivia for a car," Carlos asked as her looked to Juniper.

Juniper rolled her eyes at him, "One, Olivia was the name of my favorite doll when I was younger and two she was also the name of the hot as fuck witch, Olivia Parker from The Vampire Diaries so I see know fault in my name choice."

"Fair she was hot, and why did she have to die? Pretty much everyone in that show died once but were brought back to life, why couldn't she," Carlos responded.

"Exactly what I've been saying! I swear half of that show was just dumb as fuck with it's writing but it's entertaining at least," Juniper said with a shrug.

Juniper parked the car just as Carlos started to talk about his day from that fact that his mom got his shirt dirty that he had handpicked the night before which made him have a bad morning to the fact that there is a whole fucking movie that's being filmed at their school, not to mention that its High School Musical 4. When she heard that Juniper started screaming so loud with excitement that everyone in the store stopped to look at her. Which she promptly gave them a smile before quickly grabbed her donuts and practically running out of the store with Carlos on her heels. Once they had made it back to her car they took one look at each other before breaking out in laughter.

Juniper had drove around the town a bit with Carlos as they ate their donuts and sang along to the radio before she sadly had to start making her way to his house to drop him off. When they made it to his house Juniper could at least say she was about 86% sure that she had cheered him up from the time being and that was enough to put a smile on her face.

     "Hey Juniper thanks for this. I really happy to have you as a friend, with this thing with Seb and school it's really nice to have you around," Carlos told her.

     A bright smile found it's way onto Juniper's fave at her friend's words, "Being your friend and having you as a friend is pretty fucking great for me too. And just saying as a last resort I could pretend to be dying."

     Carlos' eye brows crinkled in confusion at her abrupt sentence, not sure how to piece together how she got there. "You know to get Seb's attention. Where you can then swoop in and explain the whole situation!" Juniper went on the continue her train of thought.

     Carlos just looked at his friend in disbelief at the craziness of her ideas before laughing it off and getting out of the car. He turned back to wave before he walked in to her house leaving Juniper with nothing else to do but make her way home.

The Yun girl had unfortunately made it back to her house quicker than she wanted to as there seemed to be no traffic. Juniper doesn't want to say unfortunately it's not like she was unsafe at home or that her parents were bad people but she couldn't completely say they were the best parents. Sometimes it really felt like they weren't even her parents more like her roommates that kind of wanted her to be out of the house and away from them. Which is not the best feeling in the world for Juniper let alone anyone to have. Juniper stared at her front door contemplating if she should go for another drive again or just walk up into her room and let the uncomfortable feeling of being in that house wash over her for the rest of the day. She honestly couldn't say weather procrastinating walking into that house or ripping off the band-aid and going in now was the best option.

Juniper was luckily saved by the text. She picked up to see it was from Gina with only one sentence, "Do you wanna have a sleepover?"

     "I really like him and I like being with him. I of course want to show him off but I just, I've had people gossip and make their opinions about me my whole life but it didn't matter cause I could take it. But with Ricky I just want it to be an us thing. I don't want to hear people gossip about us or make up rumors. I just want to be happy with him and if that's in secret then so be it," Gina turned to Juniper who was listening but also stuffing her face with the popcorn Gina made for her at the same time.

Juniper didn't say anything to Gina's rant until just looked at her with her eye brows raised as if she was waiting for a response. The Yun girl gave her friend a reassuring smile, "This is your life and your relationship Gina. You do whats going to make your happy and comfortable. If being secret for a while is what makes your feels content and Ricky's good with it then good, stay that way. This is all up to you Gina okay, don't let anyone make you feel different."

At her words Gina flopped onto the bed beside her. Juniper giggled at her before taking another handful of popcorn making Gina do the same. "Thanks June, I needed that. I needed someone to tell me that I'm allowed to want this." Gina sighed, "I don't know, sometimes I feel like he's to good for me, and that making him keep this a secret is just the icing on the cake for me not being enough for him."

     Juniper sighed as she looked towards her friend and the prominent frown that sat on her face. Juniper moved the popcorn bowl to the side and took Gina's hands in her as she sat her up, "I can tell you with full honesty that he does not think or feel that, quite the opposite in fact. I've went through many months of hearing that boy of yours ranting to me about how much he adores you, how special he thinks you are. Gina Porter you are one of the best and most genuine people I know, you two are completely deserving of each other. Secret or not."

     Gina's eyes started to tear up as she lunged at Juniper for a hug. Juniper started the laugh with Gina soon following after letting a few tears come out.

     "Alright no more doubting our selves okay?" Gina gave her a nod as she moved the popcorn bowl back between them, "We are going to Legally Blond and a bunch of badass films about woman because we are fucking awesome okay?"

     Gina laughed as she moved to get under her blankets with Juniper following suit, "Juniper, I'm so damn grateful for you."

     "Same here Gina," Juniper gave her friend a smile before a thought formed it's way into her mind, "Wait didn't you say your mom was buckling down on you for this year? How is she letting you have a sleepover on the first day of school?"

     Gina gave her an innocent shrug and she slumped more into her bed while reaching for the remote, "She knows how smart you are with the whole 'you could've graduated early but decided to stay for senior year' and I may have let her think you came over to study with me."

     "You are also smart as hell and what would I have to study, I take two classes that are just electives," Juniper asked.

     Gina rolled her eyes and gave Juniper's arm a playful shrug, "Hey I got you to be able to have a sleepover with the awesome Gina Porter. Be grateful and stop thinking so much, you weirdo and gush to me about your girlfriend while we watch movies."

     Juniper let out a small laugh before she started telling Gina about anything new with Maddox, which wasn't a lot seeing as she talks to Gina everyday about anything and everything. But, she gushed nonetheless and the two girls laughed and watched movies all night but stopped as Juniper fake swooned over all the goodnight messages Ricky kept sending to Gina with Gina feeling as happy as she could with her best friend and her boyfriend at her side and Juniper felt happy that she got to spend the night having fun with one of her best friends and ditch going home.

okay i'll really try to be better about updating, i got a whole month before my next school meeting so that might help
