Dear Daisy,

It's been a very long while. I haven't been to Idris in a bit and I hope, soon, I can go back and visit you.

It's almost strange how much I reminisce about you with Izzy or Alec, they both miss you just as much as I do.

Sometimes I think that, if Alec weren't my Parabatai, you and I would make a great pair. You're just so fierce with your swords and I think that we would have been the most incredible demon-slaying pair. However, I will say, I'm sort of glad I picked Alec, not because I don't think of you as Parabatai material but because I think that the direction you went with your life was perfect for you.

You really are, nowadays, embodying everything I ever thought you could. Demon-slaying is definitely your calling and I'm so proud to have been in your class, learning these things, when we were kids.

I seriously cannot wait until the day when I can tell Shadowhunters that I was childhood best friends with Daisy and they would all know you just by name. Maybe you could do that with my name at this point, but I wouldn't. There's no way to know what kind of information they would know about me. With our luck, they would only know the shitty rumours.

Oh, I cannot wait to introduce you to Clary and Simon. Well, not actually Simon, I'm not excited to introduce you to Simon because he's pretty boring and I sort of think you could curb-stomp him into the pavement. I do think you might get along well with Clary. She's pretty badass but, actually, I think you could definitely win against her.

Izzy is the same as you may remember, very vicious and outgoing. I'm pretty sure Alec

hasn't changed much. He's still pretty shy but, I swear, Alec is getting better at talking to people he isn't familiar with and not scare them away. He might actually be able to hold a full conversation with you without insulting you enough to make you leave the room entirely, or cut his head off, whichever you might do nowadays.

Anyway, as I said much earlier, I really miss you and I can't wait until you leave Idris and come over to New York. I really think you'd like it here.
