"It will sound weird but I am willing to give my blood to you but for that..." She fiddled with her hands as her heart began to pick up speed," Let me be your rebound."

Rebound was just one reason for her to stay with him, there were some other reasons like to dig the truth about that night. She believed that Jungkook wouldn't ever do something so violent, so cruel.

He shifted his gaze from his drink to her face, to see if she was joking but she had a serious face.

"I am not looking forward to date anytime soon." He said in a low voice," And feeding on human is a crime, do you want me to get prisoned again? Do you even know the consequences if Peace Community finds this? "

Peace community was a government body who laid the laws of all living races for the peaceful environment. It consists of Leader/ Heads of vampires, witches, human and some others, who together would make laws so that all communities can have equal rights.

"I never said dating. I said just rebound like I will be with you only till you go back to your normal life." She explained as a red blush spread around her cheeks," And I won't tell anyone about the blood I give you."

"You are a confusing human and I am a drunk vampire." He rubbed his temples, he could feel the effect of alcohol slipping away, as he was able to smell her blood, hear her faint heartbeat.

"In simple words, use me to heal yourself." She smiled.

"I don't need anyone." He snapped as he drank a sip from his bottle. His mind kept going back to Roxy, he wanted to fix their relationship.

"Stop that, Jungkook." She tried to take the bottle from him but he kept his fingers tightly wrapped around it," You need someone to help you out. Drinking won't help."

"It does, Sally!" He raised his voice," It numbs my pain, my thirst for blood, my vampire instincts and my heartache."

"Even I can do it." She finally grabbed the bottle away from his grip.

"Give that back." He growled, his veins popping from his neck. He was trying his best not to hurt her or scream at her. They had been friends for a long time, he didn't want to ruin their relation.

"No." She kept the bottle behind couch, on the floor," Let me help you."

"Shut up, Sally!" He raised from the couch to get the alcohol," And get out of my house right now."

"Please." Sally got up and blocked his way," Let me be your rebound. Let me help you to forget her. Numb your pain. Heal your heart."

"Stop this !" Jungkook yelled, he was losing his patience, being a vampire he was getting sober faster," I don't want to date anyone and definitely not a human, it's illegal now!"

"Don't date me, just use me and I don't give a fuck about the rules." She flinched at his harsh tone, tears glistened in her eyes but still she stood there firmly.

"Please, leave!" He pinched his nose bridge, her blood smell was distracting him, it was getting harder to control his blood thirst, "It's illegal now for a vampire and a human to be in relationship!"

"Please, let me be your rebound!" She grabbed his wrist which was cold as ice," I don't care!"

Angrily he slammed her against the wall, face dangerously close. His green eyes slowly changing to red.

"Leave me alone." He clenched his jaw as he glared her intensely while freeing his wrist from her hold. His dark red glare making her feel weak.

"No." She whispered, scared but still stubborn,"Let me be your rebound."

He wasn't enough sober to control his vampire behaviour at that point so without thinking twice he kissed her.

His lips moved aggressively against her. He harshly pulled her close by wrapping his arm around her waist while his other one grabbed her neck tightly. As an instinct, her hands flew to his chest, closing her eyes.

The kiss was not passionate nor gentle, it was filled with anger, frustration, hunger and agony that he let out.

Sally's heartbeats were rapid. She was too shocked because of his sudden move.

Jungkook bit her lower lip making her gasp in pain, taking the opportunity to slip his tongue in her mouth, exploring her. He sucked the blood that was rushing out due to his harsh bite on her lips.

She could taste her blood and bitterness of alcohol as he kept hungrily kissing her while holding her, she needed to breath but he was too strong for her.

He pulled her hair back for getting access to her neck while his fangs came out, hungry for more blood, his eyes shined in dark red colour. He licked her skin before sinking his fangs on the spot. The thick warm liquid travelled down his throat, it was so satisfying to him, to have it in his system again. Blood gusted out as he kept sucking, he hadn't tasted blood since long time.

She squeezed her eyes shut, her body trembling due to the sharp fangs sunk in her neck, unbearable pain shooting in her body. But she didn't push him, she wanted him to have the blood, his body needed it.

She gasped loudly when his fangs went a little more deeper, catching his attention. Then he realised how brutal he was acting, he panicked and then stepped back. Her neck was covered with blood, he pulled his handkerchief out of his pocket before cleaning the mess while he licked the blood on his own lips. He bit his own lower lip trying to control his hunger.

She didn't open her eyes as tears kept flowing down her cheeks. Her lips swollen and neck bruised. She inhaled deep and fast breathes trying to calm down.

"Open your eyes." He panted while wiping her tears and caressing her cheek with his cold thumb. She slowly fluttered open her brown eyes to meet his faint red eyes.

"I am sorry." He wiped the blood stain from her lower lip while catching breathes," I am not in right state of mind. Stay away from me. I am a monster."

"That's the reason you need me. I am willing to give you my blood. I want you to stay healthy. I can help you to clear unwanted stuff off your mind." She panted while holding his hand which was caressing her cheek," Use me to heal yourself. Use me as a distraction from every problem you have."

"No." He pulled his hand away from her," I am a monster, I can kill you like I did to those girls."

"I believe that you didn't do it, Jungkook." Her eyes softened seeing him blaming himself for something he didn't do," I trust you, you aren't the monster people have framed you to be."

She hesitantly leaned in and sealed his chilly lips with hers. He slowly moved his lips against her, feeling the softness and moist on them, catching her pace. She kept running her hand through his hair and other wrapped around his neck, ignoring the pain of her body.

He stroked her back to make her feel relaxed as he was still able to hear her fast heartbeats.

The kiss making them feel butterflies in their stomach as both calmed down and enjoyed the moment.

He indeed felt good, more good than drinking. His body wasn't numb but an energy ran across his veins. His body was getting warm, his mind stable than before. His heart began to beat again as now he had blood in him. He felt adrenaline rushing through him making him feel alive just like before his life turned upside down.

"You are my rebound, Sally Snow." He mumbled between the kiss.

He didn't know why he agreed but even if it was for a moment, he felt secure, he felt affection. He was relieved at least one person trusted him.
