okay, so in this story, peggy is tony's godmother. here's the deal:
- so basically, there wasn't much of a choice
- peggy was the obvious choice to be the kids godmother
- maria thought the same thing
- peggy was escatic when she found out, though she hid it well
- when she saw tony for the first time, her heart literally melted
- he was wrapped up in a little red blanket with tufts of his darker hair sticking out
- peggy was the most amazing godmother ever
- tony never learned anything about S.H.I.E.L.D. because they kept it well hidden from him
- they wanted to keep him away from that part of their work
- peggy often scolded howard for being too hard on tony
- she often took time out after (sometimes even during) missions to see tony
- she kept a framed picture of the first time she held him in her office
- peggy and jarvis often teamed up to babysit tonyย
- sometimes the two of them would kick howard and maria out of their own house because, "an ops team is returning tomorrow and peggy's going to be busy for a very long time. we only have right now to babysit him."
- whenever peggy and jarvis were babysitting tony, it would be a mess
- the two of them literally could not say no to tony
- tony knew that, and he used it to his full advantage
- tony: "can i have ice cream?"
- peggy: "it's too late, tony."
- tony: "๐ฅบ๐ฅบ"
- peggy: "ok, fine!"
- tony made stocking for aunt peggy and jarvis and hung them up every christmas
- once tony started m.i.t. he saw peggy a lot less
- the two of them were still very close, but it was harder to see her
- during his childhood, peggy told him stories of the howling commandos
- tony was such a little suck-up
- "i can't believe you were part of the howling commandos. that's so badass."
- "you are literally the coolest person to walk this earth."
- tony liked listening to captain america stories too, but once he grew older he didn't want to hear them anymore
- he felt like his dad cared more about cap than his own son
- he didn't want the same thing with his favorite aunt peggy, so he wouldn't ask for cap stories
- peggy then told him of some of the embarrassing things jarvis used to do
- jarvis would retaliate by telling him about some embarrassing things that peggy did
- he'd wisely shut up at peggy's glare
- peggy rarely scolded tony, except if he did something she didn't approve of
- when peggy found out howard and maria died, she called tony immediately
- he picked up the phone, drunk in a car, at the side of a highway
- peggy immediately picked him up, and took him home
- she called jarvis on the way, and like how they used to do when he was a kid, they took care of him
- ana (jarvis' wife) brought some of her famous goulash, which was one of tony's favorites
- peggy basically lived at tony's house for a few months (she was now retired)
-ย jarvis took on a second-dad role to tony
- he died two years later
- peggy spent even more time tony, but this time, tony just buried his head in building things
- he didn't allow himself to break down
- obadiah had taken over stark industries when howard died
- tony felt like he could take over the company, and he did after jarvis' death
- it took a long time, but he finally created an a.i. named J.A.R.V.I.S. (just a rather very inteligent system)
- about two years after jarvis' death, riley showed up in the floating cradle
- the first person tony told was aunt peggy
- she was so excited
- rhodes was named her godfather, and peggy took on a grandmother role to riley
- peggy was diagnosed with alzheimers when riley was four
- tony and riley visited peggy as often as they could
- riley was a mini-tony, being such a suck-up to peggy, and using her puppy-dog eyes on her
- sometimes peggy got confused and called tony howard, and riley rebecca
- but she loved it when they visited her
