Daishinkan's POV

I layed on the floor of my gigantic palace having nothing to do.

My children were busy, as they all of them had always have. But they promised they would visit and spend time with me after I visit multiverse 2 again for the annual meeting to re crown Rusan.

My mother would be there.

And my sister.

And my brother.......

Oh Gods it shall be a long day. It would be better if I just stay here a while to get some time for myself before I have to deal with the headache of my idiot brother.

I'm just glad I wouldn't have to deal with my father placing too many duties upon me at this very time.

I sighed.

"Sure is boring.....if i sleep I'll find myself dozing off for years," I mumbled to myself.

I suddenly felt two peculiar energies outside the palace. That perked up my interest.

"Katherine....and another"

I hope you wouldn't mind joining me for a cup of tea.

What stupidity is that?!

I offered Katherine and her brother Chris to have a cup of tea with me to cure a bit of my impending boredom but I don't have any tea to serve them both.

Boredom is catching up to me, I said. We will talk over tea, I said.

God can I be more stupid around this girl?

Around this girl.

"I thought you would enjoy one of my coffees your majesty since you love it so much," Kathy's voice perked up as she sat on the armchair under the gazebo of the garden.

Chris only hummed before looking at his sister.

"Does his majesty visit your cafè that much dear sister?"

"Quite so. I would never thought my lord would favour it"

Oh so she knew it was me.

....and sti played dumb on it.

Or was I the dumb one?...

"Coffee relaxes me from any overbearing tension," I replied honestly. "I would love it lady Katherine"

"Lady Katherine? Ara ara~ my lord. Please just call her Kathy!" Chris said slyly as he shot a knowing smirk at his sister as she just scoffed lowly.

"I don't see the reason not to. If her timeness doesn't mind after all"

"Then what shall she call you?~ Dai would be quite un...catching? I mean it's just a nickname towards your older post," Chris bodly stated.

I could feel the shift on the footing below us as Chris gave a small ouch before glaring playfully at his sister.

I didn't know if I was missing something or not.

"....Jameson.." I answered.

"Ara ara~ I didn't expect such"

"What did you expect Chris-san," I inquired a bit amused. It wasn't always that I would give someone my name.

I looked towards Kathy and she seemed a bit flustered.

"Along the lines of a Japanese Angel~"

"Like Tenshi," Kathy continued for her brother.

It suddenly clicked.

Katherine.

Oh how could I forget.

/////Flash back/////

"Tenshi-sama..." Kathy was just inches of kissing me a few minutes ago but I rejected her.

It was the right thing.

I've known Kathy ever since my brother made her my pupil, to teach her magic because she wanted a post in the multiverses as she was the only Kai in Divinity.

Yet the teenager, who was just 17 years old had a thing for me.

Her brother didn't really mind, but my brother did.

I as well didn't like where this relationship was going.

Kathy was a minor.

"Katherine please we can't. I'm much older than you. And I've been patient with you but what you're trying to do can't happen. Can we keep this relationship as teacher and pupil and not much more than that," I stated, my voice sounding a bit stern.

I could feel Kathy's heart break. She bowed her head as tears trickled down her cheeks.

"But do y-you not like m-me Tenshi-sama?"

"Katherine...." I didn't know what else to say. I clenched my fists.

This girl I have spend so much time with. That I felt so peaceful around. That I could be myself.

I had to make her cry like this.

"It's okay Tenshi-sama. I was wrong to think we could be something. I wanted to ask you to wait for me, until I finish school but I guess you don't even like me as I like you," Kathy bowed slightly before heading towards the door.

I didn't even know if I should stop her or not.

"Goodbye Tenshi-sama..."

And I shall never see her again.
