almondstripe is a large, long—limbed brown tabby tom—cat with lighter under—markings, muzzle and rings around his eyes. his fur is relatively messy in places.

he has brown eyes.

almondstripe is a whirlwind of energy, and mischief. his presence and energy is like a spark igniting a flame of excitement. his chaotic nature and playful demeanour is lighthearted, and only there to bring a smile to his clanmates.

he's kit-like in his antics and revels in the thrill of causing a bit of trouble, whether it is playfully teasing his peers, or pestering his old mentor, duskeyes. he likes to keep everyone on their toes with his pranks and bubbly, crazy energy.

almondstripe is quick-witted, and is ready with a clever retort of a witty remark. his mind is a spring of creativity and he delights in spinning tales and stories for others.

beneath his playful exterior is a heart of pure gold. his friendliness known no bounds and he greets each day with a pep in his step, and a smile on his maw. he's warm and approachable, and very easy-going.

above all else, almondstripe cherishes his friendships and values companionship in all, especially in duskeyes and his own apprentice. he's infectiously enthusiastic, making him an excellence cheerleader when it comes to his 'paws training and lessons.

almondkit was born and raised in greenclan, before the crumble. but, after twolegs raided their land and destroyed their camp, killing masses and leaving the survivors wounded mentally and physically.

his father, tempestriver, rescued him and ensured that he survived, begging for his leader, gorgestar, to lead the survivors to a safe place - so they could rebuild the clan.

the group of greenclan survivors reached a high mountain, with a sprawling valley at the bottom. greenclan was rebranded, and named peakclan - enabling the clan to start afresh.

almondkit settled into peakclan quickly. he regularly pestered the older cats, and would visit them in their dens often. berrykestrel, the deputy at the time, was injured on a patrol and almondkit, being the nosey ball of fur he is, pushed his way into the medicine den to spy on the old tom-cat, only to scamper out to bug another cat elsehwere.

almondkit was excited to be an apprentice. he could do what he liked, and not be confined to the nursery and camp, he'd have a mentor and could fight and train.

duskeyes was made almondpaw's mentor, which sparked something within the young tom-cat. duskeyes was a rogue who had joined peakelan not too long ago, and that excited him - almondpaw had, what he thought, was a scary rogue as a mento.

almondpaw was a pawful and a half for duskeyes, but regardless of that duskeyes enjoyed his time training him. almondpaw would often find himself away before his mentor, slapping his paws across his face and whiskers to wake him and force him
into training of some sort.

his first training session was one that was interesting to almondpaw. duskeyes took him into the valley to test his senses. the young 'paw wanted to fight, or hunt, but he made do with what he was tasked with.

almondpaw was eager to please his mentor. he and duskeyes had developed a strong bond over the moons of their training, and he looked up to the older tom-cat, a lot. he was like a father figure, of sorts.

while on a patrol with duskeyes, accompanied by gorgestar, they stumbled across a kitten and the kitten was rushed back to camp, and named splitkit. almondpaw wondered why a kitten was abandoned in the wilderness. he tired to make the kit feel at home, by offering up his favourite prey for her to eat.

almondpaw remembers one of his sessions with duskeyes vividly. he caught a fat mouse, and declared to his mentor that it was the biggest one he'd ever seen. duskeyes was amused by this, and agreed. almondpaw then boasted about his catch for a few days after.

duskeyes and almondpaw stumbled upon a kitten during a patrol. they rushed it back to camp as quick as they could. unfortunately, it was weak and didn't survive. almondpaw was the cat to find the kitten's cold body in the nursery, and the tom-cat mourned the loss of such a young life.

almondpaw was named almondstripe, and honoured for his bravery and his resilience. he was excited to have finally become a warrior - all thanks to the help and training of duskeyes.

    ━ he platonically loves duskeyes, his previous mentor. duskeyes taught him to sometimes step out of his comfort zone, stay collected and use teeth and claws over words. duskeyes helped him become a better hunter. when he graduated, he was honoured for his resilience
