THE POGUES HAD A PLAN. A big one. They just needed too ride it out and see what happened. But, they couldn't do that without the crippling feeling of confusion.

What really happened?

How did they really pass?

Are they even dead?

June's leg bounced in the corner of the room as she bit her finger nail, as she listened too the close conversation of the others, "All right, keep a look out. We're behind enemy lines." JJ spoke, loading his gun.

"Can we literally not?" June raised her eyebrows, getting out the car. Kiara admired her through the window as she fixed her outfit nervously. Her hair was in a high ponytail, which reminded her of there sleepovers.

They would always try and do each other's hair, but fail so bad. June could easily do Kiara's hair, but maybe not the other way around. Just like their relationship. June handled her with passion and care whilst she did the opposite.

"Yo, come on man. Put it back." John B grumbled. "You can never be too careful."

"JJ Maybank." June crossed her arms like an angry mother, "Hey, I predict that bringing a weapon to a four-star hotel will likely cashes more problems than they solve."

"Thank you, Pope."

"I swear too god, I'm gonna throw that thing in the Ocean, JJ. Put it back." He listened too her rough voice as he stomped out the car. "Let's get too goin'. Put on a move on your shit guys." June hurried them out the car, ignoring the way JJ ruffled the hair on top of her head.

"Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Kiara teased. "I bet you would too if you had too hear your own voice for a change." June grumbled back, continuing too walk.

They sped through the kitchen as the heat hit their face, June pacing behind John B who was sure too keep her close. "JJ, it's hot in here, pick up the pace, thanks." She said, clapping her hands lightly as they ran towards the library.

"Wait, I gotta check out my insta models." He grumbled, trying too pry his way into the seat, "We don't got time for that." Kiara said.

"I got the map." John B spoke out, making June smile softly at his and Pope's cleverness, "Coordinates please?"

June itched her head in boredom as they tried too figure it out, but her eyes drifted too the girl who sat next too her. Her eyes drifted too her neck. The silver necklace that rested on her neck looked so familiar, but the sound of distant chatter brought her back,

"Is that doable?" Kiara asked, "Yeah. Totally doable."

"Will we be taking your personal submarine?" He sarcastically stated. "How do you know this Mr. Dive Master?" John B pointed at the blonde boy, looking at him up and down. "The salvage yard."

"They got a drone that can drop 1,000. It has a 360 camera and everything. It's for like deep dives and stuff. It's exactly what we need." JJ explained the the four of them, "Can your dad get his grimy little hands on that?"

"Well, my dads grimy little hands got his ass fired. I guess the salvage captain frowns on showing up shitfaced, turns out. But the drowns there. It's in the impound yard out back." JJ shrugged, "How much money was it again?"

"400 million," June's face dropped, "Why are we still standing here? Let's go." She hurried, rushing out the door with the blonde next too her.

"No. Absolutely not." Pope yelled, trying too block them. "Oh my god, Pope." June was clearly annoyed as she moved the boy out the way running out the library as she followed Kiara.

When a normal scenario in summer with this group of pogues, smoking weed in the car while driving with the windows down; but it's turned into a chase for gold. A better life. All in one, right?"

"Pope, chill, Kay? We won't steal it, just borrow it, y'know?" Pope rolled his eyes at June's words, "Humans are the only animal that can't tell fantasy from reality." Pope randomly spoke up.

"Did you come up with that?" John B asked, "No, Albert Bernstein came up with that but it applies too this whole treasure-hunting thing."

"Oh." He deadpanned,

"So, which is it? Fantasy or reality?"

"I think that if we think hard enough and believe some fantasies become reality. I believe in all types of fantasies." June shrugged, adding onto the situation, JJ handing her the blunt he had previously rolled, "Thanks." She muffled.

"Why you so weird, Pope?"

JJ put the blunt in his mouth as June tried too find the lighter, "Pope?" She looked at him. "Keep the signal clear."

Pulling up too the yard, it was silent and June immediately took a chug of her flask. "You know what your problem is?" JJ and Pope bantered.

June stood by the window by John B's door, facing the other way as she ruffled up her hair and pulled her shirt down some. "June's got it in the bag, doesn't she?" Kiara chuckled. "Oh, fuck yeah."

"No arguing you two." John B pointed, "K, tell her not too piss me off." She smiled sarcastically, looking at the curly haired girl before beginning too walk in the direction.

"Bitch." Kiara groaned before saying a few words too John B.

"Excuse me?" Kiara waved. "Can I help you?" The man came out the door. "Hi, i actually have a flat tire, i was wondering if you could help me out?" June stood next too her, eyeing the man as she smiled. As he turned it, he nodded, "Yeah."

"Oh shit." Kiara laughed, high-fiving the girl from behind her back.

"It's Just this back one right here. I mean it must've been a slow leak or something." As Kiara talked, June motioned from behind her as to tell the boys to go.

As minutes passed, anxiety rushed her through her veins as a dog began to bark. "You hear that?" He said, "No, i don't actually." June shrugged. "It's probably just a raccoon or something." He nodded, "Yeah. Probably."

Kiara's hand brushed her waist too let her know she was going behind the car, as she popped the other side. The sound of air going out, he stood up, "What are you doing?"

"This one looks a little low too." The man chased at the sound and Kiara clearly panicked, "Oh shit!" June grabbed her hand as they ran.

Meanwhile, JJ was getting away with it all, walking away with a cheeky grin ear too ear.

The day was successful. Everything the needed was right infront of them. All they had left too get was the gold.

Now, Kook parties. Drugs, weed, alcohol and men. Usually, overaged. And the girls were only queer baiters or they're curious. So, really nothing too do.

But, June was in for a night as she walked in. Her dress was pink with rips as practically no coverage. She held a bottle in her hand and immediately looked for her best friend. "There she is!" Kelce cheered, making heads turn. June smiled, waving them off as she walked, hearing slight whispers.

"Seriously, Kelce?" The familiar voice said as he watched Kelce smile with his arm around her shoulder. "What? Your ex can party, ain't my fault you let her go!" Distant laughs were heard as June rolled her eyes, pushing him off as she continued to find her best friend.

She watched from a distance as Topper held her in his arms, threatening too jump off the roof into the deep water. "Oh shit!" June laughed. A loud splash was heard as June felt a cold feeling in her stomach, but she didn't know why.

With a POP the bottle cap fell onto her hands as she chugged it effortlessly. "Slow down." The bottle was taking out her mouth by the man she thought she loved, and put on the table. "Who are you to me to tell me what to do?"

"I'm just worried. All you did is drink and fuck. That's a bad reputation if you ask me." His words made arger rise inside her as she laughed. "Awh. If I'm a slut what are you? A man-whore?" By his body language he was embarrassed. "Fuck you." Trevor gritted his teeth, "Not anymore."

"Hey!" Sarah smiled. That voice. It brought her peace as a cold body hugged her. "You look good! Let's go get you some weed, yeah?" She winked, walking off with her, "You love me so much. Weed? I could kiss you!"

She quite literally wanted to.
