Ω the biggest thing he is working on in your relationship is his pride, that is by far the biggest thing standing between him and happiness

Ω on the occasion that he can manage to swallow that pride, he comes to you for advice about things, specifically his attempts to repair his relationship with his kids and ex-wife

Ω at first, those kids hated you... but eventually, they warmed up to you it just took some time

Ω they ultimately saw how much you encourage him (both explicitly and by being with him at all) to be a better man and a better father

Ω the guilt of the inexcusable things he has done eats him alive and when he reaches the point where it breaks him, he needs you to put him back together again

Ω you must be a saint because the level of kindness, patience, tenderness, level-headedness, and love you would need in your precious little heart to love this man would have to be extraordinary

Ω when you first met, he certainly was not planning on falling in love with you, but he knew that went out the window pretty quickly

Ω thankful and grateful do not begin to cover what he feels when it comes to you, he knows he does not deserve you

Ω on that note, because he knows you're too good for him, he would do anything to make you happy

Ω he also knows how to cook and he is very good at it, but he will only cook for you

Ω you find it hilarious when he sometimes has to duck under doorframes because he is so tall

Ω let's face it, he is a massive tsundere even as an adult

Ω he has to be in a very good mood to cuddle with you, so most of the time you have to stay on your side of the bed

Ω he would protect you with his life; he won't let anything hurt you, and if he ever did himself... he doesn't think he could live with himself knowing he did that

Ω he is not very good at romantic gestures (or romance/affection in general), but sometimes he'll surprise you with flowers

Ω he can be a lot to handle sometimes, but you know how to take him down a few pegs
