Milky golden hues draped the city in a warm feeling. In any other circumstance, this feeling would have been comforting or even romantic. Even in the beautiful sunset, the old decrepit warehouse Izuku stood in front of did not look any less unappealing. He wondered why.

At first, he only thought it was a wrong number texting him this location and only this location. Several minutes later, the unknown individual called him by his name. His curiosity had been thoroughly piqued, so here he was. Regardless of the potential danger, Izuku entered the broken-down building. He cautiously looked around, scanning his surroundings. Was there anyone even inside?

"I'm surprised you're here," You spoke up, stepping closer to the young hero. Due to your sudden appearance, he flinched in alarm. He recognized you instantly; you were the villain he fought a few days ago. Through the broken walls and windows of the building, the suns' honey rays fell upon you. Such lighting could have made anyone look pretty, but you were breathtaking. Still, he kept his fists clenched, wary of your company.

"Who are you?" Izuku questioned, tensely stepping closer. "What do you want? How did you get my phone number?" When you first met, the young hero was so baffled and awestruck. His intensity and seriousness he displayed now was... captivating.

"My name is (Y/n). I'd like to talk. Villains have their ways," You explained simply. The boy, his eyebrows furrowed, didn't respond. You began to pace, as you often did. When you moved, he followed. Izuku didn't feel safe getting closer to you, and you didn't feel safe getting closer to him. Like predators prepared to pounce, you circled each other. You held the handle of your blade. He observed you carefully. You were both equally uneasy.

"You're Izuku Midoriya," You broke the silence with a statement. "You're a third-year at UA High and you intern at one of the top hero agencies." Izuku swallowed thickly; it was unnerving how much you knew about him when he knew nothing about you. You kept pacing around each other as if you were vultures flying over a decomposing corpse.

"Why did you bring me here?" Izuku asked seriously. You paused, forcing him to stop. This was your last chance to back out, to return to life as you had known it. Silently kicking yourself for what you were about to do, you internally sighed. Lowering your tone,

"I want to betray The League of Villains," You confessed. Izuku's basil eyes widened, he wasn't sure if he was put at ease by your words or if they made him even more skeptical of you.

"Why would you do that?" He spoke slowly, allowing his hands to fall limp at his sides. You noticed he was getting somewhat more relaxed. You wished you were capable of being in his position. He made you want to lower your guard, to become comfortable which was a rare luxury for you. Nevertheless, you never let go of your weapon.

"I want to pay my debts to society without killing myself," You told him, keeping sharp eye contact with the young hero. "And make no mistake, I might be proposing an alliance, but if necessary I will not hesitate to kill you." You watched as his hands balled into fists once again.

"And if you try anything or I find out you're setting me up," Izuku paused, speaking with the same tone you did, "I won't hesitate to put you in a cell." You nodded your head, glad to have come to an understanding of mutual anxiety and distrust. You both knew better than to put your faith in each other. Yet, you still felt the urge to do so. The odd and unexplainable longing to be close to one another did not overwhelm your training and common sense.

"The League is planning to raid a government facility in two days," You informed him. "I'll send you the location when I get it. Ten o'clock, be there." With those words, you stepped past the young hero. You didn't feel the need to look over your shoulder, to make sure he wasn't going to attack you when you had your back turned. Izuku watched as you disappeared into the evening, going heaven knows where. He wondered where you were going.
