Izuku's phone buzzed while sitting idly on his desk. He received a text from a number he recognized. The message only included a location. Though this was only the second time this had happened, the boy knew what was being asked of him. He made light work of arriving at the scene. This meeting place was far different than the last. Izuku stood at the entrance of a large office building, perhaps three stories tall. He tried to open the door, but they were both locked. It made sense, it was far past dark. This perplexed the young hero.

He looked around, suddenly unsure that he was in the right spot. When he looked up by chance and he caught a glimpse of someone on the roof. You had just dipped out of his line of sight. Now how did you expect him to get up there?

His strategic tendencies kicking in, Izuku saw the fire escape of a neighboring building. He began to climb the metal structure. He got to the top, almost level with the roof of the building you had called him to. Activating his quirk, he leaped into the air. Quickly he came falling down, landing with both feet on the roof beside you.

"Any longer and I would have assumed it was a setup," You remarked, folding your arms over your chest.

"I-I had a little trouble getting here," Izuku admitted, brushing himself off.

"I saw the whole thing," You told him plainly. He cleared his throat awkwardly, feeling a warm tone cover his face. He had hoped you failed to notice his struggle. Presented by your tone, he figured you had no trouble at all reaching the roof.

"Do you have any new information?" Izuku asked, eager to change the subject. You nodded your head slowly.

"I know what Shigaraki plans to do with the weapons we stole," You began to explain, "Not only are we going to use them, but every gun has a chip in it. The hope is, he can use that tech to bypass the security of other facilities." You sigh. "In all honesty, I don't know how it works. I only overheard Shigaraki's mad ramblings." Izuku hummed, processing your words for a moment. You watched his expression subtly change; confusion to a form of gratitude.

"Well, thank you," He said sincerely. "Putting yourself in this position must be dangerous." You nod once again. You were not sure what else to say. You had given him what you came to give, but you didn't want to leave quite yet. The opalescent moonlight bathed whatever life was still awake on the streets in harsh shadows. But atop the three-story building, the light was softer and painted the young hero in a beautiful atmospheric haze. He looked so handsome. You couldn't recall a time where a boy had such an effect on you.

Your eyes tried to memorize every little detail of his face, from tussled pine locks to kind emerald eyes, to soft lips. Your eyes lingered there, you weren't sure why. Was it because of the strange urge you had to kiss him? Probably. Your clouded senses failed to allow you to notice that his eyes flickered across your face in a similar manner.

Though it was dark, it was relatively easy to see one another due to how close you stood. You were standing closer than a hero and villain ought to stand, closer than even acquaintances ought to. You suppressed every impulse you had in that moment.

"Goodnight," You mumbled, turning on your heels to look away from the boy. You walked to the edge of the roof. Izuku watched as you gracefully stepped off the ledge, effortlessly falling to your escape. Into the night you went until you called upon him again.

"Goodnight... "
