arabella walked through the corridors of the ark, sending small smiles to those she walked past. suddenly someone walked straight into her.

"hey! watch where you're going, asshole." she shouted at the man, she quickly realized it was a guard. "oh, shit."

the guard stopped and spun around looking straight at arabella, his buddy next to him doing the same.

"you think just because you're kane's daughter you can get away with everything." the tallest guard out of the two snapped.

"you're the one who walked into me?" she stated with a puzzled look on her face.

"you better watch who you're speaking to. bitch."  the blonde-haired guard spoke, defending his idiotic friend.

"how did you absolute morons manage to become part of the guard?" arabella asked, taunting the two men with a smirk on her face.

the two guards shook their heads and nodded at each other. both men went for arabella, thankfully, the guards had zero coordination so arabella easily got past them.

they lunged for her again, this time the blonde one grabbed her by her shirt and pulled her into him. "woah, what the hell." she shouted.

"shut up." he said, shoving her to the ground harshly, making arabella hit her head.

she winced harshly, pushing herself up and off of the floor. "you really gonna do that to a sixteen-year-old girl?"

they scoffed. "sixteen or not, you pissed us off."

"oh, no." arabella pouted. "did i?"

the tall guard sent his fist into arabella's face. she cried out in pain, feeling her anger rise dangerously fast. she stood herself up again, turning to the guard that hit her, kneeing him harshly in the groin making him double over in pain. she then grabbed him by his hair tilting his head so he was looking at her.

"do something, man." the tall guard groaned out to the blonde one.

arabella quickly reached for the guard's electric baton, whipping it out she jabbed it into the blonde guard's abdomen. her hands shook violently, but she didn't want to stop. she jabbed it into his neck after making sure to do it as long as possible.

once the blonde guard was out cold, she moved back to the taller one who was on his knees trying to settle the pain. arabella sent a punch to his face and didn't stop until he bled. she kicked him harshly in the chest, knocking him over.

the blonde guard tried getting up and tackling arabella but he wasn't quick enough. her fist landed on his jaw, making her instantly pull her hand to her chest. "shit!" she winced.

suddenly, she heard multiple footsteps running down the corridor.

arabella tried to run the other way, but footsteps were coming from that direction too. "oh, no. no, no, no."

the first face she saw was her father's. "bella... what have you done?" he asked in disappointment.

"dad, i promise you they started with me first, they threw me to the ground and one of them punched me." she showed the man her face, which she assumed had already started to turn purple.

abby griffin ran over to one of the guards, the one who punched arabella first. "he's barely breathing, get him to medical now!" she ordered.

arabella looked at the man with no remorse.

"arabella kane." chancellor jaha spoke from behind marcus. "you are under arrest for the attempted murders of james woods and theo peters."

"attempted what now?" arabella yelled. "it was self-defence!" she tried shrugging the guards off her but she didn't have the upper hand this time.

"are you really just gonna stand there?!" arabella screamed at her father, the guards tightened their grip on the young girl. "you're hurting me!"

marcus kane watched as the guards took his daughter away.
