Β
In the beginning, there was only darkness. Then came light. Light overwhelmed and triumphed over the darkness. But where theres light, everything and everyone has a shadow.

Β  Β  Β  Shadows were the greatest threat to the evolving of the gods.

Β  Β  Β Β  Hades, who was banished to the underworld, was blamed for this problem, though he never truly ruled the shadows. He never meant to anger his fellow olympians, he wanted peace and prosperity for the heavens, earth and the under world.

Β  Β  Β  He became lonely in the realm of death, and tired of his unfair treatment.

Β  Β Β  The light shone bright, consuming all of day. And every day cycle hades grew bitter. The mortals were tried and wanted rest for half the day.

Β  Β  Β  To prevent a war, and an era of anger, it would be decided that the day should be split. 12 hours in the day, in the the light and 12 in the darkness. This peace gave hades a new found respect, and he was never associated with the shadows again. Hades was good, and now everyone knew that.

Β  Β  Β  When Apollo and Artemis were born, the two twins became the deity's of the moon and the sun, the symbols of the sky. Together they kept the balance of the day and night.

Β  Β  Β  When the gods started to mingle with the mortals, half bloods were created.

They were the greatest of humanity. They lived 500 years at the minimum, and they were seen as minor gods. That was, until, the age of death. The children of hades evolved, and became everything death was. Dark.

Β  Β Β  They slaughtered the mortals, overwhelming their father. They threw him out of his own realm and took control of the underworld, and created a new human race.

Β  Β  Β  Apollo, the sun god, was angry about the murders of his loyal worshippers. Together, he and his father Zeus made sure that the new human race could never be seen, heard or touched by any other godly or underworld being. Besides the olympian gods, of course.

Β  Β  Β  Β  The humans were safe now, but when they died, they would suffer in the underworld at the hand of hades children.

Β  Β Β  There was a boy, a son of apollo, who grew tired ofΒ  Olympus, and their selfishness, how they did not care for the dead souls in the underworld? The boy, William Solace, wanted to change death, he wanted the afterlife to be a paradise like it once was, Will passionately believed in the mortals and their justice. He wanted to be one of the humans, he wanted to be free and set their souls free, too.

Β  Β  Β Β  Another child, who was born at the end of the age of death, shared the sights of Will Solace. This child, was NiccolΓ³ Di Angelo, was enraged by the cruelty of his home realm, but its all he ever knew. There was nothing he could do, nobody was coming to save him from this nightmare realm. Nico Di Angelo was just another death bringer, but he was unaware that he was one of the strongest ones and that trouble was brewing, heading his way.

A/N: Hii!! Im exited to see where this book goes and I hope u like it. In the chapters, the POV will alternate between nico and will so you can get both sides of the story. I sprinkled in some of my personal head cannons for the characters, like a trans will, and stuff like that. Just wait and see :)))
Some of the characters belong to rick riordan, some to mythology and some to me!
Hope you guys enjoy this story <33
