MARINETTE DECIDED AGAINST stalking Lila for the rest of the day. If she did, Mrs. Medeliev would have her head for not paying attention.

"Girl, we're going to be okay!" Alya patted her friend on the back, who was currently banging her head against the lab desk. "We'll just stay downstairs and won't let Lila into your room."

"You know her," Marinette seethed, though not to her friend. She seethed at herself. She seethed at Lila. She seethed at everything that could possibly go wrong. "My parents think she's an angel who just has about as many disorders as she can write down!"

Mrs. Mendeliev walked into class and began to set up, signaling that the students had about two minutes left to finish their chat and get ready for class, before the worst wrath of any other teacher in school was released.

"Lock the door?" Alya offered, laughing innocently with shrugged shoulders as her friend glared at her. "I'm just saying - it's a possibility, girl."

Marinette grumbled for a few more minutes with a sigh.

"Worst comes to worst, Adrien finds out that you love him!"

Mari slapped a hand over Alya's mouth, just in case the two boys in front of them heard anything. They seemed to be in their own heads, so it probably wasn't too much to worry about.

Lila walked in the classroom and slipped into her seat silently, just before Mrs. Mendeliev could catch her and reprimand her.

"Today, we are going to explore the . . ." Mrs. Mendeliev began to blab. Being a superhero, Marinette had learned to learn fast, and retain the information for as long as possible. This meant that she didn't have to pay 100% attention during lectures, so long as she didn't look like she was zoning out, as she often did.

So she took the time to brainstorm.

How do you stop a pathological liar who everybody loves and believes from finding out that you're the famous Ladybug, whom she also hates so much? The girl's mind spun and thoughts ran around her mind; nothing seemed to stick, however.

But that didn't mean she would give up. It just meant that she, unfortunately for her, had to tune back into class. She knew that if she began to stress over something she couldn't solve, then she would enter her own world, and really would begin to zone out.
