"Sizzle, Barren, Cleo come down here!!" 

Sizzle opened her eyes and leaped from her bed, practically landing on her older brother, Barren. "Hey watch it Siz!" her brother yelled. "Don't call me that and I might!" the pale gold SandWing laughed. Cleopatra giggled from her bed on the other side of the room. "Barren, maybe if Sizzle landed on your head it would flatten your big ego, too!" "Shut your mouth, Cleo or I will!" Barren started to chase his sisters and Sizzle grabbed Cleo enthusiastically and glided down the stairs. 

Sunrise sighed as her three dragonets crashed into the dining table, sending small coconuts they were going to eat for breakfast flying. "What have your father and I told you three about gliding down the stairs in the house? If you want to get injured go to the Scorpion Den!"

"Sorry, Mother," Sizzle rubbed her temples, which throbbed from running head first into the table. 

"Now I want everyone including, you too Lion, to sit their barbed tails down and eat their breakfast!" Sunrise growled at her husband who just walked through the door. Barren, Cleo, Sizzle, and Lion all obediently sat down around the table, quietly, as the female SandWing picked up the several coconuts that rested on the floor and set them in front of each dragon.

Lion then interrupted the silence. "I'm sending you three to an academy," his face remained in its simple serious expression. Sizzle leaped to her talons, angrily. "What, why?!? Father, I don't want to go! You know how much I don't want to go!" Her father hissed. "I've been trying to get you and your siblings a proper education. I finally got you into academy. You are able to explore an island in your free time while learning skills you in to survive as well. Sunset cannot homeschool you forever."

"Father, I-I know. But I'm not going!" Sizzle confronted Lion stubbornly. "I don't understand why," her father raised an eyebrow and his daughter. Then he half-turned to Barren and Cleo. "Barren. Cleopatra. Do you have any objections against this? Do you wish to stand besides your undisciplined sister?" Sizzle looked at them hopefully, but Barren locked eyes with her and shook his head slightly, while Cleo was examining her coconut a little too thoroughly. 

Lion smiled a bit. "Seems like your siblings don't have a problem with going to this academy. Now if you know what's best for you, Sizzle, you will keep yours jaws shut and be prepared to go to school in about a couple months." She glared at him and sat back down, not making eye contact with her siblings. Sunset patted her back supportivity. "Calm down sweetheart. I heard your friend, Sunbeam is also joining you, Barren, and Cleo so it can't be that bad." Sizzle rolled her eyes and stormed back upstairs to her room.

Barren and Cleo walked in and Cleo raised an eyebrow. "I thought you were going to tell them at breakfast today." Sizzle snorted a flame from her snout in confusion. "What in Pyrrhia are you talking about?"

Barren sat down next to her and put a wing supportively around his sister. "I thought you were going to come out of the closet today."

Sizzle sighed. "Guys I just cant. I completely forgot and it's way too hard. Father would not be happy." 

Barren and Cleo exchanged worried and even more confused glances. "So you're not going to tell Mother and Father you're a lesbian."
