So... this has been an ~interesting~ year. Almost one year since I started my artbook actually. Have I improved since then? I'd say yeah, it looks like it.

I know it's already 2023 and I'm late to the party, but here's my 2022 summary of art:

(Why is there so much green?? :') I know it's my favorite color but I didn't think I used it that much. . .  well whatever.)

Yeeeeees. Improvement. A lot, tbh.

I can't believe how bad my art was in January lol. It sort of sucked up until the mid year. You can actually see some style start to develop there so that's nice.

I'm still not fully satisfied despite how far I've gotten. I get really discouraged every time I browse DeviantArt and see all the amazing stuff posted there (please tell me you guys feel the same way ;-;). I know the people there are older than me, but I still feel the need to be at their level.

But hey, enough about me. It's time to ~generalize~

I'm certain of two things: that A) Nobody is ever fully satisfied with what they create, and B) We're always striving to get to the level of idealized perfection. And so I've come to a conclusion: Why worry about it? If you're an artist who is doing what you can then you're moving forward. Just relax, design, and create.
