I was resting up in bed while eating cereal and watching one of my favorite tv shows Supernatural when my phone buzzed and I saw it was a text from my best friend Alex Standall,we've been friends for a few months now and today we were going out.

Truth is that i've had a crush on him right from the start,he also loves the same bands as me,I changed into my Misfits shirt,with black shorts and red converse,I brushed my pale pink hair and was ready in no time. I walked over to where we were meeting and I spotted his bleach blonde hair in the distance.

I surprised him as I hugged him from behind, "(Y/N) you finally arrived."

"Come on I didn't take too long."

"I know i'm just kidding."

I smiled as I sat down in front of Alex and started to sip my iced coffee, "So..what you wanna do today?" I ask breaking the silence.

"Actually I wanted to present you to a friend of mine,she'll be here in a few minutes."

"A friend?"

Alex chuckles and sips his drink, "Don't be jealous,(Y/N) you'll always be my bestest friend."

"Glad to hear that." I smile.

Alex introduced me to this girl her names is Hannah Baker and we might not have that much in common but she's a cool girl. We hanged around the mall for a bit when I asked Alex if he could sleep over to my place since my parents aren't gonna be home.

"We can eat two entire boxes of pizza?"

"How about three?" Alex smirks.

"Even better."

Alex called his father who gladly gave him permission,he didn't bring any clothes so I let him change into my cousins pajamas he once left.

It was around 9 when we decided to watch The Fault In Our Stars and that film makes me cry like a baby. Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters deserved better..a longer life.

"Alex..what would you do if someone near you had cancer..a friend?"

"I would be there for them no matter what." Alex said looking over to me then resumed to look at the tv screen. "I know you would..you're special to me. I would do anything for you you know?"

I kept looking at him till he turned to face me and I took the opportunity to kiss him,quickly he pulled me away a stared at me,confused.

"(Y/N). I like you I really do..but I only consider you as my friend...I like someone else.." He whispered the last part which completely broke my heart.

"I'm sorry (Y/N)."

Alex got up grabbed his backpack and walked out the door without another word. I sank down and started to cry,I ruined our friendship. I really thought he felt the same for me now I know he doesn't. I couldn't sleep that night and quick enough it was Monday meaning hell started.

The hall was filled with kids grabbing their books from their lockers or either taking space by standing in the middle of the hallway.

"Hannah?" I walk towards her who's standing by her locker and look around, "Have you seen Alex?" Her smiles disappeared when I asked her.

"No. I haven't seen him since last weeks."

"Do you have any idea where he is? I want to apologize for something I did."

Hannah looked back at me so I turned my back and I saw Alex standing there holding onto a girls hand,my heart shattered I felt like throwing up.I held onto my backpack and began to run outside.

"(Y/N)!"

Hannah's voice called my name so I stopped and turned back to her, "I am so sorry." Hannah knew I had feelings for Alex.

"He hurt my feelings Hannah..I don't think i'll ever be able to look at him ever again."

Hannah sympathetically smiled at me and placed her hand on my shoulder, "You and me. Tonight. Let's have fun at my place,it'll help you cheer up."

I sniffed but smiled at Hannah, "Alright.thanks Hannah..you're a good friend."
