To someone who will never understand the way I look at you.

Did you see this scene?

You stand on a beach, sand scratching your soles and waves
kissing your insteps
Then you look out
And you see horizon
stretching across your vision
like those mending lines on the stained glass windows of churches,
separating shards of colours.
But you only see the blue,
we only see the blue now.

I will see azure
A shard of blue so wide and mesmerized
yet so resolute and consistent
I will see cerulean wings
hugging the sky and riding the winds
dancing a wild melody, a beautiful symphony
right above my head.
I will see miles and miles of celeste
that worth writing hundreds and thousands poems about
that worth creating an infinite number of arts
and that make me simply and utterly go yes, yes, yes
And even at darkest nights
I will see moon and stars and a million fireworks
exploding
on that midnight canvas
All reflecting from your eyes
and pouring out of your soul
whenever I look at you.

But you will see the indigo and the aquamarine and the cobalt
You will see so many shades of blue
You will see the twists and turns and distortions
of the sea
and its raging colours
screaming and rolling underneath.
And you will see the storms and the rains and the thunders and the tides
that sound like
broken glasses and hypnotized songs.
And you will only see the blue of the tsunamies
and the blue from the bottom of the sea
when you look at into the mirror
and bleed out the blue somewhere
you don't even know exists.

You don't know how much I want to blur the horizon,
erase it, blend it, mask it, cloud it,
rip it out from our visions
So our remnants will mix
and you will see.
Look at me
Look at my blue for you
I always want to scream and shout
Look at this shard of blue and don't mute me out.
Why don't you see?

You will not know how much
I hate when I look at you I see a shard of the sky and when you look at yourself
you only see fragments of deep sea where lights
won't be able to reach.
