That missing you
Burnt

Made me feel
Like I was burning alive
As I burnt for your touch

I will still say
I love you
And
You ruined me for anyone else
Because you were so great
You set
My standards so high
So,

I thought you hated me
And it burned.

But 7 hours later
With the sun beating down
I have my best friend back
And I feel alive again.

The sun burned me
But you?
I felt so happy
Next to you
Laughing with you
Joking with you
And the sun didn't matter.
