Welcome to the TAPE Adoption and Daycare Center. The TAPE guild is adopting kids and housing them in their adoption center. Officially, they are members and will stay in the guild until 18 or adopted and taken out by TAPE guild members.
Only TAPE members are allowed to adopt 'Little Tapers' as they are called. (The word orphans seemed to negative for the whole concept)

The facility also doubles as a daycare center for TAPE members. Since employees are paid through a grant given by the local government, childcare is free to members. (However, they will be charged for food. It is not required to pay upfront or make your kids bring in money. Charges will be billed directly to parents after the fact.) Parents will be charged for keeping their children overnight though, which is anytime after 9pm. Even if you arrive at 9:01pm you will be charged the $100 overnight fee.

These kids require a lot of staff. See Childcare Staff page in the other book for details.

Starting out is the reception desk. A receptionist does the billing, orders new equipment, and checks kids in and out. They also start the paper work to pass on to the Adoption Specialist (see staff page for details)

The main room is the picture at the top. It's a cubby space, toy hall, and introduction area.

There's also a large indoor play area, which has been kindly donated by Play Place, the place to play.

And of course a craft room. The craft room is covered with various colored tables and stations of craft materials. The walls are blank and will soon be lined with children's creations.

And of course there's a children's library. The train was built by guild members and the books donated from various book stores that were running out of space.

And yes, there's an infant room.

And finally, for the use of Little Tapers, are the bed halls. There are three bed halls. Two large ones for Little Tapers, and a smaller one for overnight guests.
The resident halls are separated into boys and girls. Each child gets to pick what color they want their 'room' painted. It comes with a bed on top and a desk and chair underneath. They may decorate as they see fit.

There are several massive closets with rows of clothes donated from various stores, members and just random people. Each closet holds a specific size and is shared by the Little Tapers. When adopted they are allowed to take two sets of clothing, plus whatever they are wearing. Their new parents are responsible for more wardrobe. *outfit sets do not include shoes

There's a cafeteria where Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served, plus snacks all day.

Breakfast options always include:
Various Cereals
Any style egg
Pancake, waffle, or French toast (depending on the day)
Side of bacon or sausage
Toast and Bagels
Pastry of the day (varies from muffins, donuts, scones, etc)
Cup of fruit
Various yogurts
And specialty breakfast (varies form Biscuits and Gravy, breakfast sandwich, crepe, etc)

Lunch options are:
*may choose up to two lunch options plus endless assorted sides
Daily soup (single option everyday)
Daily sandwich (two options everyday)
Salad (house salad with dressing choice, Cesar and occasionally special such as Asian, Cobb or wedge)
BBQ (varies from chicken, hamburger, hotdog, etc.)
And then there are assorted sides which typically include a vegetable, a fruit, rice or pasta and speciality side (varies from French fries, chips, stuffing, etc)

Dinner options:
A meat option (varies from steak, chicken, pork, etc) served with 2 sides
A vegetarian options (varies from salad, veggie casserole, etc) served with 2 sides
Pasta option (varies from spaghetti, lasagna, macaroni, scampi, etc) served with bread and choice of soup or salad
Seafood option (various from fish n'chips, crab, shrimp, etc) served with whatever speciality side the chef prepared for it. (Ex: fries with fish or baked potato and cheese bread with crab)

Desserts are served after dinner and include:
Ice cream (three flavor options a night. Always vanilla, chocolate and daily special)
Cupcake (varies from chocolate, vanilla, fudge, red velvet, etc)
Pudding or jello (varies from vanilla pudding, chocolate pudding, strawberry jello, etc)
Specialty (varies from lava cake, slice of pie, tart, etc)

And all day snacks include:
Assorted fruit
Assorted vegetables
Yogurt
Cheese
Deli Meats
Crackers
Nuts
Pretzels
And anything the chef felt like making up that day
