The yelling, is a constant reminder I've let you down,
to say I thought this time I'd done things the right way.
Delusional I know right?
But truth takes time to sink inside.
No anchor can hold you,
unless it is strong and sturdy.
But once your done holding on,
don't forget who you were without it.
Because sometimes it is better to,
let go before you get attached and,
never forget you were there for a reason once upon a time.

The sky illuminated by thunder,
vibrant and echoing through the night
leaving me to ponder on my life,
its worth and its might.
