As Percy and Evelyn walked off to iris-message Sally I remembered being on the run with Evelyn.

~Flashback~

It was a quiet night in the alley that held the three demigods, except Thalia Grace was up staring into space as she tried to fall asleep. That is until a banging was heard at the entrance of the hiding place. Thalia reached over shaking Luke awake before picking up Annabeth from where she lay asleep and moving her behind them. As she stood in a defensive stance she realized the threat outside hadn't even come close to finding them and that there was probably a demigod being attacked. Creeping silently forwards she stuck her head out of the makeshift fort. Then she saw them a baby hellhound and a little girl fighting a basilisk. The snake was facing away from her so it would be easy to ambush. Then Thalia made a rookie mistake. She had stepped on an empty bag of chips drawing the monster's attention to her. As the basilisk turned towards her she brandished her spear in a threatening manner causing it to advance in a rage. The girl and the hellhound took the chance and attacked it much more successfully than the daughter of Zeus, killing it in slashes of the claw, swings of the whip, and bites of the teeth. When the monster exploded into dust the girl turned to her and introduced herself as Megan Eggsheet. Thalia suspected the name was fake but she didn't question it instead, proceeding to introduce herself and ask her if she needed anything. Megan just told her that a partner in crime would be nice to have since Olive, her hellhound, wasn't always going to be able to protect her. Thalia then proceeded to call out to Luke asking him to put away all the weapons in the fort and not freak out when they walked inside and when he swore on the River Styx to her terms she led Megan into the fort. When we got inside Megan had Olive sit at the entrance of the fort guarding them against ambushes. Luke looked like he would have killed the poor girl for bringing a hellhound into the area but thankfully he restrained himself. When we finished our introductions we had learned that she had 42 godly parents and 1 mortal parent and that she was everyone in the fort's half-sister on the godly side. We also learned that she can summon and tame any monster in Tartarus which is how she got Olive and that the last time she was down in there she met a giant who was super peaceful and nice and his name was Damasen. Soon enough Megan was curled against Thalia's side as she slept peacefully and the Daughter of Zeus started to finally doze off to sleep.

~End of Flashback~

"Thalia. Hello. Earth to Thalia. Pinecone Face." As she snapped back to the present she noticed Nico about to smack her across the face. Keeping the I'm staring into space fame on she prepared for the maneuver that would send Nico to the ground without him making any contact. And when he did try to smack her she sent him painfully to the ground. "Thalia. Why'd you have to do that," Nico groaned. "You're not allowed to slap an immortal huntress especially when she is the Lieutenant of Artemis." "Oh come on we had to get your attention somehow." "So tap me softly on the nose until you get my attention," I said rolling my eyes. "When'd you get the job of Lieutenant Lia?" "After Zoë Nightshade was killed by Atlas on Percy's 3rd quest." "Cool." "Not really but yeah." "I meant you getting promoted to Lieutenant." "Oh, well thanks." "You're welcome. Do you know how Olive is doing? I think I made the right decision leaving her with Daedalus but I'm not sure." "He changed her name to Mrs. O'Leary and then when he died gifted her to Percy here." "That little swine! I want my dog back!" and then she marched over to Percy looked him into the eye and said "We share custody."
