It's been 10 years since Camille turned into a vampire and her life changed more than she was expecting. Sure, before her transition she was already part of the supernatural world because of the people close to her being vampires but when she turned into one, she had to learn about herself, she had to control her dark side that she used to hide when she was human and she had to learn about herself all over again.

Camille knew that now she was handling very well being a vampire because of the support of her cousin and the help of the Mikaelsons, her boyfriend and her friends.

In fact, she was thankful that she turned into a vampire because it made her feel confident and more independent. She knew she could very well take care of herself. And not only that but also it was thanks to her turning into a vampire that she met and fell in love with Damon Salvatore, the one man that loved her for all that she was, he didn't tried to change her, he loved every single pet about her, even the dark side.

After she turned, she let like doing something to help, so she decided to create a gym with Damon Salvatore where they would also trained vampires to be able to defend themselves, but also Camille had a place in that so called gym where she helped them physiologically, taking use of her phycology degree.

Now she was happier than ever, she had her cousin back in her life, she had a boyfriend who understood her and loved her and she was surrounded by friends.

Brandon and Josh were now married and they co-owned the record store which they turned into a record store that had also a bar in it, which was especially great for the karaoke nights. One would think that would be difficult for a couple to work together while also living together but they were two pieces of the same puzzle and everything just worked.

Davina and Caleb were also married and they started to run the store of the Bennetts, while Davina would also help other witches to think for themselves and not just do whatever the ancestors wanted, of course the ancestors didn't appreciate that but Davina didn't want more witches to be blind by the ancestors commands. She believed in free will and in everyone thinking for themselves, and Caleb couldn't be more proud of his wife.

Rebekah and Enzo have been dating for almost 10 years and they have never felt happier. Rebekah thought that taking the cure and being human was the secret to find her happily ever after, but she now realized she was wrong, she just had to find a way to feel alive, the way she stopped feeling over time. Since Enzo and Rebekah weren't able to make memories for a long time, Rebekah by being staggered in the 20s and Enzo by being a prisoner, so after they made 2 years of dating, Enzo asked her to not stay in New Orleans and start travel the world, making up for the lost time.

Klaus, Caroline, Kol, Bonnie, Elijah and Elena have been living together for a few years now, just like Damon, Camille, Stefan and Sarah have been living together too.

Klaus has been ruling New Orleans with the help of Elijah and Caroline, making sure they kept the peace between witches, vampire and werewolves. Elijah was the one who would be able to reason with everyone while Caroline was the one who was able to be more compassionate.

Niklaus Mikaelson not only lived in fear of getting caught by Mikael, but he also lived in fear of never being truly happy, never feeling accepted by his family and never feel true love, but now all those fears were gone. In fact, now that he felt less afraid, he stopped threatening his siblings that he would dagger them and even though he didn't love that he had an ocean between him and his little sister, he was supportive of her, knowing it was more than time for him to give his sister the freedom she's been asking and to let her follow her heart.

Klaus has been so happy, that he even wanted to propose to Caroline but because she didn't lived as long as him, he tried to take things slow, although not long after they started to live together they acted pretty much like a married couple, they could bicker every once in awhile but would always end up with them making up because they didn't like to be without the other.

Klaus and Caroline could look like a married couple but Elijah and Elena looked like an old couple, they loved to spend their time together, talk about their books, play some chess and one of their favorite routines was going to their bench at the park and feed the ducks, just enjoying the little things life had to offer. Elijah felt that being with Elena gave him a new appreciation for life and made him enjoy the little things, simple things like looking at the clouds for fun or walking down the beach.

Elena was never so happy and it was thanks to Elijah's support that she reunited the courage to ask Sarah to be partner with her and open a clinic so they could both work and help people. For the first time in a long time Elena felt happy and fulfilled and that could never happen if it weren't for Elijah Mikaelson, the man of her dreams. She remembers how she always felt attracted to him but when they met she was with Stefan, and she finds amusing how after so many years they were able to reunite and fell in love.

Kol and Bonnie have been dating for quite some time too and it was thanks to Kol's help as long as Bonnie's cousins that she was able to integrate the witches of New Orleans and help the new witches to find their magic and how to control their powers, since they could get out of hand when one would get emotional. Kol and Bonnie were good for each other, Bonnie grounded Kol, made him be more aware of consequences and to stop with draining people for fun, while Kol made Bonnie see life could also be fun and made her enjoy every day, because with him, every day was an adventure and she loved it. She wasnt sure if she was ready to be a vampire but she was sure she wanted to be with Kol for a long long time so she casted a spell on herself so she wouldn't age as fast as usually humans do, giving her time to make a decision about turning into a vampire or not. For now the two were happy and that was all they were focused on, since they both suffered a lot in the past, feeling that they weren't loved or that they were outsiders, but now they were together and that feeling of being lost started to disappear.

Stefan and Sarah were together, Stefan every once in a while went to help Cami and Damon at the gym but he also opened an auto repair shop because he loved rebuilding cars and repair them. He always felt that he lost himself when he turned but now he felt more like his old self, he felt human, he felt fulfilled and he felt loved for who he was, good and bad. He never wanted to make Sarah turn so to not let her feel pressured to make that decision, he told her that if she wanted, she could ask Bonnie to put a spell on her so she could slow her aging, although that wasn't needed because Sarah soon realized she wanted to be a vampire, she wanted to spend eternity with her cousin and with the love of her life. Yes, it could sound rush but she never felt like this for no other person before and she also wanted to keep being there for her cousin. Once Sarah turned, Stefan and Cami helped her out learning how to control urges and just like Caroline, she was a quick learner and she soon was able to go back to work at the hospital.

Camille realized along the time that turning it was the best thing that every happened to her because not only she learned more about herself and found a man who loved her for all of her but also because it made her find a new family. Cami, her cousin, the Salvatores, the Mikaelsons, the Bennetts, Josh, Davina, Caroline and Elena were now like a big happy family and they could be a little crazy and dysfunctional but it was her family and she loved all of them.
