Although Foot Eg was defeated, the Revolution's work was not over for the next two weeks. The day after the battle, Eg Ella and her friends were mostly praised by the community as the Revolution showed all the evidence justifying the death of Foot Eg. There were a few rebels that appeared, still loyal to Foot Eg, but they were captured and forced to drink the antidote, which somehow worked even though they never drank tea from Foot Eg.

The institutions that Foot Eg created crumbled a few days later. The council, that was still technically existent, was nullified by their own members, Eg Duck Sheriff and Eg Duck Johnny. Foot Eg's army was disbanded by the head commanders, not wanting to be associated with the dead criminal, and there was nobody to fight anyway. Some ex-soldiers joined other groups of justice, while others went on to have normal lives, forgiven for their role in the battle and able to have regular jobs.

Eg Duck Will and Eg Rat Matt officially became a couple. All of their friends were very happy to see them together and in love. Some of them suspected they might even be married one day.

The Revolution helped to make a new government with elected officials, campaigns lasting a mere week before voting day as the urgency for new leaders was too great. Election day went smoothly, and the World of Eg quickly went back to normal with its new government.

Since the main mission of the Revolution was to stop Foot Eg, there was no more goal, so the highest ranking officials of the Revolution decided it would be best to put the movement on a hiatus until another threat showed up. Spies were paid highly for their dangerous but loyal services, while Eg Ella and her friends got more than the average member for helping to defeat Foot Eg directly.

Two weeks after the battle, Eg Ella and her friends relaxed on the couch by the fire in the cabin near the ice rink.

"You did really well, you know. You fulfilled the prophecy about you and did more after that to help the Eg world," Eg Eva told Eg Ella.

Eg Ella had completely forgotten about the prophecy. She smiled to herself as she remembered how confused she was as she first heard it.

"Mmm, this is really romantic," Eg Duck Will whispered to Eg Rat Matt as they kissed softly.

They all sat quietly in a comfortable silence, reminiscing about the past. How funny that so much could change in only a year, and yet a year ago, they were all sitting here, just like this, enjoying each others presence.

Truly, there was no greater gift.
